Very nice staff, some decent selection on the bagel side, though there was a bit of staleness as well. The cream cheese, like the bagels there, are all created on-site and are excellent. There is a good selection of the usual bagel fixin's and a lot of options for bagel sandwiches. Taste was excellent on both the bagel and the cream cheese, though if you go for a double smear, it can be very difficult to eat while driving. There is also kombucha on tap, which is well worth enjoying. It's a cool little spot and nice for a change of pace or a quick bite. read more

Blue Sky is wonderful on two counts: they have the most awesome bagels and they are great part of our community. I especially like their blueberry bagels because they taste so fresh. I've tried other blueberry bagels that the local grocery stores have they taste gummy. These are fresh and fruity. Very tasty. I do agree with other people that you should ask staff to run the bagels through the toaster twice if you want a real toasted bagel. Do that and ask for coffee and you'll be in heaven. Also, Blue Sky is a great community supporter. They have supported the Meridian High School Track & Field program for 2 years now, and given our kids fresh bagels to sell at our JV track meet. They have allowed us to fundraise for entry fees and for getting to events at a time where every penny counts. There are few other local businesses who care about their community as much as Blue Sky. So, my family makes a point to support them when we're in the local area. Help those who help our community. Blue Sky is great. read more

Another VERY satisfied customer as usual!!! This however was my first one getting the bagel sandwich and it was AMAZING!! I had the Asiago cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese, chicken breast, Swiss cheese, avocado, deli mustard, tomato & sprouts! FANTASTIC!!! My girlfriend had bacon, egg & cheddar on a wheat bagel with jalapeño cream cheese! Again knocked it out of the park and we are already deciding on what we will have next! We decided to visit Meridian again because we just love the area and of course had to stop in and get breakfast on the way back. It was again, so delicious!!! Almost 2 years after our first trip up here... the coffee was still excellent, the bagels are absolutely amazing (one of the BEST bagel places I've had outside the NJ/NY area (I'm from the greater NY area in NJ)). We will be back again after our daughter is born and I cannot wait to come back here have breakfast! Also, the service is simply excellent. Everyone is smiling and genuine. Unfortunately, this is another example of a great place that has gone horribly downhill. It is sad that when bagels are to be toasted that they come out soft and gummy with no color change on the bagel implying toasting. It is also disappointing that the consistency is poor enough that my bagel had loads of cream cheese making it disgusting to eat, and my wife's bagel had so little cream cheese that when the halves were separated there were dry spots. The sun-dried tomato cream cheese used taste like sun-dried tomato and actually had tomato bits in it. Today's sun-dried tomato cream cheese tasted like black pepper and had no sun-dried tomatoes in it. I also used to be able to taste bacon in the bacon scallion cream cheese. But all I tasted today was salt. I am starting to rethink my loyalty to Blue Sky Bagels. There are other bagel shops in town. Albertsons sells some too and unfortunately those taste much better than the ones I was served. read more

Mmmm delicious bagel sandwiches. Same deal as the Boise one--fill up your own Dawson Taylor coffee. Got 2 today: a ham and a turkey ($4.95 each). All the veggies / cream cheese / condiments are included in the sandwich price. Which starts at around $4. The onion bagel sat on my desk tempting me into taking an early lunch. People work fast and you are in & out in less than 10 min. Personally though, I like Panera bread bagels better because the flavor is better.... not sure if Boise has one. But I think the cream cheese at Blue Sky tastes better. read more

I always love going to blue sky for a Saturday breakfast. However this time there was an older woman that seemed to be really bossing around her co-workers and undermining them in front of customers. I don't know if she was a manager or not but she wasn't a pleasant person. I'm pretty sure she flustered the gal that was making my sandwich to the point of messing up my order. Lots of great choices to please most anyone. I love the parmasean or asiago with herb and garlic cream cheese. Kids love The cinnamon and sugar bagels. We usually get a dozen and keep for the week. Even when they are busy you are in and out of there quickly. Always had friendly staff. read more

This is definitely the place to go for bagels--they have all kinds of flavors! I usually get the wheat or cinnamon raisin. The cream cheese is special and they have several flavors of that. It's very fluffy and creamy--the honey walnut and of course plain are both really good. I've never tried any sandwiches here as I usually take the bagels home. They will even slice the bagels for you which is a nice touch! read more

I love this bagel shop. They have the best bagels in town but this review is strictly based on their service. I used to live downtown and go to blue sky regularly. I have since moved closer the the eagle location and the service is just not the same. I recently went in for a bagel and it took me over 25 minutes to get one. There were only 10 or so people in front of me but it took me 15 minutes to even order and another 10 to receive my bagel. That is just ridiculous to me. The eagle location moves so slow that it has soured my experience with them even though I love their bagels. The downtown location was so fast, if I was 10th in line I would be in the front within 2 minutes. They have enough people working and get everyone served in a timely manor. I can't say the same about the eagle location. They are always busy on the weekends but never have enough people serving and those who are moving very slowly. I want to continue coming here for bagels but something needs to be done about the speed at which they move through customers. There's is absolutely no reason I should be waiting over 25 minutes to get a bagel. Please fix this issue Blue sky! read more

Had one of the best breakfast sandwiches of all time. The bagels were super fresh, the choices were bountiful, and the cream cheeses were delicious. Had to grab a monstrous cranberry cookie for dessert. This will be one of my new favorite breakfast spots! read more
