Had a PHENOMENAL time at Bodega in the Gables. It was my first time there and it won't be my last. The drinks were fire, the food was fire & the service was absolutely amazing. Caro was an amazing server and Will was just as awesome behind the bar. Super courteous and fast with the service. And the food and drinks WOW. Straight fire. I was too full to check out the speak easy, but next time for sure!

Bodega has opened up on Miracle Mile. Bodega is a miami classic with the OG spot in south beach. Bodega is my fav taco spot in Miami. It is better than any other taco spot in Miami. You get your money's worth. There is something for everyone. The ingredients are fresh. There is a great taco box deal as well. I liked how there was a self order option at this location. Parking is street parking. You need to try the Nutella churros ! I am so happy that they are open now at this location. Definitely coming back

Miserable customer service, they got our order wrong...then they did not own it and doubled down on it...tacos were tasty. As a Mexican, I am embarrassed by what these people call "Mexican food" and warm hospitality. A smile can go a long way #dobetter

This is one of my favorite Mexican bars, it's definitely my go to spot during happy after leaving the office. Not only are the drinks amazing but so is the food. I would definitely recommend this place for happy hour and just to have a good time with a group of friends during the weekend as well. I will also recommend the Mezcal bar in the back the for drinks and food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are amazing and the ambience is to die for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service felt like workers were forced to take my mom's and my order. I had to call them over to our table otherwise they wouldn't have taken it. Young male waiter took only my mom's order and walked away without asking for mine, before she called him back. And it gets worse! Young woman bartender got our order wrong, and argued with us when I explained the mixup. She did not offer to fix our expensive order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really odd restaurant and, unfortunately, expected better from a place on Miracle Mile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food is cooked well, seems the chefs are the only quality employees!

My 5 star goes straight to Cas who hooked it up with some special surprise drink I was completely clueless about. I told her to make magic and she made it happen. Service was stellar and so was her drink making. She was amazing and I'd come back time and time again just for Cass. The mezcal bar is located in the back after you pass the bathrooms. It's a MUST!

This is a really cute taco spot in Coconut Grove! Very casual seating and menu. They have tacos, burritos and drinks! Plus they have a cool happy hour too. I got the happy hour avocado taco for $4- it was just okay to be honest. I liked the crunchy potato sticks, but the avocado was minimal and the tortilla didnt taste too fresh. I wish they had more vegetarian options too... this is the only vegetarian taco. I am willing to go back and try it once more... maybe the drinks are better!

Each of these yuca fries cost a dollar!

Happy Hour deals here are not a deal. We ordered the chips and quac and while the chip portion was reasonable it came with barely enough guac for maybe a 1/4 of the chips provided if you lightly dipped those chips. We also ordered the yuca fries. They were 3 dollars and were 3 yuca fries. That is not a deal, just a very small portion. And they were small fries, absolutely ridiculous for a dollar a piece. While the food tasted good, for basically street fare they were outrageously over priced. Next time I'll get chips and guac at Chipotle or go to Coyo which has that fun salsa bar so that if I run out of guac I at least have lots of salsa options. The 3 dollar margaritas felt a little less outrageous - they were better than a cheap house margarita but were also on the smaller side. While the food is tasty don't bother going here for happy hour thinking you'll be getting any type of savings.

The drinks were beyond subpar. We ordered a purple Paloma which had quality tequila but miserable after-taste. The premade margarita was unpalatably sour. The pico picante tasted like cucumber juice with a kick. The margarita we ordered at the bar was a $20 hoax. The guacamole was so sad, not even the tomatoes were blushing with embarrassment. Service charge was included. The server (on the plus side) was delectable. But the service itself failed to meet any standard. When we asked what the specials included, their response was "the specials." When we inquired again about the contents of those specials (some type of tower, ranchero nachos), the bartender was unable to identify any descriptors or ingredients. Bodega has plenty of locations with much better service and quality food. Do not waste your time here. Enjoy the rest of Miracle Mile.

I came a couple of weekends ago for the opening of the new Coral Gables location on Miracle Mile. The margarita and tacos I had were awesome! Music was so fun, I danced for hours! Met lots of interesting people and staff and bartenders were really friendly. On the downside, it was really tight and there weren't a lot of tables. We finally were able to get a table after hanging out by the bar for about an hour or so. There is no club part of this location (unlike the Grove location) and we were disappointed that the Mezcal room had a very limited drink and food menu. Even though there were some issues, I'll give some of the benefit of the doubt to it being opening night plus I had sooo much fun, so I'm giving it 5 stars.

It's such a vibe and the food is amazing ! They have a kiosk station which is a game changer ! I think this may be my favorite bodega spot to date

I guess they can fill more guests in, which would be OK if the ones seating two were not so small and pushed uncomfortably between the glass panels and the way of the servers to go back and forth. We used to always have the melted cheese for appetizer and the garlic shrimp with white rice, priced at $25 and the shrimp were juicy and large. Lots of garlic and huge shrimp, think there were six per plate. Ambitious margaritas were delicious and just the right amount of alcohol. The rim was evenly coated with coarse salt and they were really a treat. The last time we were there was the night after Thanksgiving last year and we were extremely disappointed. Food arrived before cutlery and we had to ask for napkins. We kept getting bumped by workers in the narrow traffic space and the margaritas were heavily watered down with salt on the rim an afterthought. To add insult to injury, the much smaller shrimp were separated from the rice, very dry (overcooked) and tasteless. They were served on a flat plate not conducting to hold butter or whatever they used to cook the garlic in and the poor shrimp looked like they didn't belong there. I take they have a different chef and are cutting costs because everything is more expensive now. Well, so was our bill that took a ridiculous hike. The price that stuck to my memory was the garlic shrimp, from $25 to $34 for a much smaller and inferior quality dish. So from being our favorite Mexican place in Gables to being taken off the list.

Mauricio was at the bar and we definitely missed being under his attention by not sitting there. Eliezer (the Venezuelan waiter from Mérida) took care of us in the dining room. Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.
