The atmosphere here is trendy young and fun. Decor is very upscale. The staff is great; one of the most knowledgable attentive waiters I have ever had. The only complaint quite honestly was the food. I'm sure the steaks are wonderful, but I tried something new, and was very disappointed. The lobster Mac is nothing special, not much lobster and overpriced for what you get (mostly cheese and noodles). The salmon is ok. I guess I'm not that big on salmon to begin with, still I've tasted better. They also charge you for bread. Nevertheless, I would go back, but stick to just drinks or a steak entree. read more

Visited for lunch. Had the jerk shrimp and grilled peach salad and was very disappointed. Shrimp tasted like the grill had not been cleaned from the night before and the peaches were hard, pithy and lacked any flavor. Good concept but very poor execution. We went to a private party there last night and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and they set up a wonderful buffet with pizzas and fruits, salads, sliders, roasted veggies etc. Very well presented and maintained. There were a lot of people iin a small space but the servers were great. Kept on top of everything. But major shout out to server Rachel who was a mind reading speed demon who was friendly, fun, and so attentive. And she remembered the different wines people were drinking. Incredible establishment. I'm not from the area and was just looking for some wings and a quick beer after work and I was blown away. A great location in a shopping center that is easy to get to. Service wise, I sat at the bar and the staff was great, never had an empty glass of water, and got a great beer suggestion. The beer was cold and fit exactly what I was looking for. They have a great value happy hour menu which I got some delicious truffle fries and incredible wings. The kicker was getting served a moist towel to dry my hands with after my meal. All in all a great experience and I will definitely be back when I'm near the twin cities! read more

I've been here twice and really liked it. Had brunch and it was great , eggs Bennie. Sat at the bar both times. Great service. I like it when the bartender is attentive and not in your face constantly. Bloodies were really good too. The Carmel roll feeds an army and is really good, not like that weird slop from Cinnabon. I live in Plymouth and have frequently eaten at BLVD. It is expectedly busy, because both the food and the service are good. I recently went there for dinner with good friends I hadn't seen in a long time. I have to say that of all the times I've been to BLVD Kitchen and Bar, this was by far the best dining experience I/we have ever had at BLVD and honestly, anywhere - made so because of our waiter, John. Not only did he know the menu and was willing to give honest recommendatons, he was engaging, witty, funny and spot on with comebacks that kept us laughing hilariously. I dare say he is THE BEST waiter in the twin cities without a doubt. Kudos to BLVD ... you are lucky to have John on your staff. read more

I love this place and it's kid friendly during the day or early evening. The decor is nice and upscale with nice large booths. The food is great and the service is wonderful. We go here about once a week. I love their Chopped Salad, I think I am addicted to it! The calamari is awesome, some of the best in the metro area, light and fluffy. This used to be my favorite place. We were here a few week ago and our bill was $125 for a Blvd. Cheese burger & a Salad and a 5 Moscow mules. WOWZA!!! The burger was cold in the middle when it was served. We sent it back and they microwaved the heck out it of - the pretzel bun was flattened & flaming hot. The Moscow Mule's were outrageously expensive. $10 for Grey Goose & a $2.50 up charge for the Mule? The bartender was overly attentive - sometimes that is a HUGE bother. It could have been that it was a nice day out and most people were on the patio and only a handful of people at the bar. Sorry BLVD. I can make a burger at home on a pretzel bun for $10. and I can make Moscow Mule's in copper mugs at home for $62.00 all summer long!! read more

I like how the kitchen was open and I was able to view it from my seat at the bar. There were tvs to watch the game. The staff was very friendly.I had maybe the best burger I have ever had. The Royale was delicious and I highly recommend it. I also had the brussel sprouts with pancetta (nice twist, usually I see it with bacon). It was also good. read more

Had my grooms dinner here in July of 2014. The private room was great, food was delicious, and the service was really amazing! They had 3 servers dedicated to our party and no one was waiting on refills! My wife is a huge fan of the lobster Mac and cheese and I love their burgers. read more

I came here on a Thursday night around 6:30 to meet a friend for dinner. It was absolutely packed and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes for a table. I was excited for my meal because I thought obviously I'd stumbled on something really great. Instead, I found something good, not great. Their food and service are solid. My food was enjoyable and my waiter was good. However, if I'm going to wait 30 minutes for a table and pay $14 for a turkey burger it better blow my mind. Don't get me wrong, it was good but it was nothing special. I returned a few weeks ago for drinks with friends and we did have a good time and our drinks were very reasonable. One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food is a little upscale but affordable. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is great and comes quickly. The bar area is rather noisy but the area by the fireplace is nice and cozy. They have a great Sunday brunch too. read more

Found this restaurant on our recent visit to the Minnetonka area. What a great experience! Adam, our waiter, was very knowledgeable and graciously answered our questions as we narrowed down our selections from the variety of excellent entrees, salads, burgers, soups. I chose the blackened pork chop. It was cooked to perfection and accompanied by tasty asparagus and rice, also prepared to perfection. We plan on returning to this restaurant the next time we are in the area. This is a great place to go to because it's nice, but not super fancy. The food is all really good and I'd highly recommend the jambalaya. The meals are a bit pricey, but the quality is good. We had a very disappointing experience at BLVD yesterday. We met an old friend there at about 2:40 for drinks and food. Around 4:00 our waitress told us that restaurant has a policy of limiting people to staying no longer than 1 hour 30 minutes. We said we understand, but given that there was very few people in the restaurant at the time, we were not concerned. At about 5:20 we ordered another round of drinks for my wife and our friend. Right after they brought us the drinks the manager came over to the table and told us we had to leave in 5 minutes. We asked if we could at least have a reasonable amount of time to finish the drinks that had just arrived. The manager said no. He told us that we had already been there longer that we should have, and that they were fully booked for the evening. At the time, there were still very few people there and several of the seating tables were available. So, we got our check, paid the bill and left. It will be the last time we go to BLVD Kitchen. read more
