I wish I had come here sooner. As much as we come to Sergio's and I used to frequent Taylors, I'm kicking myself for skipping Bluefish Grill. When my mom was around, she told me she came here with a friend. Hubby and I came here on a lunch date, Inside is a small space of tables, there was a waitress and a guy behind that was making sushi. When the sushi takes time to make, you know it's going to be delicious. I've been to other sushi spots and the rolls would come out rather quickly. We decided to start off with the Japanese fried squid on a stick. They were baby squid I had to ask thinking it was a full size squid. For the roles my husband chose the Playboy and I chose the Coco Mango which we both split. I thoroughly enjoyed the fried squid on a stick It was nice and crisp on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It comes with three in the appetizer so if there's two of you just split the 3rd. When our roles came out they Showed great presentation. I was nervous with the fish on top of the Playboy role because I'm not used to eating that type of sushi and I think it has to do with texture. I don't know what I was so afraid of because it was the most tender piece of fish and melted in my mouth. Out of the two roles the Playboy was my favorite one the fish on top was soft, All of the flavors were Prominent and you didn't feel like it was getting lost. I'm sure we could have ordered a third roll but it was getting close to their closing time at 2:00. I ordered a hot green tea and it came out with its own teapot which I absolutely loved. I'm just upset with myself that it took me forever to get here. My husband and I have already talked about when we come back some of the other options we plan to try and I'm really looking forward to it

I've been meaning to try a new food spot and recently came across this restaurant. It was highly recommended by a close friend and honestly I was not disappointed at all. Very cozy ambiance and the service was very good. I had the mabo ramen but ended up substituting the pork belly for beef and it was AMAZING! I really want to try the other ramen bowls and their sushi because there was such a lovely variety to choose from. This is definitely going to be my favorite local food spot from here on out!

Bluefish Grill is a small, cozy spot with a laid-back atmosphere. If you're looking for something trendy or Instagrammable, this may not be the place but it's clean, comfortable, and perfect if you're focused on enjoying good food. I was craving sushi, and my husband found this restaurant. I ordered the tempura sushi with a side of fries, and he had the fried squid on a skewer , calamari as an appetizer and the dragon roll with eel. Everything was flavorful and fresh we both really enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

The food is so good! Definitely, order at the counter and sit outside. The porch is so nice! I ordered two portions and that was a lot more food than I could eat! :)

Cute little restaurant, but definitely not suitable for a larger party as space is limited. My husband and I were seated at a small table in between other tables near their refrigerator and anyone walking by was near-bumping-elbows distance from us. Food is a hit or miss depending on what you order. My husband ordered a plate of sushi and I ordered their Chicken Karaage. His sushi were big and tasted delicious. My food was okay, run of the mill and nothing special. Lastly, we ordered a chocolate/strawberry cake dessert. This was very tasty. Despite the sushi tasting great and large proportions, I don't rate this place higher because not everything tasted great and the price was expensive for what you're getting. It's good if you plan on eating sushi and/or dessert with 2-4 people, but nothing outside of that.

Went on a Monday night, it was nice and quiet. The lady was super sweet and friendly. I can tell the man knows how to cook. I got SHRIMP TEMPURA UDON NOODLE. Delicious and flavorful. They offer wine, beer, sake.

Food was great and service was excellent! A hole in the wall must go to sushi spot. Sushi took about 45 mins, there was about 3 other tables being served as well

Pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed this restaurant. From the quiet atmosphere to the casual plates, this was well done and exactly the vibe I seek on a Saturday night. I had a great set of meals for a good price. The rice was really good and the portions are quite large for a hungry adult. You can't go wrong here. I look forward to more visits!

Came out here to catch up with a friend and suggested this spot. Saw the soft shell crab and knew that was already a must. We did an early lunch so we were the first people there when they opened up. We got front seatings on their outside patio because it was just so gorgeous. Service was pretty quick and then staff was friendly. I wanted to get an order of sushi to go but they said that they didn't serve them to go so...I had to be a champion and eat my craving right then and there. Lol. Their soft shell crab sandwich was perfect and their fries were fresh and had that perfect crunch to it. It was really great and I slightly regret not ordering one to go for the hubby.

The Suna roll is our favorite, the soft shell crab dinner and seared tuna salad are highly recommended too. The service is fantastic.

I ordered the steak hibachi, and while it was okay, the steak was a bit more overcooked than I would have preferred. The gyoza was definitely the best thing we had for lunch. The location itself was really cute, and I liked the vibe and ambiance. However, it was suuuper hot inside the building, which made it a little uncomfortable to sit and eat, especially while eating hot hibachi. The service was fine for the most part, but there was one interaction that felt a little awkward. Since we didn't finish all of our food, one of the staff members asked if we liked it. We told her yes, but she made a face, looked down at our plates, said "hmm," and then took them away. It was a small interaction, but it definitely felt a little strange and left us wondering if she didn't believe us lol. Nothing about the experience was necessarily bad, but between the overcooked steak, how hot it was inside, and the slightly awkward interaction, it landed right around a 3/5 for me. Cute spot, decent portions, and really good gyoza, but there's definitely some room for improvement.
