Thoughtfully crafted vegan food. They have full range of options in drinks, coffees, breakfast items and entres. Nice cozy setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The place is well kept. The staff were very extremely friendly and helped us choose. Food was a bit on the milder side but it was well put together overall. Slightly pricey if you order all accompaniments for a given main course item.

It's really hard to find vegan options or dairy free options at a restaurant these days. Almost every place is mostly fried food despite cuisine. This place was a breath of fresh air. It is beautiful inside and has a gorgeous patio with views of the cute downtown area. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and didn't rush us out. I ordered the pasta alfredo which was very creamy and my friend had the "steak" salad which she loved. There is a large food menu and drink menu including mocktails and crafted drinks. This is a great place for all occasions and did I mention they also have dessert?!

What a cute place! We decided to bring our vegan daughter for her birthday and we all really enjoyed it! It was Sunday at noon and they were very busy, so the service was spotty and a bit on the slow side, however, the manager or owner (not sure what title the woman had) came over and acknowledged how slow it was which we appreciated. It did take at least a half hour before we got our coffees and they got it wrong on one of them so I would suggest going on a less busy time. However, we all enjoyed our food very much! My husband had the Chilaquiles and I had the Huevos Rancheros and both were so yummy! Our daughter and her husband had the tofu scramble and French toast which they enjoyed a lot. I'm not sure how much I would enjoy the French toast though as it appeared with no syrup but rather the toast was partially soaked in some sort of syrup type thing and no extra syrup was given. He enjoyed it though but I didn't ask for a blow by blow description of it, so my opinion is purely based on how it looked. For dessert, they brought out the most delicious huge chocolate chip cookie with a candle for our daughter's birthday and we all shared it. It was sooooo good! Two of us had chai espresso martinis that were very tasty! We did order sangria but had to return it which I try to never do unless I really dislike something. Neither of us liked the sangria. It was extremely bitter and not balanced at all. We will definitely be coming back though! My husband is not vegan and usually doesn't like these types of restaurants but he loved the chilaquiles so much he wants to come back and that says a lot!ho

We stopped by Blossom and Root on our recent visit to Northern California and it's the kind of restaurant that I could go to at least 3 times a week and still enjoy it. The fully vegan menu is very well crafted with highly nutritious and delicious options including greens and all sorts of proteins (beans, chickpeas, tofu) without fake meats and cheeses. Portions are perfect for sharing (tapas style) so you get to enjoy more than just one item. The service was super friendly and the restaurant is clean and beautifully and cozy decorated. Because it was winter we didn't enjoy the terrace but that is likely a great treat in the summer.

We love a good vegan cafe!!! My partner and I had some downtime during the day, decided to try Blossom and Root while in downtown Danville for a casual weekday brunch. Vibrantly decorated inside and out. Feels very inviting yet eclectic and fun. Upon entering, we were welcomed warmly and felt right at home. POWER PARFAIT: Dressed-up overnight oats/chia pudding ^_^ Extra refreshing topped with fruit & lemon zest. TBH this is a meal all in itself, super hearty. BREAKFAST BURRITO: H E F T Y. So delicious and incredibly filling. I couldn't believe the egg was actually plant-based...! Tasted fresh & flavorful. Paired with a couple coffees (amazing house-made syrups!!!), this was the perfect brunch. Already itching to come back :3

Street parking Indoor and Outdoor seating The decor is cute-- like cottage chic? I don't know how to describe it. Is it all vegan? Could've fooled me. Some components were really impressive dupes of the non-vegan kind, i.e. the blue cheese. The person that sat me also served me and she kept it super casual, taking a seat at the table while taking my order. Other diners were all extremely jolly helping make the atmosphere of sitting in this restaurant kind of whimsical. It was my first visit and I would return and recommend it to others. If you like crab cakes, give theirs a try. It's made of mushrooms and I couldn't tell. I was impressed.

These people have great vegetarian food. The coffee was very flavorful. The maple brussel sprouts were fabulous. The the garbanzo soup was terrific. Service is great. It is an indoor outdoor casual dining experience, with a very friendly atmosphere. The secret menu sweet potato soup was very flavorful. I had the mushroom steak salad with blue cheese and it was fantastic. As was the burger, which was a pleasant surprise, especially with the fried onion garnish.

Weekends offers brunch menu , but 9/3 breakfast will be available 9am-2pm Wed thru Sun !! Was in the neighborhood coming from a party @ Hap Magee Ranch Park about 5 min away !! After eating cabbage salad & fruit I needed some vegan substinance so ventured here !! Quaint, charming - was a hotel in a past life !! Very inviting, neat & tidy !! Was seated & offered water, still or sparkling Ordered the Maitake Mushroom salad, it was between that & the mushroom lettuce wraps !!The salad contained vegan blue cheese crumbles, romaine, cherry Tom's, cuc, radish, cranberries, apple slices, fried onion strings, radicchio, in a light creamy dressing...very tasty, refreshing, filling, savory & sweet !! Servers was knowledgeable, quick, offered suggestions, dessert options. The bathroom has adorable wall paper

Great place for brunch! We arrived Saturday morning without reservation but were seated within a few minutes. Excellent vegan/vegetarian options. The entire staff interaction was pleasant and present without being overwhelming. I devoured their Tofu Scramble with some Sourdough f-f-f-f-French Toast and a nice Gewürztraminer L'Orange. (The Silence of the Lambs). My wife enjoyed the Crab Cakes, Maple Brussels Sprouts, and a Father's Beer Lager. The brownie was delicious and an excellent cap to an outstanding experience. Fun was watching the kitchen staff crafting the meals, the manager creating interesting beverages, and the open-air environ.

First time having a cocktail here. The strawberry margarita was excellent. The salt rim was delightful and the strawberry garnish was the sweetest strawberry I've ever had! My friend had the raspberry margarita. She enjoyed it very much as well. For dinner, we each had the Kale & White Bean Soup. Delicious and comforting. We also shared: Tofu Lettuce Cups - Wow! Amazing how they made tofu and rice sing harmoniously together! The sauce was the perfect match. Mushroom Steak Salad - The mushroom was hearty. Loved the bleu "cheese" dressing. The combination of textures was lovely. The service was excellent. I don't know how Steven did it all. He was our server and bartender. He was friendly, professional in a casual and welcoming manner.

It was my second time dining at Blossom & Root and everything was delicious! We made reservations for a Friday night at 5pm and it was empty as I arrived. Soon more people started trickling in and it became quite busy. I adore the cute space. It felt very homey and comfortable. For food we started with the mushroom lettuce wraps. It was topped with crispy rice with Bibb lettuce, fresh basil, mint, cilantro, a side of pickles with lime. Medley of mushrooms were cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this appetizer. For the main dishes we opted for the specials of the night - drunken noodles and Toscana pasta. The drunken noodles were quite spicy which my friend enjoyed. I also loved the creamy tomato pasta that I had. For dessert we got then cheesecake mouse and it was light and dreamy! The table next to us saw the food we got and ordered the same things we did! lol I can't wait to go back to Blossom and Root! They have a happy hour that I'd like to try next time.

Great food, friendly staff. The fritters were exquisite, like a vegetable tempura with a killer chipotle glaze. We will be back.

Salmon crepe: 4/5- this came with a salad with light dressing. Crepe itself was slightly crispy with a nice mixture of salmon, spinach and egg. Good combination. Added Tapatio for some heat. When it arrived, it was presented nicely with chocolate and vanilla ice cream with blueberries and strawberries around the plate. The Honey bread itself has a nice crisp to it with the right balance of sweetness to it. My wife and I devoured this. Definitely recommended. Overall, this was a great spot if you are craving crepes. So we sat in the patio which had fans and nice plants which shaded well. Felt like sitting a garden and was cool. However when walked through the restaurant to the patio it was almost all empty and plenty of tables so kinda odd. Service was okay, kinda slower than I expected. Poor server also spilled water all over me but I was thankfully wearing shorts so it was okay. Food was great though! We ordered a Sedona chicken sandwich with garlic fries and chicken picatta. Sandwich was kinda like a grilled chicken burger. The thicken breast was moist and fries were crispy and tasty. Chicken picatta was delicious and perfectly mixed with mashed potatoes, spinach, capers. The chicken wasn't dry. Pear martini was the best. I would come here just for this drink. I think they home make the syrup. Old fashioned was good but a little sweet.

Since we were there so early we were able to get seated right away without reservations. Walking in my first impression is this restaurant is beautiful! It's professionally decorated/designed. We ordered the ube latte, matcha latte, marnier French toast, coconut moffle, and millionaires bacon. Service was great! Everything came out very quickly! The ube latte actually had a very strong ube taste and not just the brilliant purple color. And you could tell it was freshly prepared since it was still a tiny bit warm despite being an iced drink. The matcha came with cute latte art and was filled to the brim. The matcha was a good strength without crossing into overly earthy. The French toast had a very smoky flavor that reminded me of the smoke when a birthday candle is blown out. I don't know how they did that. It was a very unique flavor. The moffle was a very balanced and tasty dish. The Brie went well with the raspberries. The waffle had a nice chewy texture from the mochi. I didn't get a lot of coconut flavor but I still enjoyed it a lot! The millionaires bacon hit all the right notes for me. You have the saltiness, a kick of spiciness, some sweetness, etc. The only negative for me was the front door/entrance should stay closed more. There were some flies that distracted from the lovely experience. But that may not be completely possible given how popular they are there are probably a lot of people coming in and out at any given time. We left stuffed but without leftovers. It is a little pricier for breakfast. I think after tip it was around $100. So it was $50 per person. This is one of the best brunches I've had in a long time! I can't wait to come back and try their other items.
