I call it historic town because all the buildings nearby are really old looking - like the Wild West kind of feel. Then there's a boba shop.. seems out of place but at least they serve good boba. We parked across the street at the train stop lot and walked over. But I think there might be parking available behind the store. Got two almond milk based drinks to share.. cookie n cream with boba and chocolate banana. His cookie n cream with boba tasted better, good chewy but not hard boba. Mine chocolate banana tasted almost like a protein shake- like powdery chocolate. Love the Halloween decorations.

I never heard of Boba, then somehow I got addicted to it. Now I try to find the best places for my Boba fix. Bobas Cuz makes great boba. I seem to always order the Thai Coffee with Boba, kind of like I always order a cheese pizza. The drink is tasty, one of the best that I have had. Service is a little slow but worth the wait. Great customer service and friendly staff make this a top Moorpark choice.

This place kept insisting that this was a regular tea when I asked for a passionfruit green tea. They had also put passionfruit boba in here which I didn't ask for. I told them it looks like a milk tea and they said this is how all of their teas come out. When I asked if they could switch it out for a regular jasmine milk tea they said that this is the exact same tea. How does that even make sense? When I asked if I could get a different drink, they tried to charge me for it, even though I said that this was not the drink that I had requested. They said since it was a small business the best they could do was give me half off. No refund, no drink replacement, poor customer service. The cashier kept trying to say it's because it's a small business, i've never heard of a small business not replacing a $9 drink (which is also overpriced). UPDATE: The owner messaged me directly through Yelp and is taking no responsibility even though they listened to the exchange I had with their employees. Unprofessional.

This is our go to spot! They take their time to do it right but sometimes it takes a while...we don't mind. Their selections are good and it's become quite the hangout spot for kids which is great but kind of loud with the music. If you wanna dance while waiting...this is your spot! My favorite flavor is taro Oreo so so good!

Got the honeydew. Boba was alright. Drink tasted amazing. You could tell that the drink was made with real tea and not just a bunch of powder. Inside looked like something off of instagram. We have been a big fan of bobas Cuz and we are happy we have something like this in Moorpark. Although we usually stick to the same drink, rarely do we choose a different flavor. Today, I ordered a Jasmin milk tea. Which was pretty good. My go to flavor is taro. Today was Black Friday, there was only one man working both front and back. I felt bad but he was pretty quick to get our drinks out. I like that they added seating inside and change the decoration as the seasons change. Signs were nicely lit and music wasn't too loud. Definitely a must try!

Those delicious black tapioca pearls of yumminess are definitely where it's at. I don't know what it is about this refreshing drink, but the Boba craze has suckered me in. Let's break it down... First, an amazing flavored Ice Cold milk tea. Then, a cup sealed with a plastic wrapper lid allowing you to shake & mix at your own free will. Next, you slam your giant straw through the sealed lid. Finally, you take your first refreshing swig as multiple tapioca pearls come flying up the straw into your mouth. Not only is it delicious, but it's an adventure. At Boba's Cuz in Old Town Moorpark, this is where the Boba game gets down. There's something special about a business that looks like a home on the exterior because you should know they will treat you like family once inside. From Bobas and smoothies to slushees and shakes, Bobas Cuz has got what you need to refresh your little soul. With some of the comfiest couches I've ever sat in, you may sit down and just never want to leave! My recommendation.. Go next door for lunch (Luna Llena) a little Mexican restaurant, then go to Bobas Cuz afterwards for a refreshing dessert-style drink. You can thank me later! =)

Very cute little boba shack right across from the train station! They have a few options for indoor seating, tons of menu diversity, and a super cute Mexican restaurant right next door. There's plenty of parking nearby and your order comes out pretty fast. Good spot to meet a friend or two, but would not recommend "dining in" for large groups. My best friend is super into boba and this place does it right. I, on the other hand, don't really enjoy choking on super chewy, slimy rice balls while trying to enjoy my smoothie, so I can't really tell you if this place is better than others. All I can say is the orange creamsicle boba was very sweet and refreshing, but there were so many balls in it, like more than normal, so I wouldn't come back, for that reason. Maybe other people like that though! It also gave me a weird stomach ache after, probably because of the sugar + dairy + hard to digest rice balls, combination. The location is very cute and the drinks are very picture friendly. They offer slushies, smoothies, teas and frappes. If you can't do dairy they have almond milk as a substitute. The gal working wasn't very personable but she worked quickly. Overall it was a typical boba experience, and I'm sorry I can't give you more than that cause I'm just not into it.

This place knows how to make Thai iced tea the proper way! Sweetness and creaminess all at the sweet spot of this drink. The Thai iced tea with boba and grass jelly is quite gas. It is very refreshing on a hot day like today. There is also a great selection for drinks and crepes, and I look forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu!

I was in town and had a craving for boba. Nice little shop and quick service. My Thai tea wasn't bad just a little strong since it had more tea than milk. Rated 4star because most boba shops I go to Thai tea is usually one of the cheapest options on the menu. $5 was a little pricy for it not being a fancy flavored drink. read more

This is a great little spot within walking distance of my apartment! I'm pretty picky about my Boba because I hate when it gets shriveled and cold. These ones are warm, chewy, and delicious. Exactly what you want and all the milk teas are delicious. It's well worth a trip. read more

Went there twice when staying in the area. They have wide variety of boba and shake flavors. I had both the Thai Tea and Jasmine Tea. Prices are about average as the rest but it makes it even better when supporting small local businesses. read more

Their drinks are amazing- they have good quality boba and know how to prepare it, and nearly every time I've gone there I'm in and out in just a few minutes. It really doesn't make any sense to me that a boba place would only have 3 tea options and then dozens of combinations of blended fruit syrup. Their fruit drinks aren't too bad, which is why I can't give them just 1 star, but their tea is awful and their boba pearls aren't sweet at all. There is nothing traditionally "boba" about this place, it's just a smoothie shop that throws tapioca pearls in as an afterthought, and at higher prices than I've seen at literally any other boba shop I've ever been to. Not a bad place for a fruity drink on a hot day, but don't come here expecting real boba. read more

My main boba go to is on the other side of Simi and since I like trying new things I figured why not. The staff was really nice and helpful. The menu is fairly limited, but for a new place I was really surprised at how together they are. I was bummed they didn't have any matcha, so I got a thai tea. The flavors aren't quite there, but I don't know that I could make it any better so props to them from bringing something new to that little town center. Absolutely going back again soon read more

I stopped by today as I was in the area and the place was new for me since I hadn't seen it before. I had a honeydew frozen boba tea, a change from my usual milk teas. The consistency and taste of the tea part was fine. On the other hand, the boba were actually quite hard and seemed as if they didn't have enough time to soak properly. My drink was made very quickly, and the girl at the front counter was polite. The inside was set up with tables and was filled with youngsters. Definitely geared toward the tween/teen audience with their vibe. All drinks are $5, which is quite pricey compared to other spots, but they do offer a large variety of flavors, including some really unique ones. I wouldn't come here to replace my regular spot, but if I was craving bubble tea and happened to be in the area, I might stop by. I would give it a 3.5, but not enough to round up to a 4. read more

Went here with my friend, and ordered a Thai Tea with boba and Ice, and I don't know if it was because it was a Wednesday or what was going on, but it was awful. The Thai Tai wasn't sweet, it had no sweetness to it. The boba was hard and wasn't pleased to chew. If I come back, I'll order something else, and not the Thai tea. But the atmosphere of the inside interior is really nice. Got nice sofas as well as chairs and tables. Looks like a good place to hang with a group of friends. read more

Went to this place for the first time. My son was playing at McDonalds and I saw other people with boba. I checked yelp and decided to go try it out. The staff was really nice and accommodated me having them put extra in a cup for my son since he doesn't drink a whole boba. I ordered the taro and it was AMAZING. I go to boba places all over socal so I know if it is good boba after the first visit. We will be back again forsure! read more

Like this place a lot! The horchata boba is SO GOOD the tapioca balls are not to soggy or hard. They are so good! And it is in- expensive. Wish they had more "normal" flavors. But they are still good and are inexpensive. I saved the other half and put it in the fridge and it was still good. read more

I'm so sorry but I tried giving this place multiple chances and every time it just failed. I had the green tea boba and the green tea just tasted way too artificial even the color was way to bright, like a neon green color, and I love green tea I've had green tea at other boba places and it's never been overly sweet or too bright. Then the boba itself is too hard it's not as chewy as ive had at other places i feel like they don't cook it correctly it's neither warm or soft enough. read more

And of course, I can't forget the pizza--it was absolutely amazing. The pizza arrived about 20-30 minutes later, and while delivery temperature can affect a pie, it usually cannot hide whether the pizza itself is well-made. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. The box had oil pooling on one side, which was not a great first sign. The crust was cooked around the edges, but the center was thin, soft, and doughy underneath. The added cheese and pepperoni were far too salty together, almost as if they belonged to a different pizza entirely, rather than working with the Margherita base. The basil was strong, which I expected from a Margherita-style pizza, but what felt missing were the diced or sliced tomatoes. Instead, it came across more like red sauce with heavy pizza seasoning, and not in a good way. Overall, the pizza felt rushed and should not have left the kitchen in that condition. I wanted to like it based on the reviews, but this was not a good pie. I'm hoping for better pizza options in the Camarillo/Thousand Oaks area moving forward. I won't be back.

On top of that, the service was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The inside of the shop was also a treat to see--clean, inviting, and just a really nice place to hang out and enjoy your drink. We usually go to places like Coffee Bean or Makena, but after this visit, I think we've found our new favorite spot. If you're in the area, this place is a must-try. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I also loved that the sandwich came with chips and salsa instead of fries. It felt lighter and honestly more satisfying than the usual sides you get at other places. The chocolate shake was tasty, and the service really stood out. Everyone was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. The inside was also very clean and well-organized, which made the experience even better. I drive by this spot all the time, and now I know I'll definitely be stopping in much more often!

Everybody at the party loved them, and the people that worked there were very helpful and friendly. Based upon this experience, we decided to try Carla's for our Christmas Eve tamales and chili rellenos. We got two dozen tamales ( pork and chicken) and 6 chilli rellenos. We've ordered tamales from several local restaurants, but these were easily the best we've had. Plenty of filling and delicious masa. We also got some of their red salsa as a topping. The chillis were huge and had a unique delicious flavor. The restaurant staff was again very friendly and helpful. I think we've found a new home for our Christmas Eve meal. The burrito was nothing like the first one I had. This one was watery, thin, and just tasted completely different. I assume it's because the chef at night makes them differently than the one in the AM who made the first one I had. Updating again, we have tried this place for a third time, and we placed an online order through their website about 45 minutes ago. We came to pick up the order, and they are so busy, they didn't even have the order, they only just put it in now. This is unfortunate because it creates an inconvenience for us. If you allow online ordering, you should have the order ready by the stated time. This does put a sour taste in our mouth.. However- this burrito was back to tasting as delicious as the first I had gotten. So it seems the morning is the time to have the breakfast burrito!

Honest rating: 3.5 stars, but rounding it up to four. Bobas Cuz is a small business that sells a variety of smoothies and drinks. Their drinks are delicious, service is great, and I love the vibe of the interior. Now onto my one criticism. I think it's safe to say that the most important part of boba is the tapioca pearls themselves. To me, perfect boba is soft and chewy throughout, with no hard interior. Can't say Bobas Cuz's boba met my expectations. Regardless, the drinks on their own are still good and it is still a convenient place to order refreshing drinks. read more

Came here a couple of days ago. I want to treat myself to some bubble tea from here. It was good and pretty tasty. The flavor kicks in with every sip, and it was good. I got to dine it and take it out. Bubble tea here was tasty, I can tell. And for customer service, the staff was smart and warm. simple interior and pretty comfy. So good! A huge selection of different kinds of drinks from fruit ones to coffee based, chocolate, slushy style, tea, etc. Any of which can have Boba added (among other things).
