Called about a plugged up toilet because of a object dropped in and won't flush. Tony went over said he couldn't turn off the water at the toilet and wasn't sure if the main by the street would turn off Said I might need a new toilet??? And then something about the main water line He was all over the place and obviously didn't know what he was doing. The tenant then called a non plumber friend who turn off the water at the toilet Retreved the object plugging it and the toilet was fine. Incredibly rude customer service. Plumber told me he was going to show up and then the next day he didn't. When I called their office they told me they'd call right back, then they didn't call back , so I had to call a third time and they told me it was my fault for assuming that they would come. Blue Drop Plumbing turned out to be the right people to call. Tony the business owner arrived quickly and responsively. My wife and I had a clog in our main line, which began to back up sludge into our shower. After trying snaking out the tub drain 3 times; Tony quickly diagnosed us and told us to wait until morning where he could come first thing to fix us up. Before he left he vacuumed out our shower, and headed out. The next day Tony arrived only 15 minutes late, no big deal. He let us know he was sorry for not arriving on time. I tried to get an estimate from them for a clogged sewer line and a technician called me and said he was 10 minutes away so I said I'd go open my gate (my property is a ranch and 1/4 mile long). I hung around outside waiting and waiting and looking down my 500 foot long access road. 40 minutes went by so I checked my phone and I saw he had called but left no message. I dialed the number and got a girl in their office. She checked with him and he said he arrived and called me for access permission. I don't get it...I had already given him access permission 40 minutes prior when I said I'd go open the gate. He never entered my access road or I would have seen him. Perhaps he stayed out on the highway at the mailboxes when he called. He told her that my road was too narrow for them to bring their hydrojetting equipment but that's crazy...I get huge dump trucks coming in and out of my property as they drop dirt loads in a washed out portion near my stream. He didn't even see my road if he stayed out on the highway. He had argued with me on the phone when I first called the day before, acting like he didn't want the work and giving me a high ballpark quote because he'd have to work through the toilet hole. He totally wasted my time, not even meeting me as agreed, and I learned the hard way who not to call the next time I have sewer troubles. Maybe Blue Drop only does the easy jobs. read more

I had the best experience I've had with a plumbing service. I own a carwash. The city of Santa Monica and my sewer line backed up on a Sunday which is the busiest day for me. I called Blue Drop Plumbing And Anthony responded to my emergency call within a minute, and he showed up 30 min later. He couldn't fix the problem with the tool he had, so he went back and brought a hydro jet to open the line. He was patient and diligent and after couple of hours he was able to completely fix the issue. He is the guy I'll be calling if I have a plumbing problem anytime. read more

In an industry where you don't find too many honest companies, We found him to be super trustworthy and he didn't try to Upsell us when we told him about our sewer line problem.. a problem another company quoted us $12,000!! I came home after dinner and found that my kitchen sink was almost completely filled with water. I made a distress call to Blue Drop Plumbing at 10:30 pm and Tony got to my condo in about 30 minutes. I have dealt with many plumbers throughout owning several houses over many years, but Tony is the first one who I feel that I can trust to give me the kind of professional service that I need. While installing a sub-meter at my current residence, we noticed a sound in the laundry room pipes. After crawling underneath the house, he found the leak and repaired it, but also discovered a gas leak. After getting a third party to inspect the house for other gas leaks (at Tony's recommendation) we realized we needed extensive repair to our gas lines. Rather than try to up-sell us, Tony helped us find a company that was able to handle large jobs such as ours at a better price and with a more honest approach than any of the other companies that I interviewed. While I can understand some customers' irritation with getting ahold of him (he is usually in high demand), I have found that when he gets on the job, he sticks with it until it is resolved. My wife and I will not hesitate to use him again for my home and my rental houses. read more

I am small business owner in the restaurant industry. Needless to say, affordability and timeliness is crucial when working with my vendors. I came across Blue Drop and Tony after disappointing experiences with other plumbing company. Unlike other companies, Tony is the consistent technician that comes out and actually remembers his customers. Other plumbing companies have a call service and source out the job. Regardless of the work these "other" plumbing companies will try to charge you a minimum because these plumbers have to share their revenue with the call center. Since Tony doesn't do that, he is very fair with his pricing and does give credit/discounts to returning clients. Unlike other companies I never know whose coming to service my establishment, with Tony's Blue Drop he is aware of the history of the service and stands by his work. I have had two plumbing emergencies in the past few months. One on Thanksgiving Day and the other last weekend. In both cases, Tony, the owner, responded immediately and set up time to come over ASAP despite it being a holiday in one case and a weekend in the other. Tony is a methodical, professional plumber who takes his time to properly diagnose an issue and then finds the best, most economical solution. He is considerate, leaves absolutely no mess and is accommodating beyond expectation. And even when he has fixed the problem, he stays a bit longer in order to recheck his work. He takes great pride in his service and knowledge and it is well-earned. If he does not answer the call himself, his receptionist / office manager, Cindy, is just the best...sensitive, effective, professional. I really didn't have a good experience with them ! I found this place through recommendation, therefore, I was so happy at last I find a reliable good place ! I have called them, made appointment for Friday at 4:45. Not only no one showed up, also I didn't get any call regard them not coming. I called 5, 5:15, no one answered. An hour later, a lady answered the phone and said to me Tony can't come, he is busy somewhere else ! Although I was not happy with not being notified, I gave it another chance and reschedule for Monday. When I said I need to change my rain shower head, the estimated price I got was $55. When Tony came in today, he said it has more work than he thought and it will be between $160-200. I got other place $150 and decided to work with him based on $55. Anyway, I accepted to pay it since I really needed it to be done ! He told me he doesn't have necessary tools with him, he will call me in half an hour to an hour to reschedule. Again, I got no call. I called 2 hours later, the lady over the phone told me she will call him let me know. 5 hours later, I called again since I got no call back. She told me she will call me ! When she called, she said Tony said he can't work on that, because he doesn't work on shower heads and faucets ! Really ?! Then why when I called, no one mentioned that ?! Changing shower head is not something I do, but is one of the most basic things a plumber does ! He needs to tell that on the phone at beginning if he really does't work on this staff ! At least, when he came here, not telling me he will reschedule with me in an hour, and then not calling back till next 7 hours and change his word !! Don't waste your time here.
