    ### Review I keep coming back for the Vietnamese coffee topped with cookie butter--it's that good! The rich, flavorful coffee paired with the sweet and crunchy cookie butter is such a perfect combination, and it's become my go-to order every time I visit. I also love that the shop has trading card nights, which makes the whole experience even more fun. Great drinks, fun atmosphere, and always a reason to come back!

Went here for my favorite popcorn chicken and saw these matcha drinks on their menu. First time trying Matcha Cloud, and I didn't know it could be this good and refreshing! 10/10 Also, thanks to LANA for the great service! She's the best! Visit her at BobaLicious Mira Mesa! They have a bunch of matcha and hojicha drinks on the menu and Can't wait to try their cookie butter next!

Overall I'd rate my experience 3.5 stars. Bobalicious is a casual boba shop in the Mira Mesa shopping complex next to Hobby Lobby. Lots of parking spots in the shared lot but it does get busy during peak hours. They serve a variety of milk tea, coffee drinks, slushies, seasonal drinks, and some food. They have a tablet kiosk to order from or you can order at the front. Our drinks came out within a few minutes. There's a few tables inside if you choose to stay and enjoy your drink. The reason for less stars is the inconsistent pricing on the main menu versus the kiosk (the kiosk shows all the prices at least .25-.50 cents more for all their drinks), the fact they charge more if you ask for less ice (most boba places do not charge extra), and the drinks were smaller than other places. Not sure if I'd return...

Bobalicious had a rebrand recently and are now serving matcha!!! Which makes you question it but it really genuinely IS GOOD! If you like Hinar's matcha, this place is so damn close to it that Hinar isn't even worth the drive for me anymore. They're also super nice here and have other refreshing drinks my partner tried the watermelon sugarcane juice (not pictured) and it was also good! They also don't charge for oatmilk!!!

I've been coming to Bobalicious for a while now, I always love it when I come in and now they added a matcha menu! Cilla recommended us the double matcha and cookie butter matcha. 10/10 service and taste!! The vibes are always chill and they also open at 8:30 everyday now so it's perfect for early birds. Hits the spot every time :)

This place is the number one OG boba spot! They're always the NICEST, the most creative, with the most delicious flavors and always on point! They're also fair on pricing and drinks come out quick. The space has plenty of seating and has some good music on to enjoy. Love this place! They've been around forever and there's a reason for it!

I also ordered the tiger tea, and it was nothing like a traditional tiger milk tea. It was orange in color, had an unpleasant taste, and I ended up throwing the entire drink away. Traditional tiger tea is typically made with brown sugar, which gives it its distinctive appearance and flavor. If your version is made differently, it would behelpful to let customers know on the menu so they know what to expect. Bobalicious has a NEW matcha menu and I'm hooked! My favorite so far is the Cookie Butter Matcha--it's creamy, refreshing, and the perfect little sweet treat for these hot summer days. Triscilla is the sweetest and so helpful. She even remembers to add my extra Biscoff bits every time. If you love matcha or need a go-to spot for a refreshing drink in this heat, you NEED to try this menu!

Came with family from Boston and we all enjoyed Bobalicious, last time I was here like maybe 3-4 years ago and there's been such an upgrade with the shop. It's so cute and cozy now and ordering the brown sugar latte or taro milk tea is always good, my favorite go to drinks!! Triscilla helped with our order and everything came out amazing :)

Stopped by Bobalicious in Mira Mesa looking for something to eat and drink, and this spot made a strong first impression. From the moment I walked up and heard Pretty Brown eyes, I already liked the energy. Inside, the atmosphere was relaxed, and ordering was easy with either the self-order kiosk or the register. The menu offers a solid variety of drinks, including Vietnamese coffee, milk teas, smoothies, slushes, house specials, and boba options. I went with the cold ube Vietnamese coffee with mini boba, and it easily became the highlight of my visit. The coffee had that bold Vietnamese flavor, while the ube added a smooth, unique twist that made the drink memorable. This one takes first place for me right now. If you want a drink that stands out from the usual lineup, this is the one to order.

If I ever have a drink craving and in Mira Mesa this is my go to spot. Coffee, matcha or something refreshing they have it all! Triscilla and Nathan are always so helpful and give me their top recommendations! They're also always so sweet and welcoming

I am writing to recognize Triscilla for providing exceptional customer service. She was incredibly patient while taking my order, listened attentively to my preferences, and gave outstanding recommendations. Her professionalism and courtesy truly stood out, and I look forward to returning soon.

Ah, refreshments after a morning hike! Great spot with many options available. Busy shopping plaza with lounge seats to chill. They were out of coconut juice but sugar cane was available. Got the Thai tea and Okinawa milk tea. Delicious drinks and won some prizes for the kids. Book marked for future visit!

We chose to sit down since we also wanted to try their food along with the drinks. For drinks, my husband ordered the matcha boba and I got the taro with boba. Both were really good--the flavors actually come through, not watered down or too sweet. I also really liked the texture of the ice; it was finely crushed, which made the drinks extra enjoyable. The cups themselves were also really cute and well-designed. For food, I ordered the breaded pork in teriyaki sauce with rice, which also came with three side dishes. It included pickled cucumber (which was really good), a stir-fried cabbage and carrot mix, and another stir-fried vegetable I wasn't familiar with but still enjoyed. My kids especially liked the teriyaki sauce. We also tried the chicken popcorn and my husband ordered the pork chop, which had that authentic Taiwanese bento-style taste we were hoping for. One thing I really appreciated is that they included small bowls for the kids and extra utensils without us even asking--that was a thoughtful touch and definitely a plus for me. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The food felt authentic, the drinks were solid, and service was fast. We're definitely planning to come back again with the whole family.

I always only get the Honeydew Bubble at 50% sugar with light boba. Tell me why it still tastes like 100% sugar? The same thing happened with the Mango Sago, which was wayyy too sweet. And what makes it even more disappointing is that they've raised their prices. One drink is now just under $10, so when I'm paying that much for ONE drink, I expect the recipe and quality to be consistent every time. Another thing that really bothers me is seeing the girls working with their hair completely down. It's honestly pretty off-putting when you're handling food and drinks, and I really hope the team is being properly trained in food safety and hygiene standards. I genuinely love Urban Bubble, which is why this is so disappointing. Please adjust the sugar levels or train the team to follow the recipes more consistently! This shop was extremely concerning to me from basic hygienic food safety and allergen-awareness standpoint. When I first asked about dairy, the employee told me that "almost every single drink was dairy-free," with only one or two exceptions. However, as I asked about specific drinks, she repeatedly realized that some actually did contain dairy. She seemed unsure of what ingredients were in the drinks and could not tell me what type of milk was being used, while continuing to assure me that the most drinks were dairy-free. I ordered a jasmine milk tea, but because I was already uncomfortable with the answers I was receiving, I asked again when the drink arrived: "What type of milk is in this?" The employee could not tell me. She repeatedly said, "I don't know, I just know it's dairy-free." When I asked her to please verify the ingredients, she became concerned and explained that the people working in the back did not speak English and only spoke Vietnamese, they wouldn't be able to understand her. An older woman came out and I used a translation app so there would be no misunderstanding. After several minutes of trying to communicate, she eventually brought out a dirty, large, unsealed industrial bag of "non-dairy creamer." She pointed to the words "non-dairy" on the bag to assure me that it was safe. I asked her to turn the bag around to see the ingredients. The first ingredient was milk powder, and the allergen statement clearly said: "CONTAINS: MILK." At that point, I immediately requested a refund. The entire situation was incredibly concerning. If a customer tells you they cannot have dairy, "I don't know what's in it, but I know it's dairy-free" is not an acceptable answer. Employees should know what ingredients are being used, especially when it comes to common allergens. I also found it very troubling that the employee initially gave me incorrect information about which drinks contained dairy, and that the product being used was apparently being treated as dairy-free simply because the packaging said "non-dairy," despite the package clearly stating that it contains milk. Thankfully, I questioned everything before consuming the drink. If you have a dairy allergy or another serious food allergy, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious here. I personally will not be returning.

Between my own drinks and drinks for family members, I would typically spend anywhere from $10 to $25 per day here. Unfortunately, the quality has become very inconsistent. Sometimes the drinks are great, but recently the boba has been terrible. For the last three days, the boba has been burnt, hard, and crispy. It feels like the same batch is being left out all day and served long after it should have been replaced. Yesterday, I ordered three drinks through DoorDash. I understand that ordering through a delivery service costs more, but I pay the extra charge because it saves time. One of the teas was ordered without ice because I have a one-hour commute home and didn't want watered-down tea. When I got home, I found that the cup was barely over half full. I know DoorDash includes a disclaimer that drinks without ice may not be filled to the top, but we're talking about tea here. Filling the cup properly would have cost very little, and receiving a drink that was less than three-quarters full felt like a slap in the face. Today, I decided to give them one last chance and ordered another drink online during my lunch break. Again, I paid extra for the convenience of ordering ahead because I don't have time to stand in line and wait. When I arrived at 11:30, I was told the boba wasn't ready yet. Not only did I not get what I ordered and paid for, but I ended up waiting while other customers were served. I had to return to work late, frustrated, and stuck with a tea without boba that I had overpaid for. After spending a significant amount of money here over time, I'm disappointed to say they've lost a loyal customer. Consistent quality and better customer service would go a long way.
