Wasn't sure it was the right order. So disappointed. I was craving Indian. This DID NOT hit the spot. I would ask for my money back but they wouldn't give it to me. I am sure. Decided to go here on a whim Sunday evening since wer were craving Indian food. Ended up being one of the best meals I've had this year. The two waitresses were nice and accommodating considering we got there 50 minutes to closing. We got the vegetable samosa as an appetizer and it came out fresh and crispy. The samosa was really good but I'll try a different app next time I go back. We got the Kadai chicken as our entree, the description said mild but man it was pretty spicy but very delicious. don't often write negative reviews, but unfortunately, my experience at this Indian restaurant fell far below expectations. While I appreciate restaurants that focus on food over ambiance, this place struggled to deliver on both. We started with the papdi chaat, and while the concept was promising, the execution wasn't quite there. The potatoes were overly spiced, and the dish lacked enough yogurt or chutneys to balance the flavors. For the main course, I ordered the paneer tikka masala. Sadly, it was oily, and the paneer itself was hard, which detracted from the dish. The naan, a staple in any Indian meal, was also underwhelming. That said, there were some positives. The complimentary papadum was a nice touch, and the accompanying yogurt-based chutney was refreshing and different from the usual green chutney. The prices are very reasonable--lower than most Indian restaurants--which might appeal to those new to Indian cuisine or on a budget. The service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, as someone familiar with Indian food, I found the overall quality disappointing and won't be returning. Oh my... We really hoped this experience was going to be 5 stars but sadly the stars were not shining for us. My hope is that we went on an off day, because Fort Worth needs a great Indian restaurant. So what did we order? Butter Chicken: 2 out of 5 Saag Paneer: 1 out of 5 Garlic Naan: 1 out of 5 Honestly, I think there was just a lack of salt which prevented the flavors from being highlighted more. Everything just seemed bland. Now, there was a pro! The chicken and cheese were cooked nicely. They were not dry, too chewy or tough. So how was the service? Service: 1 out of 5 The woman taking care of the front was young and kind but seemed overwhelmed by the tables. We only had one cup of water with no refills our entire 1.5hr meal. With that said, the kitchen had to be understaffed. The meal took a long time to get out to us and when it did... it was cold. That was probably the most disappointing part. Unfortunately, everything from food to service and ambiance was too far off for us that we do not plan going back. The restaurant is easy to find, but I was surprised to see only 1 family eating there. The food was good, and the masala had a sweetness to it that I wasn't used to. The portion was reasonable. The chicken tikka masala was delicious me and my husband enjoyed the medium spice and our kids ages 4 & 9 enjoyed the mild chicken tikka masala. Two notes on the food: 1. The white rice that was served was the longest-grain rice I've ever seen. 2. I ordered a Sprite which came in a 500 ml glass bottle, bottled in Mexico. The prices were very good and the service was wonderful. I'm writing this review a little while after our visit and I remember the food was very good. We enjoyed the paneer masala and I can't recall the name of the dish, but there was one that had cubed paneer with onions and tomatoes and seasoning that was our favorite. We also tried a bread that had potato inside that was very tasty. Overall, I loved the place. The bowls that the paneer came in were beautiful. I like that there's an Indian grocery store right next door. I think we'll try things a little more heavily spiced next time because we asked for two and it was light so that makes me a bit more brave. read more

Really enjoyed this spot. We got Masala, Garlic Naan, and Bullet Naan all to go and we were impressed! Masala we got was medium heat which was perfect and the Naan is hard to mess up. I truly have no idea why this place has 5 stars! Where to begin.... The service was ridiculous! The two young girls, and yes that is what I will call them because they acted like children. Who I could only assume were sisters and probably the owners daughters. Were rude, unhelpful and incompetent. They were more concerned with talking to a table of women and children that maybe could have been relatives but whom were not eating, rather than serve their customers. The younger of the two couldn't answer anything about the menu, she was not too young, maybe 14-15 years old, so old enough to know better and to know the menu at her families restaurant. A lady next to us got upset b/c she didn't think they got her order correct and the youngest of the two just said "not my fault, I didn't take your order, she did!" The older sister who appeared 16-17 years old at least, wasn't much better. And the two kept yelling at each other or someone else in the kitchen. At one point the older one said "fat bitch" as she was coming out of the kitchen, this was after the lady next to us complained. Unsure if she was calling her that, her sister that or somebody else in the kitchen that??? Regardless it was unnecessary. To top it off when the younger girl was bringing out the neighboring tables Tandoori Chicken that she had been waiting on for a good 15 mins, she was careless and dropped a piece on the floor with a plop and then told the lady "don't worry about that I will pick it up in a min", the lady said "yea but what about half my meal that you dropped on the floor" the server said "I can go and get another piece from the kitchen!" The kitchen that just took 15 mins to get the dish out to her after she had had all her other food delivered. Then the girl said "my bad!" But with really no remorse or true concern that she dropped her food on the floor! She wasn't even embarrassed or ashamed about doing it or offered any apology until the customer said something! Was hoping the food would make up for it but it didn't. First the food came out one dish at a time, at least 5 or more minutes b/w them being delivered, which was the main complaint of the lady beside us. The biryani just tasted like the fried onions they cooked into it. At least the lamb was really tender. The butter chicken and tikka masala was too sweet and we ordered everything medium heat and would say they had NO heat. The best thing we ate was vegetable samosas which was the only thing that actually had any spice and the garlic naan was pretty good. But neither made up for the disappointing dishes and horrible service. The ONLY reason we went there was because of the supposed 5 star review on Yelp! Won't fall for that again with Yelp! More ppl need to give honest reviews for this place so other ppl will not get duped! Shame on those young ladies and their parents! The Ambiance was essentially what you would expect for an old strip mall Indian food restaurant, doesn't add anything to the experience but what we expected.
