( -1 star ) are waiter named Kaia was the best! She came and greeted all of us with Thanksgiving smiles and told us about her thanksgiving! She pored us water and even left a huge bottle full of water! (+1 star) Kaia Immediately came to us when ever we needed something! ( +1 star ) what really made me happy was that they had diet sprite! In all my history of restaurants, none had Diet Sprite! ( +1 star ) the menu had so many options! I had trouble choosing. Wow, my experience at BLVD has turned a complete 180! I had such a pleasant dining experience after an amazing customer service experience with Nikki and her team. My family and I got to sit outside in the beautiful weather and our waitress, Veronica, was so attentive and kind. I ordered the Grilled Salmon and it was so amazing. So flavorful and filling - I had to take some home! Others in my family had the Jambalaya and the Cioppino, all of which were completely cleaned off the plate. Kudos to the kitchen! I completed my meal with the Creme Brûlée which was the perfect size for sharing (or for eating alone, hehe). I loved this experience at BLVD and will definitely be returning!! read more

Great food. Been here for dinner and now brunch. Had the chicken and waffle special and the chicken was dynomite! Our server was on the ball grabbing refills and the foos came out quick. The staff has always been super helpful, and attentive, even when really busy. It it's really nice inside, kind of dark. They have a patio but I have never used it. It can get loud when it's busy, but it isn't too bad. read more

Nice decor, good outdoor space, decent food. BLVD fits in nicely with the other suburban restaurants around Minnetonka but tends toward the more trendy side. The decor is quite nice, both inside and out and there is a lot of space. They kindly provide free wi-fi so those of us obsessed with our smart phones can research and read in between sips of wine. The signal is a bit weak on the patio but hey, it's free. Unfortunately Happy Hour ends at 5:00pm. What? HH was created to serve the working man and alleviate our stress after a long day. Apparently BLVD missed the memo and is choosing to cater to the retired and home CEO crew. Whatever. During my most recent experience at BLVD, we had the sweet potato fries, a side of lobster mac n' cheese, the baked Brie, and a variety of wine by the glass. The fries were tasty and came with a nice dipping sauce. The flavor of the mac n' cheese was good but the almost complete lack of lobster was really disappointing. Only two chunks in our dish does not a lobster mac make. The menu also did not state that it came with raw tomatoes, which kinda took away from the dish. Sad. The server brought out our baked Brie burnt and stated that we could either accept it as is or it could take some time to make a new one. Really? If you know you messed up the food, don't serve it. Have you no pride? No respect for your customers? No good restaurant chooses to serve shitty food. Okay, I'll get off of that rant and talk about the good parts of the experience. I really appreciated how BLVD served their red wine just slightly chilled instead of at room temperature. It shows that they know how to properly store their wine, a skill that many restaurants have not yet learned. Kudos to their bar manager. Aside from the Brie debacle, our server did a great job of keeping our glasses full, checking on us enough, and making us laugh with his friendly nature. All of this on a sunny outdoor patio made for a relaxing experience. While I won't be rushing back to BLVD, it'll definitely stay on my list of possibilities when I'm in the Minnetonka area. I'd like to try some additional dishes and more of their delicious wine. read more

Four stars for their delicious Caeser salad with salmon and their happy hour food menu. I've been here numerous times since I wrote my last review and love the food now. The happy hour food that stands out is the ceviche with tortilla chips, chicken satay and calamari. There are fried lemons that come with the calamari which are interesting to eat! I've been here many times and it's always been a normal experience... but today... A MONDAY OF ALL DAYS... Luke the bartender went out of his way to experiment and make the BEST French martini I've ever had (yes, it's even better than my uncles)! It wasn't on the menu so I didn't expect to get one, but Luke was motivated to meet my needs, just like every server, bartender, and manger at this BEAUTIFUL establishment. First off such a busy place thank the lord we made a reservation! We had such an amazing experience at BLVD from the drinks both cocktails and mock-tails, which was very impressive to see such a wide selection of! The food was excellent, being our first time we had no idea what was good but man our server knew her shit! We started off with some pull-a-part bread and sticky ribs (those were fabulous), continued with sharing a roasted beet salad and for our main entrees I got the Jambalaya , 10/10 RECOMMEND! My hubby got the Blackened Pork Chop and when she said that was one of her favorite entrees she wasn't kidding! He said it was so good that he could have licked the plate clean! Our friends who we went with also spoke highly of their entrees and our waitress saying she was probably the best waitress we have had in our life and we are 67! We ended our evening with the new Cheesecake and White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which were both delicious. All I have to say is that if you decide to come into BLVD for the first time or even another time, we would 100% recommend asking to sit with Destiny! She is such a lovely and lively little lady (not kidding she is little). She has such an amazing personality, she knows her menu like the back of her had. She's not afraid to tell you her input on the menu with what's good or bad. If you like a server who is a little sassy and that you can joke around with and they will do it right back, she is that person! This place is one of my new faves....I literally stumbled upon it a month ago during a visit to Staples and was VERY impressed with the food. They have many great items on the menu. To understand what this place is like, think of them as a higher-end Champs. The inside is dominated by the bar and the place can be on the loud side, but the food is wonderful from the (trendy) lobster mac & cheese to the burgers to the wings to the ribs and don't get me started on the french fries - crispy, hot goodness. They have a pretty nice happy hour and a bunch of good appetizers on the menu. There is a fun "sampler platter" that could be a meal for 3 people with Edamame, wings, ribs, spicy shrimp and calamari with a tiny flaming Sterno grill in the center - fun and lively. We've been back again and will be adding this to our standard rotation of fun, casual spots. read more

I just picked up a take out order from BLVD. My meal was advertised as Rigatoni with Bolognese Sauce. While I admit the flavor was good, it was most definitely NOT Bolognese. Basically it was a kind of Palomino Sauce with a few tiny chunks of beef and a PILE of almost raw onions, and maybe three pieces of red bell pepper. Sorry, I have been making Bolognese for maybe ten years. I have never seen a recipe like this. Hey chef! We came here for a girls night dinner and sat out at the patio (note: they do have a 90min limit due to the current covid situation). It was a cute patio with umbrellas and shade so I enjoy it since I can be outside but not have the sun beating down at me. I ordered the mussels appetizer which to me is more of an entree size but no complains there! It tasted great and the portion was plentiful for appetizer. My friends got rib eye and chicken salad and they both looked really good as well. I was reluctant to go to any restaurant on a holiday since I usually experience poor food preparation and service on these occasions, but my sons, both fathers, wanted to take me out to celebrate Father's Day at BLVD for brunch. We were immediately seated and our waitress Nicole (?) came to our table with water and took drink orders. I had the BLVD Manhattan with Woodford Reserve and Campano Antico vermouth served with an extra-large ice cube and garnished with an Italian Luxardo cherry. It was amazing! My son opted for a Bloody Mary garnished with celery stalk, pickle, shrimp, and sausage - a meal in a glass that he thought was really good. We decided to share a classic prosciutto & pear flatbread with shaved prosciutto, sliced pear, Boursin cheese, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, pine nuts, arugula, and balsamic reduction as an appetizer. It was delicious. Then came our meals. I had the Crab Cake Benedict with jumbo lump crab cakes, poached eggs, toasted English muffins, whole grain mustard hollandaise, and crispy shredded potato strings that were quite delicious, although I would have wanted a little more hollandaise over my eggs. One son had the lobster hash with red & green peppers, onions, fried eggs, and hollandaise. The other had the Spanish omelet with chorizo, caramelized onions, jalapeño, jack cheese, cilantro, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Everyone loved their dishes and the service was cheerful and well-paced with no hiccups. One of the servers even stopped by our table to ask how I liked my drink. and then recommended I try their Port Old Fashioned made exclusively at this restaurant. I'll definitely be back! read more

WOW. Came here for dinner with a group of friends and the place was packed, which I'd take as a good sign! Pros: - Incredible service: our waters were being filled constantly, we had both our waiter and who I assume is the manager come check in on us regularly and ask if we needed anything. They're very attentive and caring - Portions: HUGE. I ordered the sea bass and our waiter warned me that it "wasn't a lot of food" so I added a side of grilled chicken breast as well. The chicken ended up being unnecessary and the sea bass was plenty of food! Also my friend ordered the pulled pork sliders and it's basically 3 normal sized sandwiches haha... You won't go home hungry! - Flavor: my food was SO good... the sea bass was buttery tender, it came with sautéed shaved carrots and fennel (to die for) and a great light mango creme sauce which complimented the fish beautifully. Even my side of chicken breast was seasoned and grilled perfectly! - Tons of nearby parking: the restaurant is tucked away a bit but surrounded by free lot parking! - Atmosphere: This is a really well designed place. It's fresh, classy, modern, and has a nice outdoor seating area with a fire pit! Cons: - Not a big enough deal for me to remove a star, but we were seated in the booth nearest to the entrance and it was busy that night & FREEZING outside so we were getting blasted with gusts of 10 degree wind (brr!) pretty much constantly throughout the evening... not ideal... but the great food and service made up for it. read more

My friend and I came here after a long day. It was a very nice place to walk into! I ordered my usual old fashioned and it met my old fashioned taste test! We ordered the mashed potatoes (LOVED the fried onions in it!), Brussel sprouts (nothing extravagant to rave about but still good), and the blackened pork chop (soooo good. Cooked perfectly, the salsa was so delicious to add to the pork chop and rice!) We were too full at the time but I'm so glad we got our dessert to go! We had the crème brûlée cheesecake and I literally never want to have cheesecake any other way (but I'm sure I will because I love it all ;)) Super yummy and our server, Stephanie, was great! Ordered the IPA off the chalk board displayed in the bar. Apparently it's only for looks because the server informed us that is not in stock and hasn't been for some time. It's a chalk board! Several other choices on the board were also no longer on tap. Erase what you don't have and change it! The days special menu had an incomplete listing of tap brews and no other listing. The waiter quickly rattled off a few other unheard of choices and stood there with a "hurry up and make a choice. Can't you see I'm busy? Look on his face. I had a hazy ipa that was funky vegetable tasting and the second beer- a cream ale was as unremarkable. No tasting notes so we could about the tap brews so not a place I'd return to drink beer. Ordered the crab cake burger for $18.00 with fries. How do you make fries leathery and tough?! The crab cake was all of 4-6 oz but mostly mushy bread crumbs like old thanksgiving stuffing. No crab taste or texture. The patty was hidden under thick slab bacon, avocado slices and a gummy thick potato flour bun. All that would have been appreciated on a thick, juicy beef or bison burger as an accompaniment , but all that with a crab burger seemed more of an attempt to hide the poor quality crab meat and meager patty than something that elevated the crab. You can cinclude, it wasn't worth eating. Disgusting. Would consider a return visit to see if they can pull off a simple burger, but less than hopeful given this first experience. read more

I love this place. I wish it was in Minneapolis so it was closer to me, because I would come here all the time. The interior is open and large, and there is a peaceful vibe. The wait staff is dressed cleanly and are friendly and professional. Brunch is really amazing here, they have so many options (menu is huge), and every dish is made well and well thought out. There jam is homemade, their hashbrowns are flavorful, and they give you complimentary monkey bread before your meal during weekend brunch. I want to come here for dinner sometime.
