Went here after a long day of shopping around Strongsville. The staff were super nice and attentive! Since it was a weekday it wasn't very busy which was nice. The place was super clean and I enjoyed the decore, very modern. They had a nice bar which I didn't partake In but they have several margaritas I'd like to try. I got, the veggie tacos with Mexican rice while my sister got the nacho supreme. I was super pleased they had a lot of vegetarian options on their menu! And when I got the Mexican rice the waitress informed me it's made with chicken broth, which was a great thing to know. My daughter wanted some birria tacos so she looked on yelp to find restaurants that serve them. Blue Habanero had them on the menu, so off we went. We were immediately seated upon arrival. Our drink requests were taken and we perused the menu. My daughter and I had birria tacos at another restaurant, but we wanted to try them here as well, so that is what we both requested. My wife requested street tacos. I had a Pacifico beer, which was on draft and served in a frosted mug. The food was made and served quickly. The birria tacos were served with a large bowl of dipping sauce, which was like onion soup. It gave a great flavor and texture to the tacos. They were very good and I'd reqeust them again. Yay Strongsville! So glad some unique and delicious has arrived! I was so excited to try this place out after hearing such great things about their other location. They have completely changed the vibe from the previous B Spot. We started with happy hour margs, I recommend the peach...so yummy and not too sugary/syrup. Very disappointing. Came in on a Monday at 5pm. With the story in today's PD, thought the place would be packed, but only half or so was. Sat at the bar and had a top shelf margarita while I ordered carryout. Marg was good, but too much ice, not enough drink for $15. Got home with the carryout and the disappointment commenced. One of our entrees was missing. Ordered 2 other entrees with different sides, but both were the same. Spicy chicken tortilla soup was missing the spicy, but had a bonus chunk of beef grizzle included. Also, the chips disintegrated into nothing during the 15 minute drive home. Ordered the Carne Asada tacos. Beef had no flavor, no seasoning, and seemed to be made from round steak rather than Skirt steak. Small place that took over the space of the former B Spot. They have some outdoor seating and the front wall opens like a garage door to provide a nice outdoor feel for the whole place. On the night we visited, the weather was around 70° with a small breeze so the room felt perfect. Our waitress was very nice and answered our various questions. Food and drink orders were filled in quick order. We shared two appetizers and a dinner, and we ended up taking home two large to-go containers. Good sized portions. We started with the street corn which had a small bit of zip paired well with the chips. She got steak nachos and she was very happy with the order. Plenty of steak and cheese. If you're not super hungry, this app plus drinks is enough for two for dinner. I had a spicy grilled burrito with chicken. The flavor was good, but I'd prefer a bit more spice heat. Birthday dinner! My husband and I took our 3 kids for a birthday dinner. Was able to be seated right away. Loved the large booths - helped contain the kids. Ordered a margarita flight. Waitress recommended the octopus. Although good the mango margarita was awesome! I would come back for just one of them. Chips and salsa is not provided you have to pay. The salsa is also a bit spicy. Order led quesadillas, chicken fajitas and tacos. All the food was good with great portions. Loved the fresh mix of lettuce/tomato/onion. My partner and I went in for dinner. I explained to the waitress that I was allergic to tomatoes and that if she could make a note so the kitchen knew. She informed me that she would let the kitchen know. We ordered the trio dips, and I asked if the guacamole had tomatoes in it. She replied with no but would also let the kitchen know not to add tomatoes. When it came out, there were tomatoes as garnish and in the guacamole. So I didn't eat it but my boyfriend did. For dinner, we got the Carne asada, chicken tinga, and carnita tacos. I again asked about tomatoes and asked the salsa to be omitted. No where on the menu does it mention tomatoes, which is why I also asked to make sure there wouldn't be any. We eat, we leave, and on our way home, I can feel my lips start to swell. My boyfriend gets me home so I can get meds in me and looks up how everything we ate is prepared from other sites. We had no clue chicken tingas were cooked in tomatoes. It isn't on the menu, but I even asked our waitress, and she said nothing had tomatoes in it.  I emailed the restaurant and sent them the same pictures, letting them know what happened. NO RESPONSE. This place is incredible,Damm everything is super yummy I had the Jalapeño Nortenos for appetizer , the spicy Burrito with Ribeye steak totally yummy . Very authentic flavor profile . When friends of mine decided to grab lunch at this new establishment I knew I had been to the other location in Ohio City. I tried to be open minded but when it was happy hour and the restaurant is empty I knew it wasn't a good sign. We grabbed some "happy hour" beverages and waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We ordered our meals when everyone arrived and my friend's meal and mine was missing a key ingredient. I had to ask the server for it.I hate asking for a side of something when it was suppose to be in my dish. We finished our meals and recieved our bills. We door dashed 3 types of tacos: shredded beef, cauliflower and white fish. They were all very good, the cauliflower and beef were our favorite. So flavorful and tasty. The fish ones were also good, tons of fish. I liked the cilantro rice, it's like chipotles but better- lighter and fluffier and not sticky/hard/chunky. The pickled carrots (I think that's what it was) were awesome on top, they gave sauce and some chopped onions too. There was another tub of dark sauce I wasn't sure what it was or what to do with it lol. It tasted good whatever it was. The side of veggies was a little bland maybe that's what the sauce was for? We enjoyed our first visit here. The decor is nice and bright and colorful with high and low tops and booths. We got sat right away. We started with a margarita for me and a draft Modelo for my dinner date. We just made happy hour so it was slightly cheaper. I wish that there was the option to mix and match, but each order is 3 of the same taco. These are in the style of Mexican street tacos, so very simple and short list of ingredients. They were served with sides of hot sauce (very hot!), chopped onion and cilantro, and shredded carrots with pickled onions. My tacos Al pastor were delicious. Very flavorful and nice variety of texture. I opted for a side of refried beans which were very, very smoky. I'm still not sure if I liked them. My date enjoyed his carnitas as well. We agreed that the tres leches cake was just okay. Neither of us thought that the service was particularly great. I stopped at a place around the corner from here looked at their menu and knew it wasn't what I was looking for when I stumbled upon Blue Habanero I landed in the perfect spot, this place is EXCELLENT! if you live locally definitely give this place a try! I plan on stopping back before I head home next week. Steak Fajitas are delicious, Cadillac Margaritas are perfect, if I lived nearby this would be a regular place for me. Food is seasoned perfectly, not overly salted, drinks are mixed well. I ended up ordering the steak fajitas, enough for two and perfectly cooked and a Cadillac margarita. It made my day after work on Mother's Day, solo. If you have been to Mexico this is a must try, tacos are not spicy in Mexico. Dare I say it is better than the flight to Mexico? Yes, it is!! I am not sure why you would go here when there are actual good Mexican places in the area. We've been here about 3 or 4 times because we thought we might find something on the menu that was good and wanted to give it another shot. I tried a lot of different tacos (I can't remember their names) and the ingredients were all pretty bland, I am not sure if they forgot the seasoning or maybe toned it down for Ohio folks? Queso and guac are nothing special either. We also tried one of their burritos, also not great. Tried this place for the first time on Valentine's Day. Food was very expensive for the quality of food you get. So many other options that are more authentic for better price. We tried the birria tacos, and they were extremely soggy, almost falling apart before even being picked up. The only seasoning I could taste was salt. The carnitas taco was literally just meat. Nothing else. A huge amount of dry and flavorless meat. The "hard" shelled tacos were soft as paper, and very bland. Simply not good. Don't know how this place has so many good reviews, but to each their own. I'm very disappointed by this place; bland, boring and expensive food. Like 1.50 each and full of all the goodies inside the tacos and this place is making mediocre "street" tacos with barely any filling and charging 14$ for 3 and in LA our prices are way higher than cleveland so I just happen to find this HILARIOUS that they are over charging for this food.
