Amazing food!!!!!! Really food quality and made fresh. The Chole Bhatura is to die for...real chole,not channas! The best part was the service, I think the server was Gary? Anyway he gave us wonderful service. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes and made the whole evening special! BTW, We were a group of 6 and they charged a flat tip. (Unrelated aside: Not sure about this place but I'm sad to say that in many Indian restaurants the tip never gets to your server at all, so if u want to tip the server just leave cash on your table mostly obscured by a plate.) read more

My girlfriend and I recently noticed that Bombay Bites took the place of the Peruvian chicken restaurant that closed earlier this year, back in February or March. This means that this restaurant had the misfortune to open just as the CoViD-19 pandemic touched off. I clamored to give it a try because I was in the mood for spicy and meaty (which I usually am). The lamb tikka masala was absolutely amazing. It had the perfect balance of spice, creaminess, and flavor. The lamb was perfectly cooked, too. The mango lassi was also excellent. We'll definitely be back to try some dosas at a future date. read more

This place opened up around a year ago, unfortunately right when COVID started so not a lot people know about this place and it seems pretty slow. We had the samosa appetizer, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and butter chicken. First off, I'm not a bit chicken person, but their chicken was so perfectly cooked and tender and sauces delicious. Prices were reasonable - we got all this food plus another entree to go for $50. On top of that, the server gave us dessert on the house! This will definitely be my new go to place for Indian! read more

Chicken vindaloo medium heat was pretty spicy for me, but very flavorful. A fair amount of chicken with potatoes and naan was good. The inside is nice with lots of seating but currently closed for dining. read more

Covid Central! We were completely disgusted that some staff were not wearing masks and people getting buffet were not wearing masks. My friend and I ran out. It's unacceptable at this time to not enforce staff to wear a mask and keep something like a buffet open. read more

Amazing, I only tried the samosa and lamb tikka masala and butter chicken both spicy. Not too spicy, extremely flavorful, probably one of the best places I've tried recently. In other restaurants I have ordered the tikka masala or butter chicken and they seem to be watered down, compared to this place. I'm sorry I didn't try this place earlier. Not a fan. My family and I being Indian love Indian food and after hearing good things from family about this place decided to check it out while we were out and about. We ordered chili chicken and papdi chaat for appetizers. The chili chicken tasted like ketchup with some spices and chaat papdi was kind of stale. For our entrees we ordered chicken tikka masala and my daughter ordered a dosa. The ctm was so so sweet it could've been dessert and the dosa was tiny for it's price. We're used to dosa grill sized dosas. The taste wasn't great either and the sambhar was very thick and chunky. Overall, the taste was not up to par. The service was fine but food not so much. Wow! That's all I could say when I ordered this food. I have to really be in the mood for butter chicken but I can always be in a mood for Bombay's food. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan. The flavors were out of this world. The butter chicken is a perfect blend, a bit spicy, a bit sweet. I can even taste the flavor of the chicken beneath the sauce and it's delicious. The garlic naan is the freshest, tastiest naan I've ever had from a restaurant. I am super picky and this place I would recommend to anyone! We ordered chicken biryani for the family and it was a joke! The rice was drenched in some kind of tomato sauce or curry. Biryani should be slightly dryer texture and aromatic. It was as if they dumped very spicy chicken curry in rice and mixed it altogether and handed it to us... sorry but that it is NOT biryani. We were in Centreville and happened upon this place...thank goodness! The server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, samosas, and garlic naan. All 3 of us agreed it was the best Indian food we've had in a long time. The spices were just right and even better with the riata sauce and mint chutney. They didn't skimp on the meat or the sauce. At least do not go here for South Indian food. We ordered two dosas - way too oily, not crisp, and worst - absolutely no salt. Told that to the chef who says that they keep it low salt because that's how most people prefer it. Bad excuse for a very poorly made dosa. Tried this place last night for the first time and food was delicious. For appetizer, we had Palak Chat which was very good. For main course we ordered Chicken Karahi, Aloo Gobi and Goat curry. All three dishes were flavorful and would order again. Since each of our main dishes came with rice, we asked if we could substitute one of the rice for bread which he was okay with. I would recommend ordering food as medium for spice; which made the food taste really good and did not burn my mouth either. Overall food was very good at reasonable price. We've had take-out from Bombay Bites twice now in the last week. We like it so much we've decided to make it an every Sunday night tradition - ok, maybe not EVERY Sunday, but with some regularity anyway. We've had the butter chicken, chicken korma, palak paneer, tandoori chicken, spicy rice with chicken, chicken skewers marinated in yogurt with spices, and their garlic naan. Even my picky 11-year-old eats their delicious food. We live in Clifton, so it's nice to find some authentic Indian only 10 minutes from our home. The wait staff is so courteous. The restaurant when you go in is immaculate. Reasonable prices. Spent less than two minutes inside picking up my order. You can pre-order for pick-up online. Ready in 20 minutes. We had a great experience here. We came for lunch and although the buffet option is not available due to COVID-19, we had a great meal. We had the samosas and the butter chicken. They were really good. The portions are hearty and they included the dessert. The service and server were great. He was very attentive and extremely nice. Love their tandoori chicken. It comes whole and has a lot of meat. Super flavorful with a ton of spices. The vegetable pakora is so crispy and delicious. A great veggie appetizer.
