I was in the area meeting up with family and had some time to kill. I was thirsty and wanted some AC, so I stepped into Bluestone for a drink. I wasn't in the mood for a coffee, having already had 2 that day, so I got a matcha. They prebatch their matcha, which made my heart sink the moment I saw it. I knew it would be bad. When I got my drink, I saw the color, and I knew it wouldn't be good. Yup, it was not good. BItter, bland, and truly sad. If someone who had never had good matcha before had this as their first one, I can see why they would hate it. read more

Had a croissant, avocado mash, and lemon tonic. Lemon tonic was very good. Croissant and avocado mash were good as well, however a sticker was left in my avocado mash, so look out for that if you ever get it. read more

I came here for some light breakfast and coffee as they open at 6:30. I ordered the beet latte, which I've not seen before. They use beet powder. Interesting, for sure. I also ordered the breakfast burritos, which was a little disappointing. It's small and the egg and cheese in it reminds me Of what you get at some hotels for breakfast. I would skip this next time. Conveniently located in Times Square near port authority. Grabbed a cappucino yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see how large and spacious it was on the inside. Great seating, bright, serene aesthetics, and quite peaceful for a busy location. Cappucino was OK. Not the best I've had but OK. For whole milk it should have been foamier and not as strong. Meh! I came here because it was close to my hotel for coffee. While incredibly clean, it didn't have the coffeehouse warm and welcoming feeling that I enjoy. Bluestone felt very sterile as in a hospital setting which was a turn off. The big windows were nice for natural lighting but the menu, service, and drink didn't cut it for me. My vanilla latte felt like a milkshake having so much milk in it that I ended up getting a normal coffee elsewhere. read more

This is a cute coffee shop located in Times Square and is a great place to people watch. I ordered a medium latte ($5.25) and a sunshine burrito ($9.75). The latte was the perfect pick-me-up on a rainy day. The sunshine burrito was good and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh, but the size was a lot smaller than I expected; it was more like a breakfast wrap. The egg was cooked perfectly, but the bacon could've been a little bit crispier. read more

I used to come here all the time, but my last few visits, specifically the last one, have been disappointing. I ordered an iced latte and their smoked salmon toast. The latte was fine. I found the espresso flavor to be a little light, so the milk was overwhelming. My toast was lacking in lots of things. There was no dill, which is listed as an ingredient. The cream cheese was spread on too thick and there was barely any smoked salmon. The flavor was like a bad Lox bagel and I would not order it again, even though this used to be one of my favorites! The wait for the toast was also wayyyy too long for what it was. The food here usually takes 10 minutes to come out. While I would come back here in a pinch, there are much better coffee shops in the area. read more

Overall 5/5 stars! I had the Aussie Iced Latte with Oatmilk and my friend had a Cold Brew with Vanilla Syrup! The service was relatively fast, and the staff was really friendly and informative. The Aussie Iced Latte is chilled with the ice cream, so I did take a risk with this drink, but it was so worth it! I would say give the drink a good swirl to get the full flavor, but I absolutely loved it & I'm glad I tried an Aussie Iced Latte for the first time here. This location is right across the Port Authority terminal, but it is a little bit tucked away, so definitely look for it and give it a try! It's pretty quiet & is a bit more spacious than I thought it would be but the tables are pretty small/mostly 2-people seaters. read more

The Australia game was playing the other day and I passed by this Aussie cafe. It's right on the corner. Very convenient that it's right across the street from the Port Authority. Beautiful space and decor. The inside is so clean & bright. I ordered an Aussie latte with oat milk. It was delicious! I'm upset that they were closing because I would have loved to stay and tried out the sweets available. Next time I will for sure come earlier. The only thing that drew me back was that the barista looked annoyed at me for coming in 15 minutes before closing. I understand; however I tried to lighten the mood by starting a conversation and got ignored. Maybe they were having a bad day! read more

This is cute place...different than the bigger chain coffee places around. Very clean inside. We wanted to try a Local coffee bar and choose this place. The tall guy making the coffee took our order and a girl in the back only made the food orders. We got our coffee right away and just had to wait for our breakfast burrito to be made which is understandable. The girl brought out the food as she made them if nobody came up to claim it then she'd leave it on the counter. There were several names that were called but we just patiently waited. She made 2 burritos, handed one to a regular there. She left the other one on the side. Seeing her calling out others after this I finally went up to her asking if she would be working the "Sunshine burrito". This was the burrito she set to the side earlier, so she grabs it to hand to me. She goes on to tell me I should have told the guy making coffee that he needed to give me my burrito. I am staring at her with the look of WTH?!?!!! Im thinking I am the customer and I do not know what they are making since they are nicely wrapped so you cant see what is in it. I was in total shock that she put my burrito aside and doesn't call my name, but calls out everyone else when their order is ready. Yet I am supposed to have known this was my burrito. read more

Not a bad breakfast! I got the bacon egg and cheese on croissant with cold brew. The only knock was the cheese wasn't spread across the sandwich so it was all clumped on one side and the bites without it were definitely missing it. I would definitely come back to try their other options read more

Being an Aussie expat, it's hard to pass a Bluestone Lane and not buy something so of course I found myself at the Times Square location today. Avocado Toast was cooked to perfection, the crunchy multigrain bread was decadently topped with an egg and soft avocado. I personally prefer my eggs cooked a little harder but by default they are runny (remember to ask when you order). Berries and Peanut Butter Smoothie Also delicious but not thick, you can also substitute peanut butter for Almond Milk if you prefer. 4/5 I love the teas they have too, they are teabags but good quality silk ones that taste just like a brewed pot. Definitely stop buy. I'd recommend ordering ahead online because they can be slow. read more

This location is situated right across from the PABT location with a ramp leading into the store. It's cute, poshy and chic. It's a clean location and the atmosphere is very cozy. I really wanted to LOVE this place. It is well lit, spacious, clean and well maintained, and the staff was very friendly. The food and coffee is where they miss the mark for me. A friend ordered the iced mocha and I ordered a vanilla iced latte (FYI at the time they only have vanilla flavor) and we just did not enjoy how it was made. Not much flavor and too much milk in both drinks. Also the avocado in my avocado toast did not taste very fresh. They were a bit slow too, as we waited a good while for just a few things, but I can see based on other reviews that this is typical. This place is also very pricey, so you'd think they'd be on it with the quality but they missed the mark. I'm sure you can find better coffee and toast for a cheaper price elsewhere. read more

Does anyone else run into the issue where almost every matcha latte they have ever gotten tastes practically entirely like milk? Was getting tired of paying a matcha latte price for MILK and a sprinkle of matcha powder, but not here!!! Bluestone Lane's hot matcha latte is quite literally one of the only three places I've found in NYC that is not stingy with their matcha powder. I got the smallest size (6 oz) for about $5. It tasted so rich, had the perfect amount of sweetness, and the size felt just right for me --- it wasn't too much that I got tired of it. Clean, bright, & spacious location near port authority. Tried a djerf vanilla iced coffee and a matcha latte. This iced coffee tasted a bit watered down and not much vanilla flavor. Not sweet. I'd probably stick to the hot lattes. Iced drinks taste watered down. I tried to use my reward for free drink and found out later they charged my card $2.50 for the matcha latte! The cashier (young teenager looking guy) asked me what size and i said large & I mentioned I was redeeming my reward. He said sure no problem and my balance showed zero on the register. He didn't seem to know anything about the coffees. I asked which wellness drink was caffeinated. He had no idea. I asked about what was in the beet latte, no idea. He relied on another barista. While the location may be convenient the staff needs help and bluestone is deceiving with rewards. If the value is only $4.50 maybe the cashier should have informed me it would cost extra. Btw the "large" size was more like a small/medium. Save your money. Try another coffee spot. No restrooms. read more

I never expected I'd be able to get that neighborhood coffee shop feel at a global chain coffee shop in Times Square but Eric, and many of the rest of his colleagues, have proven me wrong. The coffee's delicious and the food's great. It ain't cheap but nothing is around here. And honestly, it's mainly Eric and his fellow baristas that keep me coming back. read more

Nice clean location with tons of natural light, located right across the street from Port Authority. There are no outlets anywhere, so might not be the best place to work and sip/eat. read more
