Decent food. Last time I was here I had a rather rude server who kind of ruined my experience. Also, they seem to never have their broasted chicken in stock. Tried to order it 3 times in the last month and each time they were out. A few weeks ago my family and I visited this establishment. Upon entering it seemed very nice and the hostess seated us immediately. Our waiter was good as well, taking our drink order and bringing it to us in a timely manner. The coffee and orange juice was great, but that's all we had for about an hour until our food came. When our food finally came the pancakes smelled so sour to the point where my wife nearly vomited. My children's pancakes were extremely dry and would flake as you attempted to pick them up with your fork. 1 Star don't recommend. read more

Today was unforgettable. I went in Bob Evans today and sat at the counter. This particular Bob Evans, the counter can view the kitchen. Shortly after ordering, I noticed a waitress loading up a tray with plates of Food to deliver to customers. The plate was too heavy or hot for her and while picking it up half the home fries slid off the plate onto the counter where the cook put the completed plates. I watched the waitress get some type of scraper and scoop the potatoes off of that surface back onto the plate and deliver them to the table of four. I immediately found the assistant manager and let her know what I saw. She assured me that she was going to take care of it. It will be quite some time before I return to this location after witnessing all of this. read more

Good food. Ate supper last night and service was great as was the food. Came back for breakfast. Food was great but service wasn't as good as night before. Ordered my breakfast and asked for turkey sausage and hash browns extra crispy. Meal came out with eggs cooked like ordered and hash browns done like I ordered but bacon instead of the turkey sausage. Have eaten breakfast in a different location of same chain and asked about a pot of coffee for the table and was given the three cup pot and told they have them but can't put out unless customer asks. At this location wasn't even given the option when asked and server was very blunt when saying that we are not allowed to. I understand that some managers have a problem with the three cup pot sitting on table but if it's something that can be offered it's more about customer service and not management preference. read more

Today I went into Bob Evans and I stood there for 8-10 minutes before I was asked if I needed any help. Even the Assistant Manager, Eddie was too busy with personal conversations to tend to the guest. Don't get me wrong the food is pretty good but today the customer service was a little off. read more

I've been here twice this year, to get breakfast. The first time, we had good food and the waitress was attentive and nice. The second time, the food was good, but we had a new waiter who barely came to our table (we had to go up to the counter and request utensils). The people at the table next to us had a child who was screaming bloody murder the whole time and would not shut up. They had a pretty good caramel macchiato, if you like sugary coffee drinks, and you can at least get free refills on that. I like that they have a lower calorie breakfast option where you can get whole grain small pancakes w/ sugarfree (Splenda) syrup. read more

I love coming here in the early morning for breakfast. We always have a nice server, frequent coffee refils, and get our food promptly. I've rarely had a dish I didn't like. Love the biscuits and brioche french toast. read more

First time to a Bob Evans anywhere. Typical old-school So. MD restaurant. below average customer service, food. we ordered at 8:30pm (they close at 9:00). At 8:43pm the waitress came out and said that they had thrown their chicken out and asked if I would like them to make more or would I like something else (I was really looking forward to the chicken), "it will only take 10 to 15 minutes for more chicken (now its 8:48pm). So i ordered soup. It was lukewarm at best. The other two meals we ordered were average to below average. When the check came we had to have the cashier adjust the price since we ordered french toast specifically as an a la carte item because it saves you $1. (Tip for those ordering french toast!!). The biscuits were ok, but you could tell they were from much earlier in the day. I guess we should have known better than to go to a restaurant 35 minutes before closing time. Today I went to Bob Evans to have breakfast with a friend as I do almost every week. For the past year I have been down loading coupons and would share them with customers so that they would get $4.00 off a meal totaling over $20.00. Today, I was confronted by the manager who asked me what I thought I was doing. I told him that I was sharing coupons with the customers. You would have though I committed a major crime. He rudely demanded my remaining coupons and snatched them out of my hand. If what I was doing was wrong he should have approached me in a calm way and informed me that it was illegal and that I should stop. I have been doing this for over a year with no problems. I informed my waitress that I was not happy with the way I was treated and a few minutes later the manage came to my booth and stated again that what I was doing was illegal again. I tried to have a conversation with him and he stormed off telling me that he was calling the police. My friend arrived we had a great breakfast. In the past I have given two dollar bills and Kennedy half dollars out to all the kids in the restaurant with their parents. If anything I was serving as an ambassador for Bob Evans with my generosity. If I owned this Bob Evans and saw one of my managers treating a customer like a common criminal I would fire him on the spot. People with severe anger management problems should not be working with the public. I will never set foot in this Bob Evans restaurant again. read more
