So many great things going for this place. The ambiance is so cute from the walls, the books, and the plates they have. My daughter refers to this place as the "mermaid" place. We ordered the mermaid drink and she got to pour the liquid in it and watch it turn to a mermaid bowl. She loved it. We had the pickled veggies, olives, bread plate, masa cake, burger, kids Mac and fritters. The fritters were more like veggie tempura. They stayed crispy throughout the entire meal. I asked for a sauce to dip in that wasn't vegan mayo based and they brought me this sweet chili sauce that was addicting and I started to dip everything in it. We had Sierra as our server who was very attentive and got our order down perfectly. She was knowledgeable about the dishes. We went in opening night and it wasn't chaotic like most openings. I decided to try this new restaurant after hearing very good comments from my coworkers, and I'm so glad I did! It's a vegan restaurant, and even though I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian, I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. The vegan blue cheese was surprisingly delicious--better than the real thing! We sampled the crab cakes, puttanesca pasta, chicory salad, and lettuce wraps, and every dish was amazing. The drinks were also beautifully presented and flavorful.
