Horrible service. We ordered chicken through the app and was told it would take 30 min. to cook. When we arrive to pick up our order, we are told that they are out of chicken. When we ask for a refund we are told to call Door Dash. We have never used Door Dash. The kid working finally told us that he doesn't know how to give refunds. I'm visiting from a state that has a deficit of good fast food biscuit spots so when I visit here I like to get a Cajun filet biscuit. I generally try to keep my item count in my order below five items total to give whoever is ultimately bagging my order a fighting chance to get the number right and give me all five, or fewer, items. They were likely up late last night licking various windows so they're probably tired. Disappointed that my order was incomplete; the tea tasting sour is a hateful cherry on top. read more

Terrible experience at this Bojangles. I arrived during the posted hours, only to find the lobby closed without any explanation. I went to the drive-thru instead, but when I tried to place three separate orders, I was told it was against company policy. This is ridiculous! If you're going to restrict ordering like this, at least make sure the lobby is open to accommodate customers. The staff was unhelpful and seemed uninterested in finding a solution. Not the best experience, the wait wasn't bad but the drive thru attendant didn't understand me asking for a no. 1 no drink and I had to repeat multiple times. This place is a dumpster fire. Drove through today, and each and every car in front of me took 5+minutes to be served their food. 5 minutes may not sound like much, but when it's 20 minutes between placing your order and getting to the window, something's wrong. And to be fair, I understand that sometimes fast food places can get a little backed up during breakfast. I can forgive the occasional slow wait time. Then I finally got to the window and paid. So I want to specify this review is the brand new store on 411 in Maryville. For some reason there are reviews below that are as far back as 2015 so not sure why they are showing up on this Maryville location. Maybe Yelp just lumps all of the Bojangles reviews together? Anyway, I digress. Yesterday I thought I'd try this new store since I pass it everyday on my way home. I've actually NEVER had Bojangles in my life. Yeah yeah, I know. I'm actually a huge Zaxby's fan and runner up would be Chick-Fil-A. I pull up (nobody in line) and I'm greeted with a "It's Bo Time!" over the speaker from a very pleasant sounding lady. I start to laugh because it caught me off guard. I was expecting the usual zombie-fied teenage mumbled greeting. She started laughing too so that was a good ice-breaker. I proceeded to tell her I'd never been there before and I needed a minute. I NEVER get drinks with my meal so whenever I get a combo, I always say, "No drink". Easy right? Wellllll........ I ordered a 3 pc tender combo (no drink) with fries and slaw as my two sides. I'm not sure what got her all confused but it took a good minute for her to figure out how to ring up my order. Still, she was being so sweet and apologetic the whole time. I pull up to pay. The price was a little steeper than I had hoped (little over $9) but oh well. Now it's time to eat. The slaw is fine. Actually it's exactly how Zaxby's makes theirs so I'm good. When it came to the fries, I like how "natural" they were but it seemed like they had been sitting around a long time. I would love to try a fresh batch. The worse part of the meal.........the chicken. Yikes! The batter is so thick and clumped in places all over the tender to you take a bite and you just get this kind of burnt flour taste. I didn't eat my biscuit yet. Too many carbs in one meal so I saved it for brekky today. Oh, I forgot. The sauces. To me sauces are a huge part of any chicken tender meal so I get a honey mustard and the Bo sauce. The honey mustard is standard but WTF is up with that Bo sauce?! It tasted like creamy Italian (which I like on salads) but it had another off putting ingredient. It just doesn't fit the flavor profile of the meal as a whole. Needless to say, I'm disappointed w/ my first visit but I always give restaurants a 2nd try. This place is a dump. Very nasty. Trash has not been emptied in a long while. I was there at 8 am. Drink station had dried soda on it from several days back. Service was ok but it took 25 minutes to get our food. There were only 3 other people inside granite the drive through was busier. Dining room filthy. The restrooms were disgusting. Boo and blood on commode and it had been there for a while. One commode would not flush. No soap. We came through here for breakfast and they were kind enough to make us items from the lunch menu fresh, even the fries were right out of the frier! Let's face it, this is a massive chain and not all locations are created equal. This one, however, will greet you with a smile, deliver great service and that every so tasty Bojangles food. read more

I'm giving this Bojangles 3 stars because they USUALLY do really well. I love the Bo Rounds and could eat them with a side of honey mustard as my meal. Bo Rounds are served during breakfast hours as their main side. That being said, today I went in and ordered a supreme chicken tender dinner with bo rounds and mac and cheese. They usually inform me when I order them for lunch as a side that it will be a 5 minute wait as they are cooked fresh after a certain time. Today, they told me no problem and just to pull up. My order was out the window and in my car within 60 seconds. Good job on such the fast time, but unfortunately it seemed like my Bo rounds were left over from breakfast. They were lukewarm and not crisp. I don't care to wait 5 minutes on fresh Bo rounds for lunch. I should have asked for them to be dropped fresh so I kind of blame myself. The mac and cheese was very watery but it's very seldom I have that problem. Also, I asked for ranch (for my chicken) and honey mustard for my bo rounds. I received ranch and BBQ. Not a big deal I still used it and they went fine with BBQ just not as good as they would have with honey mustard. All in all, they may not have the friendliest staff but they do have quick service and you get what you should expect with a fast food chicken place. I stopped by and spoke with a young female supervisor who said they'd replace the missing items (no apology), but then said she needed to talk to the co-supervisor. Went inside for a cheddar bo, talked with the super nice girl about how I didn't mind waiting because they take awhile but I'd really like a fresh one, it had been a long night at work, she was sweet said they'd put one in and bring it out, I should wait in the dinning room. 18 minutes later and no other customers to be seen in that time, I still had no bo. Returned to the counter, sweet girl was like oh no one brought you your food? Manger boy says no it's right here. I'd learned a lot about him while I waited and he talked to sweet girl, has his ears pierced, thinking of getting gauges, his girlfriend...
