What had happened was during the removal and install of said transmission, they broke my axle, I did not go in with a axle issue however, they pushed the blame to me, did not take accountability for their mechanics mistake. It cost me alot of out of pocket cost. I also went for a second opinion and found they did not install the axle properly, they charged me twice and used old or broken parts. It cost me so much more to fix the other components this axle caused by being incorrectly installed. This company has also proved, they take advantage of women and seniors in nickle dimeing you out of extra money for their errors. I needed my car, the rental was becoming expensive and they give no discounts. I have been talking to management since November about this issue and she barely answer calls or emails. This probably will become a legal battle since I know they scammed me on this one. I do not advise this location for women and always get the work they claim they did, was done correctly and not use shortcuts on your dollar. I'm sure other customers have the same complaint!

I left with my car and only the recommendation that the transmission would need to be rebuilt/replaced, although he did not seem to want to take that on. Fortunately, Rob only asked that I pay for one part despite all his labor, and then I took it elsewhere. At AAMCO transmissions they found and fixed the problem in a single day, and it was MUCH simpler and less expensive than a transmission repair. It was a worn engine mount. I respect the effort that Rob made but the experience was overall quite poor. Exacerbating the situation, Rob's office manager Shelby provided truly miserable customer service. She rarely returned my phone calls, provided misinformation at several points and never made it clear what was being done to my car. She pretended to understand the mechanical issues but seemed to confuse things at every turn. If you have a transmission problem, I'm sure Rob will try to assist, but be very clear of the issues with your car and the expected outcomes, or you may face a situation like mine.

They quoted me around $2,950 for an oil housing replacement, while the dealership quoted $3,000. So there is basically no price advantage at all. Then it got worse. On the first day, they gave me my car back without the underbody cover at all. When I came to pick it up, I clearly told them that I would take the cover myself and they didn't need to install anything, but instead they handed me someone else's cover, which does not even fit my car. On top of that, I had insurance that was supposed to cover specific damage, but they opened a claim for everything they possibly could, creating unnecessary complications. I would not recommend it to anyone.
