    My burger with bacon.

Was in the area on a day trip. Came upon this place and decided to give it a try. Loved my burger. But I especially LOVED this potatoes that came with the burger. Loved Samantha (our server). Had a nice view of the water from, our inside table. It was just an overall pleasant experience. If on the area, I would return,.

This place needs to be higher on the list. The food is great. Very flavorful and a wide variety on the menu which is really appreciated. Service was very friendly, our waitress was super attentive. Restaurant has a great location overlooking the water. Overall, I really recommend this place!

The views are perfect! You can't get much better than this. Service was good. My only complaint is that that Everything Bagel description was not accurate. I was told (after receiving my order, and only after I inquired) that they no longer have micro greens. (That's partially what sold me on this bagel!) I wish the wait staff would have told me when I ordered. I also didn't expect it to be a deconstructed bagel. I don't mind that so much, but it should be clearer in the description. It shouldn't take long to update that on the website. On the other hand, the poached egg that I ordered separately was perfectly cooked! Kudos to the cook!

We visited Blue Sky for lunch on a sunny day. Both of us enjoyed a bowl of New England clam chowder. The chowder was topped with croutons, creamy and full of small clam pieces. We also each enjoyed a glass of white wine that paired really well with the soup. Tip: The view of the Morro Rock and the Marina is a lovely setting to enjoy a water-side meal :-) Service was prompt & friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the food and beauty of the venue.

As always, I want to start with the good things - as a solo diner sometimes it's hard to get a table I like or want to sit at in this case they seated me at a perfect table. I was outside with a view of the water and had an umbrella for shade. It was perfect. They did let me know when I arrived that their fryer was broken so they didn't have normal beach options like fish and chips or fries but luckily I was there for a late brunch and they offer breakfast items until 2 PM. One of the highlights was the service I did receive from the hostess not only did she see me she brought me my water and coffee. She brought me two types of creamer when I didn't communicate what I wanted in the right way (I blame needing the coffee lol but she was so patient!). She also checked on me, refilled my coffee and went to get my waiter when I was ready for the check as far as I'm concerned the waiter only brought me my food and then the check afterwards when I was done and the hostess grabbed him. So I didn't really have a waiter but more of a food runner. To be honest though the biggest issue was the food. I ordered a seafood Benedict. However, the English muffin wasn't made properly so it got soggy very quickly. I don't believe it was even toasted. The shrimp and crab were generous portions big plus. Unfortunately the kitchen didn't give those proteins any love. The entire eggs Benedict dish needed salt and seasoning of every kind and the seafood needed lemon and dressing to bring it to life. The hollandaise sauce was just so bland and the country potatoes weren't fried enough so the skins were just chewy and inedible. I ended up just picking out the seafood and eating it directly. Also the poached eggs were perfectly done not too runny or overdone big plus. Overall between the mixed service and the meh food I'm giving this 5 stars. I'm hopeful their lunch options are better (when the fryer is working) and will go back to give them another shot at dinner - the views are definitely worth it if the food is better.

We are a family of six, and we came for an early dinner. We ate outside on the patio. We shared cups of clam chowder, salsa, guacamole and chips, and a shrimp cocktail as appetizers. The shrimp cocktail consisted of the smallest baby shrimp I've ever seen. It was a mixture of baby shrimp, bits of celery mixed in cocktail sauce. I wouldn't order again. The soup was good as was our other appetizer. We all ordered a different main course which we each didn't like. The waiter was very nice. It cost me $350 for the view.

Stopped off here for a little something to snack on and a drink. It was still early so place wasn't that busy yet. Location is great as it's right along the waterfront with the view of the marina and water. As well as the main attraction, the morro bay rock. We didn't have a full meal just the clam chowder in sourdough bowl. Which was quite nice. Perfect for a little chilly day. Drink wise, wanted the Bloody Mary but they didn't have vodka. So it was made differently but was ok. There's not a full bar hence substituting the vodka. Overall, location was amazing. Nice for an afternoon drink enjoying the view. Service was nice with friendly staff. Downfall, they don't have a full bar.

I never leave yelp reviews. This is the best clam chowder in a sourdough bowl I've ever had. That is all.

The Rock, with poached eggs on biscuits with gravy - plus fresh fruit and roasted potatoes.

There was also parking right in front, with no line, which was convenient. I wanted something fried, but when I saw that they use canola oil, I decided to go with the salmon tacos instead. Salmon isn't exactly a local fish, but it's usually a safe bet, especially when it's fresh frozen. I got the salmon tacos, which came as two tacos on two tortillas. The salmon was topped with a little cabbage and tomato, melted cheese, and what seemed to be some onion and cilantro. They also included a small serving of salsa. Overall, they were decent, but not the best salmon tacos I've had. One thing that was a little annoying was that some of the salmon had the dark "bloodline" still attached. I usually scrape that off because I find that part of the fish more bitter and strongly flavored. That's especially awkward with tacos because you're trying to remove it from pieces of fish that are already in the taco. I've had salmon tacos elsewhere where that part had been trimmed off, so there was nothing to deal with. No bones, though. The tacos were a little pricey at just over $20 with tax, but you're in a tourist area and it's California, so that wasn't exactly surprising. They made for a decent meal, and sitting outside was pleasant.

On a quick day trip on a Friday afternoon, we decided to give this place a try. No reservation and were promptly greeted and seated. Although we did not have a full bay view, we had a partial bay view. Some hits and misses with food and service. 1. Bowl of Clam Chowder (no bread bowls available). Chowder was piping hot and had nice pieces of clams (dad got a bit of clam shell..so be careful), celery and potatoes. The chowder was very creamy and not grainy or watery like other locations. I would definitely order again 5/5 2. Fish & Chips: Fresh Pacific cod, lightly breaded, served with house-made tartar sauce. Fish was fried to perfection. 5/5 3. Seafood Pasta: Linguini with jumbo prawns, fresh catch, Cajun cream sauce, garlic bread. Everything tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly 5/5 4. Side of Garlic bread: extremely disappointing. We ordered garlic bread with our chowder, it never came. Waitress decided to serve it with the mains (fish and chips) and we ordered for the entire table and she only brought 2 pieces. 5. Insalata Molina: Mixed greens, arugula, pear, walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, mango vinaigrette. Couldn't tell you if this was any good bc the waitress NEVER brought but charged us for it. She then takes it off the bill and brings me the salad in a Styrofoam container. I told her I didn't want it and put it in my bag. Salad was so soggy (which means the kitchen prepared it and the waitress forgot to serve it) I would not order and do not recommend ordering it bc it was the size of a side salad definitely not worth the price point. 6. Mocktail Lavender lemonade: definitely not balanced, was pretty tart and again the price point was off. It was about 8oz lemonade for $12 They do offer a nice selection of wines. Restrooms are located outside the restaurant and are public restrooms, pretty dirty and out of stock. Although our service was a big miss, I do recommend the food items we ordered. I did take a star off due to the service.

When we entered the dog-friendly patio with our little Goldendoodle, Bailey, a large dog seated at the table closest to the only patio entrance lunged toward her and bared its teeth. They immediately spoke with the owners, who moved their dogs farther under the table, and after our meal, the owner's father went above and beyond by opening the rope barriers so we could exit another way and avoid walking past them again. Both the father and son were incredibly kind, understanding, and accommodating, which we really appreciated. Once we were settled, we were able to enjoy the beautiful patio. It's a quaint waterfront spot with gorgeous views, a relaxing atmosphere, and the perfect setting to enjoy fresh seafood. Bailey was promptly brought a complimentary bowl of water, and we loved seeing so many other well-behaved dogs enjoying the patio. The sauce and crab cakes were amazing, the steamers (with the broth!!!!) is something you would want to taste and experience for yourself. the servers here do a very good job and our server was Cathy who was AMAZING. We stopped here on our way to Morro Bay every time and have a meal here. It's never a disappointment. If you come here a little bit before the dinner hour you can always sit and watch the rock on the bay. It's a nice ambience and don't forget you can bring your dog.

The lobster bisque was just as good as other reviews said. My fav was the baked scallops. The steak and lobster was ok but was served warm. It took a while to get my soup aa a starter. While waiting I noticed my scallops were waiting on the counter to be picked up. A few minutes after my soup was served my scallops came. I hadn't finished my soup did the main entrée was served (everything from steak, lobster and veggies were warm). I supect the entree was ready for a while but wasn't served because i hadn't been served the soup. Outside of the timing of the food, I enjoyed the food and would come back
