This is a newly opened location. I tried the chicken biscuit and the steak biscuit. I preferred the chicken biscuit. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The biscuit was very buttery and flaky. I got a good batch. The hash brown coins were larger than I expected. We ordered through the drive thru. They were very fast with our order. I'm so glad I decided to give this place another chance after not having the best experience at another location in Maryland. I was excited to see they were bringing it to Vegas, happened to be in the area the other morning, and decided to stop by for breakfast. I got the chicken biscuit combo with a lemonade/tea mix. First off, the Bo Rounds (hash browns) are huge! They look like your typical round hash browns on steroids. They also have an interesting taste. Not bad, just different. OK so this was my first time going to Bojangles even though I've known they've been around for a while in different cities in different states, but there was never one in my hometown or really anywhere I lived. We were gonna be out on that side of town and we decided to stop in and it was a nice refreshing change from some other chicken places. Gotta say the chicken is really juicy and tender. The sandwich had a little spice to it not much and the chicken tenders had no spice at all. For the tenders, I had my choice of about 10 different sauces and I went with the honey mustard that was completely legit. With the tenders they give you a biscuit that wasn't too bad. I also enjoyed the sandwich and went with their legendary sweet tea. I can't say I've had sweet tea too many times in my life, but this was really good. I don't live anywhere near Bojangles, but if the opportunity presents itself, I would definitely come back here again. Definitely give them a try if you're looking for a chicken sammie. For people complaining about "no bone in chicken" I say just be patient as this spot just opened so the menu is definitely limited while the hype dies out and they will be bringing out that bone in chicken when it does, I'm sure that's what will happen. Lines would definitely be longer and the wait would be ridiculous. Now I've been here twice already I can definitely say this place will get my business for me and my family over canes. The price I pay here compared to what I pay at canes to feed 6 of us is so much different and we can actually feel content and not left feeling hungry. The flavor they season their chicken with is fricken tasty and pairs so well with their dirty rice and the coleslaw which definitely for me beats out all other places that have a coleslaw with their chicken. The first time we had fries and it was way over seasoned but this second time it was done right and it had a nice crispy outside with a soft potato inside. They got a ranch that's said to be made in house and boyyyyy is this so good, canes sauce what? lol I'd rock this rach over that for sure. The one thing I can say I wish they would bring out too is a mashed potatoes and gravy. The only reason I'm still not giving this bojangles a 5 star is because they don't even fill the sides up to the lid, I'd say both times I came I get the family meals so they give you the family size sides and gets it's only been filled a little under 3/4 of the container which is a little annoying because that doesn't let all of us have enough of the sides and I have to make some rice at home for my kids to eat with their tenders. The other thing is some of the workers need to check the attitude that are taking the order outside. The first experience was so great and the lady was super helpful and had a great personality, the second time we came, the dude was more concerned about getting a girlfriend that he chatted with and made us wait even after the female paid and was driving away, he chased her down and we waited again before he came back to us and I started ordering then he told me to hold on " I have to go finish out this payment" he then walked away and went in for about 8 minutes to probably chase down the female he was trying to Rizz up, all the while the other worker was moving the other side of the line while we just sat there and I told the other guy he just left. The dude that was doing the other lines orders said he would help me but then went and took the car behind me's orders instead which was so odd. When the dude taking our order came back he made it seem like I was inconveniencing him by waiting. Ofcourse we had to go in at their grand opening date 1/20/2025. I never had bojangles before and I live about 3 minutes from this restaurant. We arrived to dine in around 7:15 I Waited in line for about 15 minutes got to order our food and exactly 1 hour later we got our food. We ordered the chicken sandwich crispy add lettuce and tomatoe as well as the 5 pc crispy tenders. For the sauce we tried the ranch and creamy buffalo for our fixins we had their Mac and cheese. The cashier was awesome she had an uplifting personality very friendly I asked what's this popular fixin and she suggested the Mac and cheese. Their Mac and cheese reminded me of chick fil a max and cheese. Their tenders are well seasoned and juicy no sauce was needed. Their biscuits were also my fav it was hot and fluffy. We paired it with strawberry jam they also had grape jam I am not sure if they had honey I asked but wasn't given any. Their sweet tea to me was not as sweet as raising canes. Their restaurants were fairly clean and supplied with toiletries for a busy grand opening day. I didn't notice if they had a baby changing station. Two stalls with 1 sink. Im definitely coming back for their breakfast to try. And also for their tenders. I heard they will serve bone in chicken as well. With the crowd of people that was surrounding this restaurant when it first opened, I had some pretty high expectations on what I was going to expect when I finally went there. I finally had the time to stop by, and I ordered the combo with the chicken sandwich and fries. To my surprise, it really wasn't anything special. Most notably, it seemed like my chicken sandwich wasn't fully cooked. The texture of the chicken just wasn't right, being more dense and not stringy like you'd normally find with cooked chicken. Because of this I threw out most of my sandwich, and left to eventually eat somewhere else. I know that my experience is probably rare, as much fast food restaurants cook by strict timers. But that still left in awkward impression. Regardless, I wasn't really impressed with anything. Personally, I like Chick-fil-A or Canes better. Which is going to be a little rough on this restaurant since Blue Diamond is littered with fried chicken options. With all that competition, that can't be good for any of them, but I predict it will definitely be bad for Bojangles. To close things out, I do have to point out that the service was fantastic. We waited in the drive thru during lunch time on their first Saturday. While the line was very very long, it went super quickly! We ordered 2 chicken sandwich meals and a kids meal (chicken tenders, Mac n cheese as the side, swapped the milk out). Just fyi- there is an upgrade charge for lemonade and also each side ranch, which we saw on the receipt later. Let's preface this by saying we had no expectations because we've never had Bojangles before! Our food was very fresh and tasty. The house made ranch was so good! Not bad for a meal w/drink by today's standards. The chicken was good, moist with a slight kick to it. Maybe a little less spicy than Popeyes spicy tenders. I really enjoyed the fries. Different than any fast food place I've ever had. Kind of like a steak fry, but about half as thick. The biscuit was a bit of a letdown, not much flavor. Also, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the dining room area. It's fairly small, maybe 10 or 12 tables but as soon as someone got up from their table, an employee was there within seconds to clean it off. Overall, a good experience. We ordered the family 16 piece meal with dirty rice, biscuits, Mac & cheese, French fries, and our choice of sauces. The chicken was crispy and delicious but there is spice to it. The rice has small pieces of sausage in it and it's well flavored with spice as well. The Mac and cheese is well cooked and the biscuits are soft and crisp. It's similar to Raising Canes and KFC. We were just unhappy with not being able to buy whole chicken and the uber sweet tea of the south not being the same. My wife and I have visited Bojangles at the Rainbow and Blue Diamond on two occasions. We had purchased the chicken tenders, French fries, coleslaw, Mac & cheese, and the dirty rice. All these items were terrible, but their biscuits were the only that was great. We had the ice tea but filled to the top with ice cubes. The French fries were cold and very dry and old, the coleslaw was mediocre, the Mac & cheese had no flavor, and the dirty rice also was very bland and no flavor.
