I've had Bojangles once before in N. Carolina but this airport version of it was phenomenal! To start off with the staff was super friendly and helpful, they worked super fast and got my order out quick. The selection was large, they seemed to have fresh of everything. I ordered the spicy chicken tenders and a drumstick. Gotta get both honey mustard and be BBQ sauce. I'm a huge fan! Don't forget to get seasoned fries and a biscuit with your order. Perfect food to grab and eat on the plane, won't go back quickly and will taste good in a few hours! Highly recommend to visit them when you're in terminal T!!!! Hmm,​ I wish I could say something​ nice about it but the fries were a no-no​ to me (it was cold and mushy) and the biscuit​ sandwich​ was pretty decent because of the crispy biscuits and warm melted cheese & egg in between were good in my book. I don't know why I decided to take a flight out of SFO at 6 in the morning, the day after daylight savings time. It was a bad decision on my part and the fact that I had a 2 hour layover in Atlanta was pure bull cookies. I was sick, I was tired, and I just spent a full five hours in the middle seat behind a screaming baby. I was HANGRY. I walked up and down Hartsfield's corridors on a mission for food. Unlike SFO's Terminal 2, which boasts a yoga studio and an array of frozen yogurt shops and Food Network chef owned restaurants with a farm to table edge...Hartfield was like being on an episode of the Walking Dead. Pretty much your only options were a Villa Italia (RIP Sbarro's), candy from a newsstand, and a Bojangles. Finding a Bojangles in DC is like finding a unicorn so I decided to do like the locals do and ordered myself a two piece with a biscuit and mashed potatoes. My order came out in less than five seconds from a friendly cashier. I opened the box and inhaled the wonderful aroma of trans fats and carbs. I had Bojangles once in Virginia Beach and the chicken was greasy, soggy and limp. This airport chicken was the exact opposite. I ate it up faster than it took the cashier the time to box it up. The biscuit had a perfect crumbly crust and was moist and white on the inside. Laura Ingalls Wilder couldn't have made a more perfect biscuit. I slept the whole way on my trip back to DC. Peace Up! Yes, I give this place five stars...and here's why! I was so excited upon my arrival at ATL, because I know they have a Popeye's. We had to go to our terminal which was across the globe it seemed from the Popeye's we saw, so the hubs says "I'm sure there's another one near our terminal". Famous last words..... I was heartbroken. No Popeye's to be found. I was not going to go to Subway, as my heart was set on some good fried chicken. Lo and behold, Bojangles appeared from our of nowhere. I've never seen one before, and I didn't have my phone near me to check the Yelp reviews, so we decided to chance it- even though there were only two people in line... I ordered for both of us while the man found us some seats. I ordered the chicken strip meal which comes with a drink, a biscuit and seasoned fries. I was hoping to get mashed potatoes, but the person ahead of me said they had amazing fries. I ordered the honey mustard dip and the ranch, and asked the cashier for a handful of honey packets for the biscuits. The cashier/order taker lady was pleasant, and the menu was very easy to read. The prices were comparable to an Arby's meal. They gave me huge styrofoam boxes of goodness- which I wasn't planning on, so I carefully carried these behemoths to the terminal seating where my hubs and dog were waiting. The chicken strips were giant, juicy and meaty. The breading was super crunchy. There were no weird pieces of chewy stuff and no inedible parts. Wow. It tasted like my moms fried chicken in the 70's. Flavorful! The biscuit was the biggest biscuit I've ever seen. It was flaky and moist with just the perfect amount of buttery crunch on the edges. The honey was the clincher. The fries were fat and seasoned just right. They didn't play with the portion they gave me. I couldn't eat it all, yet I did because my mouth wouldn't let me stop. It was horrible. My mind said no, but my mouth kept saying yes. I felt like I just had a Thanksgiving feast. All I needed now was a nap. I gave my dog a piece of my biscuit out of guilt only because she saw how much I was enjoying it. Yes, she's on a diet, but she needed to experience the goodness as well. Stopped in here just over a week ago as we were connecting in Atlanta on enroute to NYC. It was close to 8pm and there are not a ton of other dining options in this wing of the airport and some were already closed. This place is okay but being that it was late in the day the freshness of the food left a lot to be desired. There was a ton of food sitting in their respective containers and I doubt that much more of that would have been consumed that evening. My son and I ordered the chicken tenders and fries and they were just okay. They didn't feature a lot of flavor and, frankly, it was a little dry and tough - wouldn't call them "juicy". Again, that's probably because it wasn't very busy at that time and the food was made much earlier. Our server was friendly enough and the prices were noy terrible for being airport fare. Omg this is damn good chicken, not to mention for an airport too. A 3 wing dinner and sweet potato pie were there to console me after missing my connecting flight, and I will forever love them for that. The three wing dinner comes with three large fried chicken wings, a fluffy biscuit, and your choice of a side. I chose mashed potatoes, and it was grand. The rich white gravy they ladled onto my mashed potatoes perfectly complemented the biscuit and chicken as well. The chicken was perfectly fried, with a crispy, flavorful, peppery batter, and was delectably soft and tender on the inside. Mmmmm the sweet potato pie, though. It exceeded my fast food dessert expectations. The crust was very crisp and coated in brown sugar and cinnamon I believe, and the sweet potato filling was gooey in the best way. I stopped at this food stand in the airport while waiting for a connecting flight home to NYC. The line was long and slow because the two staff were too busy talking to themselves and not moving fast enough. As a supervisor in my own job I wanted to tell the young ladies to cut the chit chat and keep the lines moving especially since most people had a flight to catch. I ordered a two piece chicken meal that came with a biscuit and 1 side and I had the mash potatoes. All of the food was just how I remembered it, "Slamming." Bojangles is must do when I am visiting family in the South and this trip didn't disappoint. In my rush to get back to my gate to board early I forgot my utensils. I ate the fried chicken with my hand and then used the chicken bone to scoop up the mash potatoes on the plane and feasted. LOL I hate smelling other people's food on the plane when I don't have food and I'm hungry. I KNOW someone was salivating from the food I slaughtered on the plane, because it had to smell just as good as it tasted. I wasn't able to get the Iced Tea which I love because I had too many things to carry and the cups the tea come in aren't that sturdy. This was my first time at any location. On the upside, the biscuit was buttery-crispy and service was quick. I also ordered potatoes and gravy. Big mistake. The potatoes were obviously from dehydrated flakes reconstituted with water. Unnaturally smooth and tasted processed. The gravy was almost indistinguishable from the potato puree. White, thin and bland. Not "bad" but not satisfying at all. By mistake, a side of mac'n cheese was also in the bag. It, too, was very processed. Although yellow and creamy, it would not be recognized as cheesy. People looking for cheap fast food (both quality and price) will probably love it. No shame in that. For me, however, I will seek out alternatives with more flavor and character. read more

Not being from the south, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Bojangles at the airport since this is a fast food place I've always wanted to try. The line was pretty long (but moving quickly) for this time of the morning so I took that as a good sign. I ordered a Cajun biscuit with egg and cheese. My order came out quickly, but I noticed that it didn't have any egg or cheese on it. Bummer. I had to board so I ate my Cajun biscuit and it was delicious, but I wish I got what I ordered since I paid extra. It was early and maybe I grabbed someone else's order but I'm not sure. I always like to try a little southern style breakfast, so stumbling upon this fast food joint was a great plus. I ordered chicken and biscuits with a side of French fries. French fries to me were very salty, the chicken on the other hand was perfectly seasoned. The biscuits were fantastic, just the perfect balance of salt sugar flour and butter. I asked him for coffee instead of a soft drink and he tried making a new pot of coffee for me. Unfortunately I missed the 10AM cut off time and he was told not to make it by another employee. He was so amazing and said he would ask The Coffee Bean and tea leaf for a cup of coffee since they are directly across from Bojangles. This made my morning! 'I knew a man Bojangles and he'd dance for you in worn out shoes' If you have ever spent any time in the T terminal at ATL, you will know that it isn't the newest shiniest stop on the infamous Plane Train. It is the worn out shoes of Hartsfield-Jackson, no matter how much lipstick they try to put on this pig. Years ago, when weather claimed my last flight out to ORF on a Friday night, my penance for a Misspent Youth was paid wandering the various watering holes and chairs in the T Terminal (but that is another story for another time....). Once again, I found myself in T waiting for a flight to ORF and had some time on my hands. Even though there are more Yuppie and Beautiful eating places just a Plane Train stop or two down the line, nostalgia kicked in, along with the cravings for some good old fashioned non-healthy yardbird. Two piece combo with a biscuit and some cajun rice. And enough Texas Pete to turn the entire plate a deep dark shade of orange. Guilty pleasure, but gawd it was good! There I was in business casual licking chicken off the bone like a man rescued from 40 years in the wilderness. A quick glance around at the other diners was like looking in a mirror. No talking, no texting, no emails, no iPads.....just determined gnawing on bones. And the service...wow, are you sure this is really a food place at ATL? Over time, I've gotten somewhat accustomed to having to jump over the counter, grab the order taker by the throat, and scream my order very slowly and loudly until it is somewhat understood. Then endure the legendary Icy Stare for being an intrusion upon their day. Not here at Bojangles, though. The counter and cook staff actually look happy and pleasant and treat you as a guest in their living room (albeit a living room in need of major renovation and new linoleum). They even picked through the chicken to make sure that I got plump and juicy portions! Extra honey? No problem, sir, here you go. Anything else we can get you? Who are these people, aliens? Don't they know that they are working in an airport? If you are schlepping around in ATL and have some time to kill, go get you some bird and take in the hospitality. Not only is BoJangles my favorite fast food chicken joint, it's all about the nostalgia. Going to High School in Western, North Carolina, Bojangles was my first real job as a teenager. It wasn't the most thrilling work, but it put money in my pocket. Now, I live 1000 miles from the closest BoJangles and since I do travel through ATL at least once a month... I almost always make a detour to Terminal T. I found this purely on accident almost a year ago and now I pray my connections are long enough to swing by and grab a 2 piece dinner with dirty rice and biscuit. If I'm really hungry, I'll feast on a BoBerry Biscuit as well. EVERY time I eat at this BoJangles, I'm taken back. Here's the debate: chick fila (terminals A & C) or Bojangles (T)? Both are great and quick. Perfect for transfers between flights. This is what I have learned. Bojangles for breakfast chick fila for lunch. Bojangles chicken biscuit has crispier chicken and it is more flavorful. First time at Bojangles, I was told I had to go. Service here was nice as soon as I walk inside. Very nice hospitality service. I got here at 10am and was going to order breakfast which they are serving all day but opt for a Cajun Chicken sandwich and it is so good. The sweet tea was also good.
