We stopped by for a quick lunch. It was very quiet and the staff was super attentive, helpful, and friendly. The inside is very inviting and would be a great place to hang out with friends at the bar for some nice drinks. We ordered three meals, the kids quesadilla, pear salad with steak, and enchilada but with Mole sauce. We weren't paying attention to the order and didn't realize we don't like mole. Staff was so nice and helped us pick out something more in line with our palette- tacos durado! Very delicious!

2 chicken birria tacos, consomme, and a chorizo taco

Boca is overpriced for extremely mid Mexican food. The chicken birria tacos were good but they were $6 a piece and did not come with the consomme. Consomme was an extra $3 for a very small portion. The chorizo taco was dry and did not have enough meat for a $4.5 taco. My friend got rice and beans with her tacos and was surprised that the rice was unseasoned plain white rice... for $5 a cup! They also didn't refill my water at all. I can't say I'd recommend Boca with much better Mexican food nearby at a much more reasonable cost.

Food Service and Ambience is amazing! I live in the area and have been meaning to stop by for weeks however today I was leaving my nephews condo and heard the music and I came in. Chris, Fielipe and Jaxson are the bartenders who took care of me. Their customer service was so welcoming and the drinks were most definitely on point. I came for tacos and had a margarita"s as well as a beer and the drinks were well worth it. The tacos were delicious and just the right size bite for me. The taste of fresh ingredients was consistent in every bite. I strongly recommended this place, you can't go wrong. It is a must check out, trust me. This place is a hidden jewel!

stopped by for an early dinner with friends. This is close to their place and had been on their list for a while. It is no where near us so I don't know if we will be back but if they wanted to, we would go happily. Menu was kind of limited -I'd say this is a good option if you ahve picky kids in your party. Nothing was really outstanding or memorable aside from the churros. I have to say they were SO GOOD! Highly recommend ordering them. That being said nothing was bad either. Just not remarkable aside from the churros. We sat on the patio which was fine. Lots of seating. I didn't actually go inside at all but it looked like it was cute but maybe a bit tight. Our server was nice and quick. But had to keep checking inside to answer questions - not sure of she was new or just not great at her job. Hopefully se was new. We weren't in a rush so it really didn't matter much to us. Parking was. a little complicated. There are street parking, and lots across the street on every side. I'm not sure of they have their own lot though - I don't think that they did. At the end of the day I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but would return if our local friends wanted to without complaint.

This was probably the worst meal and service I have received in a while. Starting with service. I had to ask several times for a glass of water. My food and cocktails came out before I received my water. The shrimp salad had way too much Old Bay seasoning on it. The mushroom taco was disgusting and I love mushrooms. My boyfriend didn't enjoy is taco either (not pictured) We could've made better tacos at home by ourselves. The only thing that was good was the margaritas we ordered. Everything else was subpar including the service.

I came here on a Wednesday evening. There was only one other party there when we arrived. We were seated and ordered a Texas and spicy margarita. They were both decent, liked that it was only $10. My friend got the beef taco plate and said the beef was seasoned but a little dry. Ambiance is a little dry in there, but if they had some good music and warmed it up a bit, it could be a nice vibe. (Parking - street in lot across the street

This is a cute place in good old gentrified summerhill. With that comes some hefty prices for tacos. I found the food to be good, but for the quality of the ingredients ($7 per taco) the prices can be a little hefty. The salsa sampler is good. About 8 salsas come out I believe. My fave was the spicier salsa. Tequila shots were $15. That's steep. Otherwise great experience. Cute vibe and staff is nice. I would return. FYI they don't have a happy hour!

This is a great place for some tacos. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The bar area is really cute. We went on Saturday afternoon and got seated right away. You can see the tacos being made from the glass which is pretty cool. The food was yummy and the drinks were tasty. Definitely coming back here.

They make their tortillas from scratch... their entire menu's ingredients are from Mexico! They have a bar, dining Rm, & patio space. Although the space hosts about six tables and a long high top for about a dozen seats, their food is undeniable delish!!!

I came here after a show with a group of friends and wow did we have a great experience here! The workers offered fantastic service and were helpful with any questions we had with the menu. The inside dining area was quite spacious and well decorated with a great view of the kitchen and the tortilla making area. They have a great menu with plenty of dishes to choose from and after some thinking, I went for their special which is birria tacos and I chose beef for my meat along with a Modelo to go with it. They gave us complimentary chips & salsa while we waited for our appetizers. We ordered the Herby Guacamole & the Crema De Frijol which were both delicious and were good portions for the price we paid($10-$13 each). Both dips were very fresh and had great flavor and I loved the homemade tortilla chips that paired well with them! When the birria tacos came out, they looked amazing. I quickly dug into them and I was impressed at how they were! The consome was a bit on the thicker side which was fantastic when dipped with the tacos. The consome had great flavor and was not bland at all and the tortillas were delicious. The beef was chewy and flavorful and not overcooked and well-seasoned. Towards the end of our meal, the owners enjoyed our company so much that they brought out free mezcal shots on the house which I thought was very kind and grateful! The service here was impeccable and I would for sure recommend coming here if you are in the downtown area and want some quality Mexican food! You won't be disappointed! Great service and great food.

Cute place with very expensive food. It's fine dining prices at a place that is not fine dining. It's definitely a disconnect. We had... Bean dip - good Meatballs- good Al pasto taco- hood Steak taco - good quality meat Nothing blew me away, especially at the price point. The waitress was very friendly!

Breakfast burrito with a side of home style potatoes Mexican style.

We went on an empty day and it took over an hour to get our food. The menu is extremely basic, I wouldn't even call it Mexican food.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

It was a little pricey at $14 for 3 small-ish tacos, but each taco was packed with meat. I also got a taco de la abuela with pastor meat. For their street tacos, they have normal street tacos for $3.25, or for $0.25 more you can get the same taco with a handmade tortilla (aka taco de la abuela). I didn't try a normal taco, so not sure if there's a notable difference in the tortilla, but I thought the pastor taco was solid as well. I felt like perhaps it was lacking a little in flavor? But I do appreciate the amount of meat that's given. The slices of pineapple are nice as well - very authentic. Throughout my dining experience, most customers were picking up/taking orders to go. The restaurant is kept clean and there's a serve yourself salsa bar. I'm glad that I've found a good taco spot nearby! Parking is a bit limited as the lot is small and is shared with other small restaurants as well.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.
