My usual go to is Jasmine Green Milk Tea but I ended up trying the Rose Earl Grey Tea and it turned out a nice "Fragrance Bomb". Very friendly & quick customer Service. If you like trying teas try the Rose Earl Grey tea at BL Tea. It has natural dried rose petals and it pairs well with early grey flavor. Just the perfect tea to uplift your mood and refresh you. More of a 3.5 stars, but rounding up for friendly service and great aesthetics. We ordered Twilight Lychee and Sunset Peaches. They use real fruit in their drinks, which is pretty much the standard of all good boba places these days. The sunset peaches would probably taste great with toppings, but I didn't get any so it felt like there was something missing in taste. Both drinks were on the sweeter side for my own personal preference. I wouldn't say this place is a must visit, but it seems to be the best option around this area. My girlfriend and I have been coming to this place for years since open. We've always enjoyed the service and the quality of the tea. However there's been much change to the staff and quality of the drinks and service. Yesterday we order two drinks with boba and one of their raspberry Dubai matcha cakes. One of our drinks came with no boba at all even though I asked for it and paid for it. I went back and they did give me boba but the lady made me feel like it was my fault I didn't get the boba which is so weird and off putting. Also usually places just make you a new drink but she decided to take my drink and just put boba behind the counter which is not good hygiene practice. Now we were in my car getting ready to dig into our raspberry Dubai cake and they had given us the wrong cake as it had no raspberry. So yet again I had to drive back. I explained they gave me the wrong one and even showed the receipt I was given the wrong one since I ordered the raspberry one. They exchanged it but yet again made me feel like it was my fault which is ridiculous as the box has no label. Also they did not let me keep the cake I had already eaten. I was inconvenienced twice already and the least they could have done is let me keep the already bitten into cake. Whenever I'm in the valley, I always go to this boba spot. Most boba places don't impress me but Bltea is on my top 5 boba places to go to in LA. Their summer mango series is currently my favourite because their fresh mangoes/purée is ripe and sweet. Previous favourites have been kumquat drink and matcha strawberry. Their blueberry waffle last time I tried though tasted either moldy or had an artificial taste from their blueberry puree, I couldn't tell. I do like their boba tiramisu on their dessert menu. Boba was not it for this place. I wanted to try something new so I came around to Bl tea and was super disappointed. I wanted a normal milk tea but all they offered that was some kind of milk tea was an oat milk tea for some reason? Not plane? I asked the tearista what were their signatures and they told me "most of them". Recently they got this new mango themed drinks and my family member got the mango sticky rice drink they offered. That drink had NO MANGO at all, only had a few clumps of purple rice and the rest of it was just coconut milk. It basically was just coconut milk itself with those clumps and there wasn't a drop of mango taste or color at all. I personally had the dalgona coffee with boba drink, it was decent but it's your average coffee. The boba how ever was bland and had no flavor and was not chewy or very soft. It wasn't overly sweet at least but it wasn't very appetizing and it took me a really long time to just have a sip at it. I didn't enjoy my experience here nor my drinks very much, and they disappointed my family member greatly, she was really disappointed. If youre going to make a drink that's literally called mango sticky rice, you at least have to have mango in it.... Honestly I wouldn't call this place authentic boba, I wanted to trust the reviews as people said it was decent and their favorite but in the end, I have concluded this is a mediocre boba place and I do not recommend. Plenty of parking since it's part of a strip mall. Not too big - probably ideal for a party of 2 or 4. This spot had popped up on my Instagram one too many times, so I decided to check it out. Right off the bat, I was intrigued by the extensive menu. I was torn between multiple options--I was in the mood for an iced coffee but also craving something sweet. Although I usually prefer my iced coffee bitter, I asked for a recommendation based off my mood. The bobarista and I came up with a hybrid Vienna coffee with crème brûlée and boba. I opted for the large and paid $8.65, which is a bit steep, but the drink was fabulous and worth it, as it was sweet, crunchy, and still had a strong coffee note. The drink was ready in about a minute; by the time I sat down, my order was called. The establishment had a few tables and a chill seating area with three TVs. One was playing "Regular Show" and old Cartoon Network shows, creating a really relaxed vibe. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Hole in the wall boba joint here in Reseda-Van Nuys area. They have a good variety of drinks ranging from different types of milk teas, milk ice blended drinks, lattes, Vietnamese coffee drinks, Creamcheese series, fruit teas, and even desserts such as cheesecake slices & Garlic cream cheese bread. Their toppings are quite limited, in my opinion, especially when compared to boba places in the SGV area. They have common toppings like regular black sugar boba, crystal boba, egg pudding, aloe vera, grass jelly, ai yu jelly, lychee jelly and tiramisu/cream brûlée cream. I actually came here wanting to try their special Blood Dragon Milk tea - contains purple rice and jasmine milk tea, but it's "pre-made," so you can't adjust the sweetness level :/ so I did not end up getting it. I got their Signature Brush Stroke Sesame drink instead - contains Organic black sesame cream and organic milk. It was cool & mysterious to the eyes and was quite rich & delicious to the tastebuds. I got it with no sugar, which they told me would not taste good, but it was perfect to me. I would come back again to try their other drinks. Wish they can allow for sweetness adjustments on all their drinks in the future. Parking was a bit challenging as it's in a tiny strip mall. There are absolutely no artificial flavors compared to other coffee shops. There are actual bananas in the pudding plus the nilla wafers! My friend got the coconut matcha latte but didn't know it was coconut water, where she asked if she could get something else and the workers changed it to a regular matcha latte no questions asked!
