Super fruit tea with less ice, no sugar, and passion fruit jelly
    Grace L.

I love how creative Sweet Vibe is with their desserts! We loved the aesthetic and taste of their popular bearimisu, which is a tiramisu that has an adorable bear design on top. The oolong milk tea with less ice, less sugar, and lychee jelly was exactly what I was craving! My husband enjoyed the strawberry yogurt with crystal boba, but still likes the strawberry milk that we had previously gotten from Sweet Vibe more. My mother in law loved her super fruit tea with less ice, no sugar, and passion fruit jelly. She said it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I'm excited to try more drinks and desserts from this cute cafe!

I was not expecting Sweet Vibe to be this good! Ordered a delivery for two drinks when we were craving something refreshing on a hot afternoon. The green tea with boba was crisp and refreshing with the right amount of tea flavor and sweetness. The tea was not burned which meant they knew the temperatures when brewing. For me though, the real star of the show is the strawberry milk! Creamy dreamy sweetness milky, this is a must get. They blending the strawberry flavor seamlessly and I couldn't stop drinking it. I will certainly be back to have another strawberry milk!

SweetVibe has a really cute cake box counter to browse and the desserts are attractive and well crafted too. There's two kiosks for self order next to a wall of curated local art and the staff is also attentive. My melon jasmine cake (6.99) was forward in tea-like aroma and fragrant from the first bite of cream. The cake is very soft and light. Highly recommend this one if you like special flavors :) My friends cake with pork sung was similarly delicate too, and is for those who like to mix salty/sweet. IT IS NOT TOO SWEET!!! Perfectly less-sugary for those with a light palate. The tea is tasty as well - peach oolong milk tea with peach jelly and winter melon jelly had that smooth, fragrant and well-balanced blend of creamy and light. Very satisfied with the flavor and consistency. This minimal and approachable cafe does have wifi and there is one slimmer table that offers an outlet. My friend group sat comfortably at a larger wooden table. Everything about SweetVibe has been pleasant and it feels like I'll come here again for sure. You won't be disappointed if you like these kinds of cakes and tiramisu.

Came here after dinner a while back. It's a small boba spot, a little hidden. The man behind the counter was friendly. Prices are comparable to other boba spots.. we enjoyed the drinks we got, flavorful and sweet. I also loved the desserts that were available. Like an ube mousse, creamy and not too sweet. They also sell a few popular toys (squishy dumplings, so popular right now) cheaper than other places that are selling them. Small parking lot. Definitely worth checking out.

The cakes here are AMAZING!!!!!! Ordered the soy milk cake - it was soo creamy, moist, and fluffy and not too sweet. They're in boxes so great as dine in or to go. Got the mango pomelo slush which was also delicious.

This is such a cute little shop! It's tucked away behind the taco shop next to Wendys, so you have to really look for it. The store itself is small but nice and clean and bright. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We came here after dinner and saw that they had art for sale as well! Gorgeous art by a local Chinese artist. I actually ended up grabbing a lovely print. We also ordered a pistachio cream cake and a sea salted Oreo cake. The pistachio was a little light flavored for me but soooo well made and delicious. The salted Oreo one was AMAZING. The frosting/cream was so rich and flavorful and the cake was so moist and delicate. And for 9 dollars, WELL worth the price. Will definitely be back to try more!

Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! I had this place bookmarked since they opened because of their boxed cakes, but I wasn't sure if it would live up to the hype. Some noted them to be dry, and others noted that the flavors could be stronger. I am happy to report that ours were neither dry nor lacked in flavor! We ended up trying their seasonal peach oolong cake and taro cake. The cake layers in each were super soft, the cream layers were super smooth, and the flavors matched their designated descriptions. If you're looking for something different, go with the peach oolong - tastes just like the tea, which makes me think they steep the tea im cream before whipping it up. If you're in the mood for a more trendy flavor, go with the taro - it's light and present without being overpowering. Prices were reasonable in my opinion, especially since they come in clear plastic containers - $6.99 for the peach oolong and $8.99 for the taro. The only thing I wish was that each cake had another type of layer. Peach oolong could have had some pieces of fresh white peach, and taro would have been nice with a layer of taro paste. As for service, it was average. The girl helping us was sweet but also did not know what their cake products tasted like. I was wondering which ones she preferred, if this one was better than that one, and she admitted she never tasted the products. As a customer, I would have appreciated if she did. That's just a small thing, and overall, I would come back! If you're looking for individual size cakes, I'd recommend this place over Paris Baguette. Anyways, can't wait to try their melong Jasmine cake and other dessert offerings.

    Fruit slush with boba

I've been in mourning since my fruit tea spot of choice, CHAKAA, closed down a mile or so away. On the hunt for an alternative, I found my way to Sweet Vibe: an unassuming boba shop behind El Gordo Mexican food driving down convoy. I pulled in, parked in the small lot, and found my way into a late-night, brightly lit shop with more variety of boba drinks than I'm used to. Score! WHAT TO GET Fruit tea, yogurt drinks, fruit slush, fresh milk / milk tea, regular tea plus coffee... and all the regular toppings including 4 different types of boba, jellies, foam and even dessert toppings from flan and Oreo to panna cotta?? This is a boba varietal dream!! I love their yogurt drinks: there's a tanginess to these that the regular milk teas do not have. It's refreshing, savory sweet, and filling. Most days though, since I am dairy free, I get... my fruit slush boba! Finally, a replacement for my old shop. The fruit tea is slightly tangy, but balanced with a sweet tapioca ball. I also love that this is just a slush, no tea added, since I don't want caffeine at night. Have an even greater sweet tooth? They've got a bunch of refrigerated desserts -- different flavored small cakes and tiramisus. BOBA QUALITY - 10/10 My rating for boba shops always comes down to two things: freshness of the tea and quality of the boba. A good brown sugar boba, to me, is sweet but not artificially so; has a nice chew without being too hard. I've only found 3 perfect bobas in San Diego: Camellia, Alfred, and Sweet Vibe. Yay! SERVICE Two large kiosks to the left of the service counter welcome you to come pick your pleasure, and pay right there. If you have questions there are always 1-2 people you can ask behind the counter. When you feel like breezing through service, the iPads are pretty nice. INTERIOR Ample seating, with three group tables, a countertop in the corner with about 4 high seats, plus 2 more chairs in the corner to wait in. They also have a bathroom! There are two PlushStation claw machines as well if you feel like playing your hand at a game I never seem to be good at PARKING this may be the only negative here: a small lot of about 10 spots with the other row reserved for the Mexican shop tends to fill up. At night, around 7 pm on, the lot can get pretty full. We've never had a problem finding a spot for about 15 minutes to grab a drink and go, though! Thank you sweet vibe for meeting my high standards for boba

Service was fast and easy! The peach jelly has no dairy so I couldn't wait to try it! Very refreshing which was great because it was hot out! Very clean inside and free Wi-Fi so you can study for that big exam. They have digital kiosks too if you are shy. Love the lids so you can use a straw or sip. I hate having to pop the plastic top at some drink places. Tea gets everywhere which I hate. I was able to enjoy my peach oolong without any spillage or disasters which gave me a...SWEET VIBE

Tucked behind a drive through mexican restaurant. Parking is awful as is eveywhere on Convoy. Its cute inside. Staff was friendly enough. Kiosk ordering. Expensive! Some items were worth it, some not. You pay for aesthetics for sure. The Peach Oolong Cream Cake was the stand out for us as far as flavor.

Decent tea joint. Located in Convoy, with reasonable parking available. Cute decor and seating inside. Grape lemon fruit tea: 4/5 - interesting flavor, grape fruit pieces & lemon slices in the drink. Despite ordering as less sugar, it was still pretty sweet. Tasted better after the ice melted. Peach oolong tea: 3.5/5 - love the soft jelly & peach pieces. However, the oolong tea was bitter (either steeped too long, or with too hot of water when they made the tea). I would've ordered regular sweetness if I knew the tea was going to be so bitter, but alas, would not know ahead of time. Their other fruit tea flavors sound yummy, so I'm down to come again to try more flavors!

Sweet Vibe is a cute Taiwanese/Chinese dessert shop that's also open late, therefore perfect as a place to hang out with friends after dinner. **Food/Drink Review** Pistachio Cream Cake (3.5/5): Wished the cream was satisfying but resembled high fat cake cream that holds its shape but isn't as tasty. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger too. Uji Matcha Foam with Strawberry Fresh Milk and Floating Duck (3/5): It was more akin to matcha latte with strawberry jam and fruit on the bottom. If it was actually concocted as Korean/Japanese style strawberry milk with matcha foam, it would have been better. I see this shop as more of a late night option for a gathering place. It isn't going to serve top-of-the-line boba or desserts, but they are nice enough to have while catching up with people. Would visit again for that purpose.

Nice little shop tucked behind El Gordo Mexican food, parking is limited but never an issue when I stop in. There's a couple self-order kiosks. The drinks are tasty, of course customized to your preference. Fast- friendly service.

I always only get the Honeydew Bubble at 50% sugar with light boba. Tell me why it still tastes like 100% sugar? The same thing happened with the Mango Sago, which was wayyy too sweet. And what makes it even more disappointing is that they've raised their prices. One drink is now just under $10, so when I'm paying that much for ONE drink, I expect the recipe and quality to be consistent every time. Another thing that really bothers me is seeing the girls working with their hair completely down. It's honestly pretty off-putting when you're handling food and drinks, and I really hope the team is being properly trained in food safety and hygiene standards. I genuinely love Urban Bubble, which is why this is so disappointing. Please adjust the sugar levels or train the team to follow the recipes more consistently!
