I ordered from a kiosk and the drinks came out within 5 minutes. Very quick service! I got a Japanese Brown Rice Tea, with 70% sweet and added boba for an extra $1. My son ordered a Thai Tea with 70% sweet and added boba. Brown rice tea was great, tasted just like genmai, but sweet and creamy. Thai tea was a bit subpar, light on the flavor and too sweet even at 70%. There are a few tables to sit at and chat. The place is decorated with a wall of lanterns for a cute backdrop.
After trying BoBaPOP for years, I'm glad to say that they've remained a spot in my quality boba spots list. They've upgraded their menu choices over the years and this spot is popular for many who like to come and study or work on their devices. Aesthetically, this spot is perfect, very cute interior that has the tropical cafe type vibe, and there's moderate amount of tables to accommodate. Love that they have a self ordering kiosk but ordering with the staff is also applicable. My partner and I haven't been in awhile so this was the perfect opportunity to visit, we ended up trying two new drinks we haven't tried from BoBaPOP and we weren't disappointed at all. I'd say that the toppings are plentiful in variety but the toppings are more expensive than other boba shops. --Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea w/ Brown Sugar Crystal Pearls-- A standard drink at most boba shops and this is no different. Very rich, refreshing, and with a 50% sugar adjustment, it was perfect sweetness. A extra flavoring was added with the crystal pearls and it was perfect. It was a new topping that I've never tried before and I would recommend it to anyone who likes brown sugar, wasn't hard at all and easy to sip. --Flower Green Milk Tea w/ Milk Pudding-- A new drink that my partner wanted to try, and most definitely a very floral taste. It was surprisingly very tasty and had that botanical garden vibe when drinking. Milk pudding is a nice added touch to the drink and a drink I would recommend to anyone that wants to try a new drink. Overall, BoBaPOP Tea Bar is always worth a look if you want to expand your boba taste. They have plenty of specialty drinks worth trying and one of the best perks are their AMAZING CUTE CUPS. Having a cute pug as their cup design is beyond cute and they're definitely one of the top cup designs out there. Some would even purchase just for the cups themselves. Very detailed and social media worthy!
6/23/25 Monday Ordered thru UberEats for pick up. They had a 20% off promo on UberEats. When we arrived (around 8:30 PM) we had to wait around 5 minutes after our ETA for the order to come out. Got the taro shake. It was creamy and delicious. Smooth without icy chunks. There's plenty of indoor seating. Looks very modern and the decor is very aesthetic and cute. Nice hang out or study space. Spacious too. Plenty of parking during this time.
My husband decided to get me a drink from BoBaPOP today! I was unsure what to get. I went here years ago when they first opened and it didn't wow me. So I never returned. I decided on an Almond Milk Tea and a Tokyo pistachio matcha latte. I tried the Tokyo pistachio matcha latte. I do not like matcha. It's just a taste I can't get used to. But this drink is bearable. I found the sweetness perfect and it is really creamy. I actually enjoyed it! I'll give my review on the almond milk tea later. :) Overall the drink tasted really good. I would get this again. 9/10 EDIT: I tried the almond milk tea. It's been the flavor I've been chasing for a long time. I've tried almond milk tea at every boba spot and it just doesn't have that taste. 10/10 (for me) sweetness was just right. I will be coming here again and again!

What in the world??? This drink was no good. Just not good flavoring, and even worse the boba texture. If you're a boba fanatic like I am, you know good boba from bad boba. The texture was not it. The milk tea was also not it. It was also like 90 degrees outside and all they had were fans running. That's a no no for me. Parking is available right outside shares w other establishments.
Found this place on Yelp as I was driving SVG looking for a boba place. It caught my eye because of the cute frenchie on their cups. Upon walking in, there is a lot of seating, perfect for hanging out or studying. There were 2 kiosks for you to order. There was a variety of selections to choose from. I kind of kept if safe with my drinks and ordered roasted oolong milk tea for my friend and I got jasmine brown rice green milk tea, both with Boba. We both enjoyed the drinks. My friend especially enjoyed the texture of the boba & the cup because he has a frenchie... one of the main reasons I chose this place to try out. Whenever I am in the SGV area, I definitely would stop by and try this place out again.
The drinks here are really refreshing & unique. I personally like the dodgers dream float, brown rice milk tea, and banana milk the best here. I love the ambiance here. Not only is it cutely decorated with lanterns, signs, and chalkboard art, the place is really beautifully lit. My friends and I can sit here and chat for hours. The service is always on point too!

The croissant was crispy and flavored with condensed milk my fav Boba Pop has some of my favorite fresh teas including flower green tea and Japanese brown rice tea. Definitely recommend trying Boba Pop if you haven't yet, they have a few locations around the SGV area. Great service! The store has a few tables and it's pretty spacious.
Very disappointing and misleading. I ordered a "large" hot jasmine green tea, but the cup I received was only about 10 cm tall, which is closer to a small size. This is especially misleading because the restaurant's large cold drink is significantly bigger. When placed side by side, the size difference is obvious. Labeling both as "large" is not reasonable. On top of that, the taste was poor. The tea barely had any jasmine aroma or flavor. I regularly drink jasmine green tea from "Tea Station Express" in temple city, and the difference is huge -- this tasted flat, weak, and nothing like proper jasmine tea. Between the misleading sizing and the low quality of the drink, this was not worth the price. I would not recommend ordering any tea from here.
The croissant with boba was good! It's a dessert for me! It was pretty empty when we went, and food came out fast. I think you need a code for restroom and we never asked. They have a game section where you can just grab and play. Like some small boba or dessert shops. I had a great time there with my group, playing games while waiting for food. One star off: the picture on tablet was misleading. I thought it was croissant and a boba drink for that one price but I was wrong....
Great place for boba! Me and my sister came here for a meetup. She ordered a brown sugar milk with boba, while I ordered a roasted oolong milk tea with boba. The colorful lanterns and cute decor was also a huge plus. On a whim, we decided to try the boba croissant, which wouldn't typically be something I would find appealing, but I'm glad we decided to give it a try because it was SO good! Just picture a warm fluffy and flaky croissant with cream and warm brown sugar boba. It honestly blew me away and was so good that I ended up ordering another one to bring home for my kids! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the SGV area!
Have been coming to Boba Pop Tea Bar for years and I always get the Roasted Rice Jasmine Milk Tea (with boba for $1). The roasted rice flavor is unique and has a good balance of tea flavor and sweetness. I wish more places offered this flavor! My brother got the Thai milk tea and this one I would not reorder. The tea flavor was very weak and even though we lessened the sweetness, it was still too sweet. Still, one of my favorite boba shops in the SGV. read more

10/13/2024 - I enjoyed two BoBaPOP Tea Bar drinks today. The boba is soft and elastic as well as freshly toasted croissant with chewy boba. At present, the owner has two other locations in Glendale and Azusa. The Brown Sugar Latte is my favorite. read more
One of my favorite hangout spots to grab boba with friends! Super cute shop with colorful lantern decorations, and there are quite a few tables and seats. They have additional stools stacked on the side as well. Good spot to catch up with a friend or bring your laptop and study/work while enjoying boba, since they also have wifi here. My go-to is the BobaPOP Milk Tea Bobapop, which is the #1 customer favorite here. If you like a good classic milk tea with boba (which is my preference whenever I go to boba shops), this is a great option. But they have tons of other great options here like foam teas, milk teas, fruit teas, lattes, etc. My friend's favorite drink here is the Mango Slush, which I also really enjoy since it's nice and refreshing. Service is always wonderful! The servers have been very nice and friendly while taking my order. Definitely a great spot that I always look forward to visiting! read more
Love the Darling milk tea! Like a regular milk tea, but tastier. If you're into a more unique flavor, I recommend the Japanese rice milk tea. Especially with milk pudding! Parking is straightforward in a lot. Inside is really chill with some seats and games. Would come again! read more

Been coming to bobapop for years! I love the brown sugar latte here. I love how they also have card games now and even some small foods like this bubble and cream croissant. The croissant is warm and yummy! Comes with lots of boba in it!! They have a couple tables to sit and chill as well. They have a lantern backdrop and sell merch as well! read more
Great spot for those that want more than just boba. I'm a boba lover and usually stick to that but I got to experience various other add ons and was truly hyped. The slush is usually my go to but the teas were really flavorful. Cool decorated wall while the other side is less busy and focused towards those looking to get work done and not make videos like I did! Hahahah, the wall was a must to use for these shots. PARKING: It's a medium sized parking lot. Personally, I've never seen it full. But if you run into that trouble, there's free street parking. Just be wary of traffic, Valley is a pain in the butt, iykyk. SEATING: I've never sat down here before but I know there's more than a couple of tables. There's also board games as well! Whenever I come, there's almost always some people just hanging out. They're always playing great music too. Shout out to the boba-ristas! SERVICE: The boba-ristas are always nice! However, I have been opting to order with the self checkout kiosk as it's just easier for me. Sometimes it's nicer to not have to talk to someone when you order. The drinks always come out fast! I don't think I've ever waited more than five minutes ever. Give or take, the most I've ever ordered at one time is 3 drinks and it's still always so quick. FOOD: My usual is the large iced Japanese Brown Rice milk tea ($5.75) which I love so much! I get it at 50% sugar. It just hits the spot. They really get the flavor down as it's not too overwhelming or too watered down. I don't know how to really explain the taste but it's delicious. Trust. The other drink in my order was the Strawberry Slush ($5.75) that only comes in the medium size and I added brown sugar pearls ($1.00). Another classic you can't go wrong with. The boba is always so soft, chewy and yummy! OVERALL: A staple in the 626 with consistent service and quality. I will always recommend this place to people who ask me for boba places to go to!! The shop's cozy and is a great place sit with friends. Service was quick and got my drinks fast. I got a hot Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea which was brewed with a dark amber color. The flavor tasted flat, very bitter/drying, and lacked the floral or roasted layers that I usually expect from this tea. It didn't have the sweet aftertaste that makes Tie Guan Yin enjoyable and instead left my mouth feeling very dry. I'm guessing the leaves were low-grade or it was oversteeped. I'd love if the shop carried a higher quality version. Not the best tea, but it's okay a casual milk tea. read more

I really wanted this place to be better. Wasn't able to try food there was only popcorn available . Hopefully they can fix that soon. This Boba place stays open really late, which is super convenient. The service is fast and quick. I can't complain about that. . There's plenty of parking and this location seems to draw a nice crowd. They have plenty of space for people who want to just hang out or do schoolwork. This place is on point with their ambience . It's very hipster and trendy, and it draws your eye in making you want to come back. Some of the drinks were a little watery for my taste. I do recommend matcha pistachio latte Pros 1 stays open late 2 Great place for a group or study session 3 plenty of Space for parking Cons 1 there can be a really long line 2 theirs only popcorn 3 drinks, taste water down I would probably only come back if it was the only place open . I've always wanted to try Bobapop after hearing a lot of good things about them from my friend, especially their adorable Frenchie boba straps. I finally got a chance to try it this weekend, and I am in love! They focus on premium tea & cold brew coffee. I had their Japanese brown rice milk tea and Taro milk tea. Their Japanese brown rice milk tea is a must-try due to its premium quality and delicious taste. And I also love, love, love their taro milk tea (I am a big fan of taro). You can also customize your drink experience by choosing the sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and from a variety of topping options. There are so many options on the menu, you will definitely find something perfect for yourself. The service is excellent and quick, and they offer a great atmosphere with board games and tables where you can chat and have fun with your friends. We came across this place looking for a quick spot to get some boba. Right off the bat I loved the ambiance of this place. There were colorful lanterns, lots of seating, and a couple games to play while you sip on your drink. Their menu was huge with so many options. I ended up choosing the lychee milk tea. We also ordered a black tea, Vietnamese coffee, taro milk tea and kiwi milk tea. It took about 5, maybe 10 minutes for everything to be made. The person at the counter was super nice, she gave us a bag to put some of the drinks in. The lychee flavor was pretty good, I would say sort of subtle, and the boba was cooked perfectly, chewy and sweet. Overall a really nice place, I would totally come again to try more things. read more

I've been to this place twice, and both times the place was clean and a cool environment. The space is really lowkey, but the ambiance is mellow inside. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, with positive service. The first time I went in, I tried a pink drink and it was super good! This time around I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake Latte and it tasted just like the food! It was a bit overly sweet for ME, but it was good! read more

Surprisingly good quality tea in Glendora. I'm very particular about teas and their flavor, and Bobapop was an unexpected win. They have traditional Taiwanese teas on their menu which have a nice, strong flavor. It's a pretty unassuming storefront so I wasn't expecting much, but the quality speaks for itself. The only negative is that I paid an extra $0.75 for grass jelly in my drink, and I feel like they barely added any. If you look at the picture, you can barely see any grass jelly, so that was disappointing. I'd recommend trying their signature milk teas hot rather than iced, since it brings out the tea flavor more. read more
Best Jasmine Milk Tea I have had all year and that's a big statement coming from me since I'm such a boba addict. I'm so bummed I ordered a medium and not a large. I jumped in an Uber to head back to DTLA and was so mad at myself for not ordering a larger size cup. Haha. The tea taste was prominent just as I enjoy it and my request for zero on the sweetness was granted. I did add toppings but even the toppings didn't add a sugar-y taste to my drink. Many boba shops drench their toppings in syrups or add sweeteners to them so it significantly increases the sweetness to the drink once the topping(s) are added. These guys did an excellent job with perfecting that balance. I'm a fan so I will be back! read more

When I called, a friendly worker told me they were opened and wished me a the wonderful year without knowing if I was coming in or not. So that's already a plus in my book. When we got there, we noticed there were plenty of parking in the private plaza. They had an open area with plenty of seats inside. We quickly looked over the menu and I chose their signature Japanese Brown Rice milk Tea with crystal pearls and my boyfriend got their passionfruit green tea with herbal jelly. My boyfriend's tea was pretty standard and tasted pretty good but I really loved my Japanese brown rice milk tea. There was still a little bit of brown rice on the bottom and the crystal pearl had a nice chew to them. It's definitely different than any of the milk tea I've had before. I also love that you can customize the ice and the sweetness level. If you have a chance, please visit them. It's definitely worth a try. read more
