If I could give this dump no stars I would. I got 6 tacos. 4 asada 2 carnitas all with onions, cheese and quacamole. Sauce on the side, I get home and the first bite of my carnitas was a piece of a bone. My wife took a bite and 90% of it was just fat. We both agree our tacos were flavorless no matter how much sauce or salt we put on them. The employees were rude and mean. From now on I'm driving to La Puente to get my tacos at Taco Del Rio. I would have to agree with some of these folks as far as the lack of flavor in the salsa is constant. The lack of flavor in the meats (except the carnitas my buddy says. I don't eat it) and the extra grease on an occasional basis. And the fact they don't have rice. That's why i don't get a burrito. I do also think they compensate with the cheese and sour cream for some reason. But my buddy goes there all the time or the carnitas tacos and I'll always grab an Asada taco or two if I'm with him. read more

I've been to this location about 5 times and I always get the carne asada tacos with everything on it ($2.20 each). Their tacos come with a ton of ingredients, which makes their prices very competitive for the value that you are getting. The burritos are good as well, but they are too much food for me. Horchata is yummy too. The parking lot is a little crammed and small, but you will always find extra spots along the sides of other buildings or even on the streets. It gets a little busy during noon. I would recommend that you come here if you want tasty food with friendly service. read more

I go to school up the street from here and this is seriously one of the best places for tacos and burritos in the area. During the school year I go here at least once a week. Same two hard working people running it everyday. I suggest a burrito with pastor and hit sauce....always hits the spot. read more

I try to look for tasty tacos near the covina vicinity and was happy to have given them a try. Will probably try either their nachos, burritos, or even a quesadilla. I finally did yesterday and was very dissapointed. :( the staff was polite and there was no line in fact there were no other customers around. I ordered an asada burrito, no tortilla. My boyfriend had the combo asada burrito, we paid $14 even. The meat, guac, and salsa were tasteless. The meat seemed boiled not grilled, very bland and a little tough. The salsa was not spicy at all and literally tasteless. We got our meal to go and I added salt at home which helped a little. I won't be coming here again. Maybe the la puente location is better?
