I've lost count of how many times I've driven by this spot but I finally got to try it! There's usually a line at night too. We got the jasmine green milk tea with boba and the peach passion fruit green tea. Both were delicious and the boba consistency was perfection. I'm so glad we opted to get the large too for the green milk tea cause it was so so good. I was lowkey actually cracking popcorn chicken and holy wowwww, I'm a fan! They serve it with a side of cheese foam and it's sweetness was the perfect compliment to the savory and spiciness of the seasoning of the popcorn chicken. This boba spot totally hit the spot. The milk tea was creamy without being too sweet, and the tapioca pearls were soft, chewy, and fresh--exactly how they should be. I also loved how customizable the drinks were, from sugar levels to ice. read more

Been going here since middle school. It is now one of my go to boba places because it is open until 12am and where else would I find a drive thru? All I can say is that there are pro and cons to every place and this is one of those places that you have to decide whether or not the pros can outweigh the cons. Lovely staff! We ordered at the drive thru but then had to get out of the line because our battery had died. The staff checked in with us and asked us what happened, we let them know we were waiting for road side assistance because our battery died. They offered to give us our Boba for free ! Whenever we visit LA we have to stop by this place for the mango yogurt with extra thickness and the Hokkaido milk tea. It's the way they make it here! I'm not sure what MAGICAL goodness they put into the drinks here but, please continue to do it... I love coming here around 9pm or after dinner. Whenever I drink the mango yogurt after dinner time, I can really LET IT GO in the morning! Hehe... I highly recommend the mango yogurt for people who might have constipation or indigestion. But, that's just the benefit of it. I truly love the flavor and texture of the mango yogurt drink itself. It's also so RARE to see a drive thru boba place! Wish they would open one of these near Temecula... Sometimes we'll see cute guys or girls working there. They are all very friendly and welcoming. I really like this business. Haven't been here in almost two years and now it's a complete drive thru now so no more ordering indoors! Food - Settled for the Strawberry Yogurt with Boba. This has also been my go to drink. The perfect ratio of blended strawberries and yogurt makes this a delicious dessert drink which I was craving! Service - came here on a late Thursday night so service was fast as there was only one other car in front of me. Ambiance - The drive thru extended! Typically where you would pick up your items is now where you order your items and now it loops around to where you pick up the items where the walk-in entrance used to be so this allows traffic to be more efficient when it's busy. Smart move because the line used to reach to the streets and I always thought it was dangerous with other cars driving by so fast. read more

Although it was around 10 PM ,the line of the drive thru was very long and extended to the the street. The service always very fast. I tried almost all of their drink. I love the passion fruit green tea. It is light, has an adequate sweetness and very tasty and refreshing. Both of their popcorn chicken and sweet potatoes are so good too. They close at midnight which is nice for people who crave a late night snack. I will be back soon! I initially gave 3 stars because our service on one day was rude -- handed her some bills of cash and she rudely said we were short of the amount with a condescending tone and attitude. Asked her politely to recount and she just rolled her eyes, but then realized she made a mistake, and didn't even apologize or acknowledge us afterwards. However, I've been here many times in previous years and I've thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and service beforehand. Updating review to 4 stars to reflect this! DRINKS [5/5] ------------- Anyways, drinks are always delicious! I recommend getting the Jasmine Tea with Cheese Foam. The tea is really well made-- perfectly sweet and very flavorful. Boba Ave simply gets the job done. They're known for the drive-thru option and their late hours, which is always a plus for late night runs. Although Boba Ave is convenient for the most part, the lines are consistently long. The service is decently quick, but the drive-thru option generally takes longer. The drinks are pretty standard. There are times where my drink tastes diluted so I would recommend the less ice option if that's something that would bother you! I usually enjoy visiting Boba Ave, but today's experience was really disappointing. I ordered popcorn chicken and was shocked to find that most of the cup was filled with just crumbs -- barely any real pieces of chicken. It felt like I was given the bottom scraps of the fryer instead of a proper serving.understand that some crumbs are inevitable, but this was excessive. For the price I paid, I expected more than just crunchy bits with almost no meat. It honestly felt like a waste of you can see for yourself how little actual chicken was in the order. (This is a drive-through only place, please check your order carefully before you leave.) I hope the staff or management pays attention to this, because I know Boba Ave can do better. It's a drive thru! We had ramen nearby and this place is open until midnight so we decided to walk over to work off our meal but they don't take walk up orders. There is parking for delivery drivers though to pick up. Menu is simple. A selection of milk tea, slushie, yogurt and cheese foam based drinks. You can have add ins like boba for extra and you can configure ice and sugar levels. It did get slow for us around 930p on a Monday night perhaps it's the only boba place in town open that late! read more

Love this place! More places need drive through boba. Drinks are super cheap and upgrade to their large size for 50 cent. Large is enough for two people. Also get their popcorn chicken. Probably the most chicken any boba store will give you. Comes in a big cup that can fit inside your cup holders. Service: quick and fast, exactly what's needed for drive through. Update: I looked up a few comments. I am glad that some people confirmed that the recipe has changed!!!! Boba Ave used to be one of my favorite boba shops if not the most favorite. But, I guess it's no longer this case. The milk tea tasted different now and the boba is not good either. Compared to one they used to make, the new taste tasted so like powder making milk and really not good. The boba used to be sweet and chewy, but now it is very firm and tasteless. For those who used to drink boba ave, I wonder if you have the same thoughts. I didn't mean to downgrade boba ave. But I really want the owner to notice this and improve if they can. --------- After I tasted, it was so disappointing that I had to make a call. The boba wasn't even eatable (very very undercooked). The milk tea was so watery. I called the shop. I asked why.. They were very nice to exchange one with me. I was very disappointed and willing to give them one more chance despite the waiting line!!! There was so much hype about this Boba drive-thru. Every time I shop in the lot next to it, I see a line of cars waiting as I exit the parking lot. Bring intrigued and finally saw there was a short line, we came her to give them a try. They used to have a walk in option, but the doors are locked and blocked, so sitting in your car idling is the only way. We ordered a milk tea brown sugar boba, 1/2 sweet and an Oreo with brown sugar boba, also 1/2 sweetened. Both drinks were descent, but the main ingredient, boba was very average. Our order didn't have the nice chew of fresh boba, nor did it have any flavor. I tried really hard to taste the brown sugar or any sweetness, but they just tasted like plain boba. I'm not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews but for me personally, there was no interaction besides handing payment over and receiving our drinks. There was no ambiance to experience, and our drinks were good, but nowhere near great. But that's just me, since so many people like to line up, wait in their cars as they slowly inch forward to the window to get their drinks. My 2 star review is solely because the wait time was beyond long & unacceptable! I literally had to wait 30 mins today (1-20-25) for 1 drink since it was just me in my car. I debated if I should order popcorn chicken to try but as I realized how long it even took to get to the order here station I just ordered a drink. I waited so long that I was able to post things on instagram. Had I known the wait was ridiculously long I would have went to Sunmerry which was the next block over. The reason for not going to Sunmerry initially was because I did not want to get out of my vehicle. Well that was a big mistake as I would have saved time had I gone to Sunmerry. I will say the drink I ordered, peach green fruit tea was tasty. I would have given 4-5 stars had it not been for the very poor & extreme slowness of their drive thru. The drive through option is cool and service was good. Strawberry mango green tea with boba : it was fine. The tea flavor was pretty mild and while the drink was good, I don't know if it really stuck out Hokkaido milk tea : this was also okay. I might prefer Sunright's Hokkaido more.
