Went here for a date night. The aesthetics of the restaurant is cute and modern. There are seats inside, and out front, as well as around the bar which is centered in the middle of restaurant. My husband and I got calamari, flatbreads and lobster wontons. I must admit that I was underwhelmed by everything I had; down to the drink. I had a hibiscus that came very dramatically with a bubble on top that gets popped, but the taste of the drink didn't match the dramatics. The food choices excited me when I seen the menu but the food was very mediocre. Our flatbread came out cold and we had request for a new order so that the cheese could actually be melted and hot. We ordered Brussels sprouts but they were out so the manager offered to give something else on the house. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential, especially for a place like Lake Mary where more restaurants and social places are needed - but the food needs improvement. My server was very kind and was more than willing to honor our requests during our time there. I'm on the fence on whether or not I would return. read more

My husband and I have a hard time going anywhere else except Boca. We are a bit obsessed. Everything we've tried has been spectacularly delicious. Our favorite is the Brussels sprouts appetizer! I have been here on a few date nights, a girls night, and a double date night, and each time, the service has been amazing - with wait staff that is very kind and personable. Service took a while on a thursday night but all of the staff was very friendly. The bolognese was tasty I just prefer mine a little more savory and a deeper red. The ambiance is very cute, gives a nice night out in miami almost if you sit outside. Would return for sure. read more

This restaurant delivered a flawless experience. The sweet potato ñoqui was pure comfort coated in a velvety sauce, I enjoyed each bite. Pairing beautifully with the food was their Old Fashioned, subtly smoky, perfectly muddled, and finished with a hint of citrus that elevated the entire meal. Went here for lunch with a couple of girlfriends. When I first walked in it was very clean and inviting. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She was very professional and polite. Brittany B was the only bright spot of our experience today unfortunately. It started with an extremely rude hostess once we told her we did not have reservations. Our waitress Brittany was so sweet and attentive! My husband and I had a very soggy flatbread with great flavor but an underdone crust so it was not good. We shared the brussel sprouts which were the best part of all our food. Our friend got the burger and asked to have broccolini instead of fries. His plate had 4 strips of broccolini and he was charged a $3 up charge for that. Brittany did take the charge off his bill when he asked about the extremely small portion. We are conflicted about going back because for the cost of our meal, we definitely did not get what we paid for. Sorry Boca, but we came with high hopes but left disappointed. read more

The atmosphere was lovely but not fine dining. We had the ahi tuna and zucchini fries. The tuna was recommended by Brett our waitress and it was incredible and fresh. The fries were soggy but the flavor was there. Brett recommended the blood orange cocktail and the old fashioned for my husband. Which were excellent recommendations. My husband ordered the OMG burger and I ordered the pork tacos. The pork was a tad dry and but the purple cabbage was a good crunch for the taco. My husbands burger was perfect and hearty. So overall the food was good but our waitress Brett was very attentive and had incredible recommendations. I should not have deviated from her recommendation of the Sweet potato gnocchi. Visited Boca again today. Sat at the bar again for brunch with bartender, Maggie. She's super knowledgeable about drinks and the menu. Her recommendations were spot on! Flavorful menu items! The ambiance is relaxed and the bar seats are super comfy, although they slide very easily. The fried green tomatoes concept is fabulous with the pimento cheese and jam accompaniments but have been hit or miss with execution. Tried the lobster wontons today. Cooked well but they lacked lobster flavor and seemed under seasoned. The chicken and waffles come with a large portion of perfectly seasoned and fried chicken, hearty gravy and two perfect Belgian waffles with crispy sugar pearls inside. It's a very large portion and my favorite way to get it is with waffles separate, both to preserve texture and for leftovers. Also tried the pig and the bee flatbread. Again, huge portion. Crispy flatbread. Smoky flavor. Loved the hot honey drizzle with the smoky meat toppings. Watched as they carefully crafted several other cocktails including a hibiscus martini with a citrus bubble on top and another adorned with some type of spray just as it left. Totally worth a visit. I went to Boca in Lake Mary for the first time last night for dinner and then visited again today for brunch. I'm excited to see this new restaurant in the area grow. The decor and ambience is really nice very contemporary and modern and welcoming. The staff is also super friendly last night. I had a bartender named Jordan, who was amazing. In addition, the whole team and even management extremely nice and always checking on customers which adds a nice personal touch. I tried the scampi sauce seafood pasta as it's not something I would normally order, but I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied and would definitely have it again. I also don't drink alcohol, however, every cocktail, they had I loved. I will say that I tried the spicy pineapple one and for those that like spicy things I think it would be a hit however, it just wasn't for me. The grandmas flatbread was very good and you can tell that all of the ingredients are super fresh. In terms of my brunch, it was all pretty good. I would love to come back and try something different though. There was a bit of a language barrier between my server and my self during my brunch visit. When food is being delivered please go to the side of the table where the person is sitting who ordered the food. I did NOT appreciate a server's armpit practically brushing my face as they leaned over me to hand a plate to the person beside me instead of walking around the table to the other side where they were sitting. An ice cube in my water would've been appreciated. My order was brought 5 min before the other diners got their meals. Of course it was cold by the time I waited for everyone to get their food. My group didn't order drinks . But if you enjoy a brunch cocktail, this may be the place for you. We saw many servers delivering lovely garnished drinks. read more

I'd give this place 5 stars for the ambience and good food, but our experience was soured by our waitress, Sky. She repeatedly pushed us to order the most expensive items, upgrade our sides, and get cocktails instead of water. Even after we declined, she continued to press us, which felt unprofessional and frustrating. It seemed like she cared more about upselling than providing good service. After we declined her offers multiple times, she became unfriendly. The food was good, but the service ruined it. read more

Came in for my Father's 70th Birthday. Host at the front was amazing. She was constantly helping guests and other team members. Our server was also great. Very attentive and friendly. Appetizers were delicious however the price for the shishito peppers is outrageous for the amount you get, especially compared to the calamari. Calamari was outstanding and you get a good portion for the price. All of our entrees were mediocre. I had a seafood pasta that had no flavor and the "sauce" was like water. Seafood was clearly frozen, not fresh. My mother had the sweet potato gnocchi and the dumplings were dense and chewy and the dish was overall too sweet for an entree. For dessert we ordered donut holes which they warm up in the pizza oven and they were all completely burned on the side that was evidently facing the coals/fire. Should have never been served like that. Cherry pie was good and my Old Fashioned was well made. Manager stopped by to check on how the meal was after appetizers which we appreciated but her shirt was only half tucked in. We know that's a "fashion trend" but to most people it just looks sloppy. We wouldn't drive out of our way again for this place but if we happened to be nearby we would come in to sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers but wouldn't do a full meal here again. read more
