When we walked in, none of the tables were cleaned, and we were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes, even though we arrived about 2 hours before their posted closing time. It came with rice as well. They were running a promotion to spend $50 and get free fries. We weren't aware of it when ordering and they still have us some fries covered in some sort of tomato sauce, which were also delicious. The price is incredibly fair for the quality of food. I think it could've done with more garlic. The tikka masala was also good; nothing stood out about it, but it was not spicy to us. Flavors on the main dishes were good until i found a nice long black hair, in my mouth, after taking a bite of the salmon (which was basically three small pieces each for my wife and I). We never even touched the appetizer after finding a hair in our mains. We will absolutely NOT be ordering from or dining with this restaurant again. WAY overpriced and tiny portions, with obviously sketch food safety practices. So I will say I do like my food however I have a couple of issues... I wanted both of my dishes to be spicy and they was not! I got the shrimp karma and the shrimp tikka. I wish they would take off the shells on the tails of the shrimp. I will say The dish is quite oily. Amazing food! I loved my butter chicken and my husband loved his chicken coconut curry. The butter chicken was so flavorful and delicious, I just wish I had more of the sauce (I'll have to ask for extra next time). We also had the garlic naan which was fresh and tasty. We tried the vegetarian samosas and they were pretty good as well. We ordered another appetizer at the recommendation of the waitress called fish Pakora and although I enjoyed the flavor and it was definitely fresh, it wasn't really for me. But I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys fried fish dishes. Also ordered lemon rice on the side (they only have big portions) and it was fresh and delicious! The portion sizes are huge though so you can definitely share with at least one other person, and have leftovers to take home. We got full pretty quickly so we took the rest in boxes but we will definitely be eating the leftovers for a few days. This is great though because it's like you're getting 2-3 meals for the price of one in my opinion. The waitress was kind and helpful and brought the food out quickly. It was always piping hot, and fresh and presented well. Was craving some Indian food tonight so I decided to stop at this gem located in a shopping plaza in Centerville Virginia. I had seen they were close to my location and reviews looked inviting so away I went. Parking was great and easy, and the staff was very friendly. Greeted me as I walked in and since I went alone I didn't want to sit right by the door so they allowed me to pick my own table which was very nice. Wasn't too crowded for a Friday night but that's ok. I wasn't really feeling like waiting haha So, since I've never had butter chicken before, I decided to have that, and was extremely happy I ordered it. The chicken was very tender and flavorful, and it came with rice and of course you have to have the garlic naan. They also brought me a bottle of water which was nice so that I didn't have to ask for refills. I would just do it myself. I let them know that this is my first visit, and I let them know that I would leave them a great review because of the service and the delicious food.
