We made a group order at work and I had the pabellón bowl. When we got our order it was still warm which is always great! The food itself had good flavors. The meat was tender and juicy. The egg yolk was runny. The black beans were ok. The portions were a little small but since it has different components it will get you full. In general the food was really good. I need to try more stuff as it was hard to choose.

Get the tostones! They are offered as a dinner entree, but you should order them as an appetizer. They come with beef prepared to temperature with cheese and a wonderful cilantro sauce. It looks like a lot because it IS a lot. The entrees were also very tasty, as well as the drinks. The restaurant has a nice, casual feel that would work well for first dates, business lunches or just catching up with friends.

I discovered this place ( not like Chris) on my recent trip to Miami, the food comes in large portion with vibrant colors, the hostesses are cordial and warm, they do their best to communicate and give you great recommendations. The ambiance is casual and very welcoming. I recommend.

The restaurant is beautiful inside, and big and the service was quick. But the most and only important for me is the food. I had the "simon bolivar" arepa with the picanha, pico de gallo and queso llanero-- i added some queso de manos though that was excessive . Delicious grilled meat. Love it. Then as a dessert i had the mandocas -- first time trying them- sweet plantains and cheese mixtures.. ohh yeah that was delicious. They also had wok- style food- i suppose a fusion venezuelan - asian type dishes-- i was tempted to try. maybe next time

Food was outstanding and place was nice inside except for the screaming kids that made the experience not so great. I can't believe parents bring their kids to a restaurant and let them behave like this. Server was a little on the slow side to bringing another nestea. Also at $5.00 for tea and get charged another $5.00 for a second one is ridiculous. We went there around 6:00

We came here for our end of year team holiday meeting/meal. Some of the ladies had been before so we reviewed the lunch menu prior to coming and had recommendations. I had my mind on a few things and ended up narrowing it back down to the original which was the Fratanga Bowl, because it had me at fried cheese in it...lol Since it was on the lunch special, it came with a soup of the day or house salad and a soda. I got the spinach soup which was surprisingly delicious... We ordered and shared an appetizer of a few things like an empanadas and tequeños, which is my favorite, and more. The ambiance of the restaurant was really chic and nicely decorated for the holidays. The waitress was really nice and helpful. One of my coworkers got the truffle burger with fried cheese inside and truffle fries. She said it was so delicious and she did not regret not getting the lunch specials...

My visit to Bocas Grill Doral was amazing, to say the least. Pamela was great, attentive, and had excellent service. I would recommend the Special Fried rice (I got the shrimp), it was one of if not the best fried rices I've ever tried, so thanks and props to the chef. 10/10.

This was by far some of the best food I've tasted in Miami. Come to this place! The food came out pretty quick and it was sooo goood. The drink was strong and there was so much flavor across every plate. The vibe is homey and family friendly. The server was nice and gave great recommendations that led to an awesome experience.

Family went for Father's Day. The food was okay and the service could've been better. The server seemed and talked to us like she had better things to do. Plus they seemed to have made a mistake in seating us because our service and a manager kept looking at us and pointing. At some point, the manager asked us if we were waiting on anyone else. We had a party of 6, three adults and three kids. Everyone was there, we just didn't fill out the table to their liking. The place wasn't even full. I'd maybe try it again during a regular day. I loved the service!!!! The cappuccino was good but my cachapa was not as good as I was expecting. The smell and look of the empanada my nephew's had were simply amazing and if I go again I'm definitely ordering an empanada too. The place inside is so ample and clean as well as fill with nice tables and the service was formidable. They have a great menu with different type of prices depending on what you want to spend and eat. The milk drink that my brother-in-law had looked amazing and he said that the Taste was very good. Because we went for my sisters birthday they gave us a cake and they sang happy birthday. That was a nice touch!
