Let me start off with I usually hate seafood most of the time. My family and I got it doordashed to us from 30 minutes away and the delivery time was exceptional, honestly it arrived so fast. The food was still extremely hot when it arrived which was perfect! My mother also is very picky about seafood and she absolutely loved it. We got the boil bags and if you like corn, you're going to LOVE it after you eat at the Boil Bay. The butter was really marinated in the corn, potatoes, sausage, and even the crabs! The meal was a bit pricy for 4 people but extremely worth it. My family actually said this place was one of their best memories from our beach trip and I couldn't agree more! This place is fantastic and well worth every penny, you won't be disappointed we read the reviews and everyone recommend combo C so that's was what we went with and it was delicious, hot, juicy, flavorful, my mouth is still watering over it! Had dinner from Boil Bay last night (7/17/20) and ordered extra sausage with the boil in a bag. The crab legs were all broken up, the corn was chewy and the sausage was rubbery and difficult to chew. I called the next day to express my unsatisfactory and the female manager blew me off and said she would let the chef know. This time I ordered combo B and I got 2lb of the head off shrimp..I was disappointed because the shrimp was overcooked bad & they had a mushy taste to them. My husband and I are seafood lovers & we where disappointed because this has happened before and I let it go but this time it didn't taste well at all..the shell of the shrimp was not coming off, sticking to the meat! This place was pretty expensive. The service was good besides the server trying to up sell us the entire time. Shaking crab is better. Also make sure you pay cash! They charged my boyfriend and our friend 3 separate times and when they were confronted about it they tried to deny it. After that the server came up to us again she was trying to say they voided it and never charged them. Genuinely wouldn't come here again, I have been in the service industry for years and I can excuse some bullshit but that was too much to handle. If you come here pay cash and expect to pay more. We gave them a second chance. This time we ordered a boil bag, and two baskets. The crab cakes were really good but when it came to the oysters and sweet potato fries, all I could taste was grease. I was disappointed because I could smell the oysters on our two minute drive home and I was really excited. Sad part is that it wasn't busy and I got there right when the food came out. Food is good 4/5 times (there was only one time when the sauce wasn't as much or as flavorful as previous visits). Beware that sometimes when you pick up, they will accidentally give the wrong bag to the one before you. It's happened to me twice already. I end up waiting 20 minutes longer at the restaurant because they had to remake it. It's annoying but the food is so good I keep coming back. Great place with amazing food! Went on a Thursday night. The place was packed due to a birthday event but we were still seated right away. Since it was our first time dining it, the server went through the menu with us and explained the different combinations. This food is amazing and well seasoned. I love the lemon pepper sauce for my crab legs. I usually get 1 pound of crab legs and 1/2 pound of shrimp. It comes with two potatoes and two corn on the cob. I pay around $30. The flavors are amazing. The butter sauce is good also and you can add your spice level. If you go before 6pm you can dine in and get a really good discount.
