I frequent this boba place, because it's the only one local, and unfortunately I crave boba ALL the time. It's hard to believe that a boba place would have a limited selection of teas. I would love to see more tea options, and less of the smoothies and such. I suppose it has to do with demand of the demographics though, right? I often have the jasmine tea with boba, and I've had the coconut/strawberry jellies and rainbow as well. The jellies lack flavor and almost have a chemical taste to it. The tea is not that great either... it's very weak. Now that I'm writing this review, I'm really questioning why I frequent this place! LOL! I LOVE BOBA! read more

This Boba place is so cute! The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I took my family who has never gotten it before and they helped them. We got the boba in the photo (strawberry watermelon) as well as jasmine tea with boba, strawberry mango with strawberry popping boba, strawberry lemonade with strawberry popping boba, cookies and cream blended with no boba, and Vietnamese coffee with boba. Over all very good! The only thing we would change is that the consistency of some of the blended drinks aren't thick enough and get hot and liquify quickly. Would recommend still! read more

I'm a huge fan of boba so I have tried many places, and honestly I am not a huge fan of Bobas Cuz. They don't give enough boba in comparison to the amount of drink (or at least didn't with mine) and the prices are pretty high. I have only tried their milk tea and to me it tasted like horchata, which is not what a milk tea should taste like. While I was excited for boba to come to this area, I am sad that it isn't as good as I hoped. I guess I'll have to keep driving elsewhere when I crave boba. read more

We ventured out on a 30 minute drive to a city we don't know & came across this gem. First time here & it surly won't be the last, we absolutely love it!! Coming from people who are huge boba fanatics, this was by far nothing close to the 4.5 star reviews on Yelp. I am sad to say that because the "Boba Cuz" title, design, presentation of the place, Yelp reviews, & drinks attracted us to go here. It was the closest boba shop in the area. Location: This is a house turned into a "mom-pop" boba shop deep into the neighborhoods of Moorpark with a very compact parking behind it. Ambience: As we walked into the location, you can tell the owners either live behind the shop or just built this shop as a family business. Clean, but more home looking inside with tables, couches, board games, & a television for their menu. Service: There was nothing wrong with our service! A girl kindly took our order & the gentleman in the back made our drinks. Order: - Small Green Tea Horchata with boba (2/5 stars): I love green tea & this was no where close to my "matcha" expectation. It didn't taste too sweet, but the mix with horchata just didn't go together. The boba was good, but they could add a little more. - Large Thai Tea smoothie with boba (2/5 stars): We always order thai tea whenever we go to either a thai restaurant or boba shop. It was good, but it just didn't taste like your ordinary thai tea. Maybe it was our order, but if you've been to several boba shops, their menu is mainly mainstream flavors. They do not have much of authentic Vietnamese flavors. Overall, this is a good place for kids to come in, grab a drink, & hang out. Other than the drinks, it's not on my to-go boba shop list. Súper cute little establishment totally still with the Moorpark small town vibe. The owner was very sweet and welcoming. Place is very clean and open and close to work which is nice. We got the Thai tea, jasmine milk tea and Pearl milk tea. ALL totally delicious. My only recommendation would be for Boba Cuz to carry more milk tea flavors... other than that this place is a little Gem. read more

Okay, I'll be totally up front about the fact that my boba standards are extremely high. Also that I routinely drive to places 25-30 miles away from my house solely to get excellent boba. Is Bobas Cuz fantastic? Nope. But it's quite decent...good, even. And I don't have to drive 25 minutes to get it. So, given the context, four stars seems totally fair. I'm a fan of the jasmine green milk tea, and their boba pearls are the best I've had within a 20 mile radius of Thousand Oaks. It's a bummer they don't have egg pudding, but maybe one day? My family stopped by yesterday and ordered the strawberry chocolate banana smoothie, and it was EXCELLENT. I bought it for my son, but I couldn't stop sneaking sips from his drink. It was like a cross between a chocolate covered banana and chocolate covered strawberries. The staff was friendly and very quick. The location was clean and we felt safe. I come here every Friday as a treat to myself for ending the week. We park our train at war park, I cross the street and I go get my favorite smoothie... The Oreo Taro smoothie. It's quite delicious. I've also had the orange Creamsicle smoothie, so good! The service is very nice and they always have music playing, makes you feel like you're at a club when you walk in. Both were made the same "milk based" ‍ I was told if I wanted water based I had to specify (even though a slush is water based AND in the slush menu it states "water based"). I went there looking forward to trying their Thai tea but I never got a chance to order. I walked in and there was no line. The lady working in the back was talking to a customer who was waiting for her order. I stood there waiting patiently for 3 minutes as they talked to each other and I received no acknowledgement. I then rang the bell the lady said I will be with you in a minute. 5 minutes passed as I stood there as they continued to talk. I dont know how a Boba place can have 2 tea options and 20 smoothie options. Flavors are ranging from super sweet to even sweeter, so make sure to ask them to tone it down. Most of the boba I got seemed hard and stuck together.... it was awful. On the up side the service was good and my drink came out quickly. This place really just seemed like a glorified shake and smoothie place that tasted similar to what you get at a donut shop. read more
