The following day I opened the box and found that the slice of veggie pizza had a bite taken out of the front of the pizza (see pictures). Really gross that this happened. It is possibly the smallest Pizza my Heart restaurant I have been to but the menu is the same and the staff were friendly. Being that it is smaller, wait times may be a bit longer. This review is for multiple TGTG orders... Super easy check in process. Each slice runs about $6-$8. Theyre super generous with toppings and the slices of pizza are GINORMOUS. It's kind of small inside the establishment, but still worth enjoying a pie in. Bunch of young kids more interested in talking with each other than treating customers or being friendly. As for the pizza. Was tasteless , bland and really not worth the time money it took to order. Big Sur - This pizza came with 40 cloves of roasted garlic, red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, portobello mushrooms and green onion. This was probably my favorite out of all that we ordered. Watsonville Apple - This pizza came with green apple slices, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, green onions, Gorgonzola cheese, olive oil and garlic. First time I saw this pizza, I was pretty skeptical as I really didn't know what to expect in terms of flavor. Also, I am generally not used to and am not really a big fan of fruit slices on my pizza (sorry Hawaiian pizza). However, it turned out to be a really nice pizza with a very balanced flavor. I couldn't really taste apple, and the Gorgonzola really elevated this pizza and added a unique flavor, and I thought the amount of gorgonzola they put there was perfect and was not too overpowering. Fort Point - This pizza came with light tomato and pesto sauce, Roma tomatoes, chicken, ricotta cheese, sausage, artichoke hearts, basil and some herbs. This pizza was delicious, but compared to the other two that we ordered, I would probably rank this at the bottom because the other two were far more superior and unique in my opinion. The pizza was laden with copious amounts of cheese (to the point of being disgusting) and only a "drizzle" of sauce going in circles around the pizza. Was it supposed to be a work of art??? I think they have it backwards. You coat the dough with SAUCE first and then "sprinkle" the cheese over it!!! The only customization I asked for was "thin crust" and they didn't even get THAT right. Ordered to-go and had no issues! We got two 14'' pizzas for 4 people which was a great amount: the D'Lex Chicken & Bacon Pizza and the Doheny Sweet Heat. The Doheny Sweet Heat was my favorite of the two. The ricotta was super creamy and the pepperoni added the perfect level of saltiness. I wish there was more honey as I barely got the sweetness. The peppers added nice texture! The D'Lex Chicken & Bacon Pizza. I thought this was a solid white pizza.
