I had to replace a hard to find deadbolt design which was frankly a bit worn. I tried taking it to major box stores but you guessed it, they advised that there was not much they could do and pointed me to the expensive new sets on the shelves. Having dealt with Bob's Locks before, I figured I would give them a shot before I spent well over $100+ for a new deadbolt which would fit my door. In a matter of seconds BOB's Locks unlocked the frozen cylinder others were telling me was near impossible to do and within minutes replaced it. For all intents and purposes I believed this hard to find item was simply dead, however, they gave it new life and I am thankful not only for the money and hassle they saved me but for their honesty, competency, and great service. I can't recommend this place enough. My 4 year old nephew lost the key to my father's 1970s Datsun. After ordering several incorrect ignition lock cylinders from eBay I decided to see if someone could make a key based on the old cylinder. I drove to two other places first and was starting to lose hope. I walked into Bob's with the cylinder in my hand and only made it a few steps before the guy behind the counter said "Looks like you've got an old Datsun." I knew I was in good hands. They said they could make a key and call me when it was done. I figured it would be a couple days. They called me in a little over an hour! Next time I need a lock or key for anything I'm coming straight here. read more

Great place, great customer service, i don't usually give 5 stars but i can't think of anything negative. I work with my brother in his business and we are always needing keys and locks, cut and stamped, these guys are fast and efficient and prices are fair. All the guys are very nice and they work as a team, if someone isn't sure they ask and find out instead of guessing or short cutting you. The lock replacement alone was $169 compared to $35 quoted on a simple lock. We knew the prices were outrageous but didn't want to schedule with a different provider since our tenant already wasted most of the day waiting for B1. The technician finished the job within 15 min.
