Bluewater is right on Redlands but you have to park near Wendy's then walk over on the sidewalk to it. Thank God for GPS or we may not be able to find it. BW is a small boutique poke joint, only 2 tables inside and one round table outside. You may have to order to-go due to limited seating capacity. We got here in the nick of time. The line went outside the door as we were ordering our food. Our poke looked nice but I find both proteins and sauces lacking in flavors. I am not sure how it got its 4.5 stats rating. First time trying BlueWater. Overall, I would say it's an above average poke spot. Their fish is fresh and they offer a wide variety of choices including marinated Hawaiian tuna and blue crab. Their toppings are creative including crushed flamin hot Cheetos for those that like to live dangerously! For the drink, we tried a winter melon milk tea with boba. The staff seemed friendly. I ordered a large but the portion size and the servings of fish were pretty small. Staff didn't even knock all the fish out and did the cup. I try to have poke about once a week and this was as small or smaller than most medium size bowls I get. Not cheap either, you are paying for a large portion. While my wife was pregnant with our second baby, all she craved was poke and sushi. There were days when she would stare longingly at the spicy ahi poke and tuna rolls we were eating while she sulked in silenced and nibbled on her fish-less, mercury free California roll. She gave me very strict instructions that the first meal she wanted post-birth was poke. Although I could not make that happen as she went into labor at night and they fed her hospital cafeteria food, the next morning, I perused Yelp and found Bluewater Poke. I arrived as soon as they opened at 11:00 AM and beat the rush. We went with the three protein choice bowl and went with the spicy ahi, Hawaiian-style ahi, and the octopus on top of a bed of brown rice (other options included white rice, salad, half and half). Other protein choices included shrimp, salmon, tofu, blue crab, just to name a few. When I arrived with our order, my wife was so excited to see that they stuffed the bowl full. What surprised us was that the Hawaiian-style was very flavorful and the closest thing we found so far that is like the poke you find in Hawaii (now if only they sold poke by the pound). We have been back multiple times since our first visit and love how consistent they are. The best part is when they give sauce on the side so you can use the delicious tamaniku sauce and spicy mayo sauce on other things such as chicken or salad dressing. read more

We ordered 2 Poké bowls for lunch today. My coworkers bowl had one of the ugliest Avocados I've ever seen- it was rotten. I can't believe the worker actually thought it was okay to use that avocado? This is the only poke place I know of that has the option of blue crab as a protein. They have plenty of delicious protein options but this place has blue crab which almost all poke places do not. It's for an additional cost more but so worth it. I also enjoy their salmon and spicy salmon which always tastes fresh. They also have tuna, shrimp, tofu, and even octopus. You can do brown rice, white rice, salad, or half and half. There are so many types of toppings and a huge variety of sauces. Everything I have tried is so good. And all of my friends who have gone have enjoyed this place. The scoops do run on a smaller side but their pricing is so cheap. I usually go to 3 scoops and it is barely enough for me. It's cheaper than most poke places. 5 scoops is less than $14. Service is quick. It's a grab and go place and not really a place to dine in. I usually order ahead of time and they keep your bowl fresh in the fridge until you come pick it up. The people behind the counter are very nice and work quick. I used to stop in fairly often, and I was never disappointed, but I cannot say that I have had a good experience here since the old owners left. Everything has been effected by this change so it seems. I used to see familiar faces each time I came in, and they made great quality bowls and drinks. Those employees have since left, portions are now very small and not worth the price (in my opinion), poor quality of products (if there is product), and the service is no longer great.
