Preordered 2 individual Thanksgiving dinners at 9am for a 415pm pick up. No one answered the phone when I arrived for curbside pickup. Walked in and the employees were in chaos. The manager was working the register. He should have been managing. The hostess was wondering around accomplishing nothing. This location needs a realignment. Ended up getting my order at 5pm. No apologies offered. There were several of us experiencing the same attitudes and incompetence. This holiday did not just pop up. Be prepared like a reputable restaurant would be. read more

Never go to this location. Ordered the Homestead breakfast and it came out with biscuits as hard as hockey pucks. Manager said it was too close to closing to make more. He offered to soften them up with butter lol. First off they were over baked and should never have been served. He said he would take it off my bill and all he did was take off the $4 of toast we bought extra. The biscuits and gravy are over half of that meal. The portions were small for the price but most importantly the food was not very good at all. They serve the food on small platters to give the illusion of good size portions. Without a doubt I would have preferred a egg mcmuffin. The eggs were flavorless. The ham slice was decent size but thin like lunchmeat. The hash browns were "lightly browned" also with no seasoning and dry. The biscuits were also dry and salty. For a sit down breakfast I'll goto Perkins. read more

Dined at this Bob Evans during a road trip. Big mistake. I've been to many BE's before but this one is by far the worst when it comes to food quality. I ordered the open-faced pulled pork sandwich. The pork was so-so, the mashed potatoes were out of a box, the bbq sauce was out of a bottle and there was a HAIR in my food! My wife's order was totally wrong - the mgr took the plate back and gave her a bowl of soup and house fries to swap. The only good spot was the staff - everyone was very friendly and focused on making us feel welcome. Now if they can only fix the problem in the kitchen! read more

Well, I read the other reviews after we were seated and I was a bit worried that our dining experience would suck. Well, it ddn't. Our waitress, Jazz, was great. She was constantly stopping by to check on us and she got our food out to us quickly and it was hot and fresh. All the items we ordered were cooked correctly and were tasty. I'll probably never go back to this particular location because I live in Texas and just happened to be driving by in a torrential storm, but my two cents are that the place was fine. Very Slow service. We have a party of 5, wouldn't recommend coming here unless there are just 2 to your party

Yesterday we stopped at this Bob Evans for lunch. The experience was awful! From the moment we sat down it was evident that the waitress was stressed and unhappy. This problem was further exacerbated when she was given a party of twelve a few minutes later. Service was slow and drinks never were refilled. The table behind us arrived after us and was served promptly and efficiently by a different waitress. When our food arrived our breakfast included burnt toast and under cooked eggs. The lunch had burnt chicken and undercooked broccoli. When this was brought to the attention of the waitress and manager they became immediately defensive blaming the party of twelve. Another twenty minutes later a different breakfast was finally brought out. What should have been a relaxing lunch became a tense, miserable, hour and a half mess. An apology from anyone (waitress, manager, someone) would have gone a long way to improving our satisfaction and likeliness of returning but there was never any acknowledgement. It's understandable that people have bad days but is a simple apology too much to ask for? read more

August 7, 2018 around 11:30 a.m. we stopped here for a bite to eat with our grandchilden and we were highly disappointed. The food service from the kitchen was extremely slow, which would be understandable if they were extremely busy but they were not. When the food finally did come it was on the verge of being cold, not good for our eggs! They did not even have all the food prepared when they did bring it. We did not get the fruit for the one meal until we were ready to leave and we had to even wait for that! I would give this place a F-. Would not recommend. read more

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I did the carside to go, and when I came to pick up my food they said I was all ready to go, so I went home to eat my food. When I opened the bag at home, I ordered three meals for my family, and there was only one full one and a half of one. When we came back to get the rest of our food they said there was nothing they could do, unless we orders again. I am never going back there. read more

I went to Bob Evans in Avon OH with 6 friends Sunday Sept. 13, 2015. We waited 45 mins. for a table, never once were we given menus or approached by an employee to tell us how much longer our wait would be. People came in after us and were seated within 10 mins. of arriving. After being seated, we waited 20 mins for the waitress to greet us, another 15 mins before we got our coffee and when the food finally arrived, mine was cold. But after waiting for an hour and a half for food, I ate it cold. The waitress was less than friendly, had to be TOLD to bring more coffee and when giving us our bills, removed the piled up dirty dishes like she was doing us a favor. I was so disgusted, I didn't wait to speak to the manager. I just left. read more

We've always liked Bob Evans, but this location - not so much. We keep trying it again, hoping it will be better, but I think we're going to give up. Ordered scrambled eggs, and received a very flat egg folded up (like a crepe) - not scrambled or fluffy at all. The breakfast sausage were tough and chewy, then the french toast - we both ordered the same, my order came out about 1/2 the size of my husband's all mutilated, and very little taste. Every time we go to eat at this restaurant we are disappointed - not sure if it's all the Bob Evans' restaurants going down hill, but this location is a definite NO! read more

if i could give this place less than one star, i would. we were seated after a few minute wait, however it went downhill from there. while we were waiting for a server, we saw three other tables that were seated behind us receiving attention from other servers. we called the hostess over and asked if someone was supposed to be working our section. she took our beverage order and said she would send someone by. meanwhile, another server noticed that we hadn't been seen by anyone yet. she offered to go find someone. at the 15 minute mark, with no server and no beverages in sight, we got up and left. on the way out, we asked for the manager, who was behind the counter plating up food. after complaining about the non-service, she stated that she was "just about to get our drinks." no thanks! we went to the perkins across the street and our server took our drink orders before we even took off our coats and sat down. that server got an extraordinary tip.. read more

As a chef, I do not trust anything that comes out of this kitchen. Reasons being; both times I've been here I ordered the same thing" the sunshine skillet". Both times the home fries were burnt completely black. The first time I can accept as a mistake. However the second time tells me that the cooks don't care about what the serve to there guests, which makes me wonder if they care enough to wash there hands, or wear gloves, and use sanitizer water, and clean towels. However the servers are very sweet and will go above and beyond for their guests. read more

Bob Evans is typically one of my favorite places for breakfast, but my experience at this location with my wife was particularly poor. After being seated, it took 10 minutes for a manager to come around and ask if we had been helped yet (we had not), and she took our drink order herself. Our food was "okay" - not as great as we have enjoyed in the past at other locations. My wife's scrambled eggs were somewhat runny, and her "crispy bacon" looked barely cooked. Our waitress was plenty nice, but we saw very little of her, and were left waiting for a long time after we had finished eating - we ended up having to flag down a different waitress to receive our bill. It seemed as though the staff had been more interested in chatting in the kitchen area than providing service, and the whole experience was very slow. We will continue visiting other Bob Evans locations, but will not be returning to the Avon location. read more

This is second time to come to such a nice looking place to eat, and got the same waitress as the first time. I guess the attitude is at least constant with her. Never has she been friendly nor observant of the needs of her customers. Pamela S. both times has made my wife and myself feel uncomfortable while dining there. She put the canister of coffee on the table never offering to pour the first cup, buttering the toast as requested, then brings burnt toast and when I put it on a napkin for her to see, she politely ignored it, the third time she came by, I had to ask for another piece and then she brings one with hardly any butter on it at all. read more
