    Dry flavorless aloo gobi

06/24/2026 Wednesday 6:10 pm. So disappointed. Ordered to go which I never do. It was terrible. The samosas were okay. Absolutely flavorless aloo gobi (no spice),and no gravy at all. Wasn't sure it was the right order. So disappointed. I was craving Indian. This DID NOT hit the spot. I would ask for my money back but they wouldn't give it to me. I am sure. I might just have to drive 10 minutes more to Arlington for Indian food at Herbs. My recommendation is you go some place else.

Decided to go here on a whim Sunday evening since wer were craving Indian food. Ended up being one of the best meals I've had this year. The two waitresses were nice and accommodating considering we got there 50 minutes to closing. We got the vegetable samosa as an appetizer and it came out fresh and crispy. The samosa was really good but I'll try a different app next time I go back. We got the Kadai chicken as our entree, the description said mild but man it was pretty spicy but very delicious. We had the kadai chicken with garlic naan. Our craving was 100% and we will definitely be back soon.

don't often write negative reviews, but unfortunately, my experience at this Indian restaurant fell far below expectations. While I appreciate restaurants that focus on food over ambiance, this place struggled to deliver on both. We started with the papdi chaat, and while the concept was promising, the execution wasn't quite there. The potatoes were overly spiced, and the dish lacked enough yogurt or chutneys to balance the flavors. For the main course, I ordered the paneer tikka masala. Sadly, it was oily, and the paneer itself was hard, which detracted from the dish. The naan, a staple in any Indian meal, was also underwhelming. That said, there were some positives. The complimentary papadum was a nice touch, and the accompanying yogurt-based chutney was refreshing and different from the usual green chutney. The prices are very reasonable--lower than most Indian restaurants--which might appeal to those new to Indian cuisine or on a budget. The service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, as someone familiar with Indian food, I found the overall quality disappointing and won't be returning. I hope the restaurant can take this feedback as an opportunity to improve, as it has potential in terms of price point and service.

Oh absolutely love Texas Indian. This was our second time back. It feels like a very family run restaurant. They're not gonna impress you with any of the service or atmosphere, but it is a cozy and welcoming space. The food is phenomenal! Definitely the best Indian that we have had DFW this far. Get the chicken curry!

Oh my... We really hoped this experience was going to be 5 stars but sadly the stars were not shining for us. My hope is that we went on an off day, because Fort Worth needs a great Indian restaurant. So what did we order? Butter Chicken: 2 out of 5 Saag Paneer: 1 out of 5 Garlic Naan: 1 out of 5 Honestly, I think there was just a lack of salt which prevented the flavors from being highlighted more. Everything just seemed bland. Now, there was a pro! The chicken and cheese were cooked nicely. They were not dry, too chewy or tough. So how was the service? Service: 1 out of 5 The woman taking care of the front was young and kind but seemed overwhelmed by the tables. We only had one cup of water with no refills our entire 1.5hr meal. With that said, the kitchen had to be understaffed. The meal took a long time to get out to us and when it did... it was cold. That was probably the most disappointing part. Unfortunately, everything from food to service and ambiance was too far off for us that we do not plan going back. My hope is that they will continue to produce 5 star meals for others, though!

Delicious Indian food near south Fort Worth. Make sure to try the garlic naan and check out the international grocer next door when you're done.

This is a new Indian restaurant that opened on Trial Lake in Wedgwood and OMG its wonderful! I've been struggling to find a decent Indian restaurant in Fort Worth, but now FINALLY! Everything we tried was excellent. The service is very friendly, as well. The dining room is small, but that's OK. I honestly cannot wait to come again!

Just got home with my order and am in shock at how bad everything was. The butter chicken had a half inch thick layer of oil on top, the tikka Marsala is such as uncanny red color and tasted horrible-like they dumped a whole bag of sugar in the sauce. I actually gagged. The dal is ok, as is the biriyani but not enough for me to ever go back. So disappointed. Y

    Garlic naan a must!!!

Delicious food, at a very reasonable price. Typical Indian restaurant menu. The perfect take-home place.

Right before then she came to process my payment after so said I would just pay for my beverage as I no longer wanted the food. I also had to tell her they let me sit over 30 minutes without even checking to see if I needed water when the pitcher was walked around the room. The customer service team member initially advised there was no manager available. When I got ready to leave she sent a friend that looked like she was just clocking in. She also confirmed she was not the manager when I asked directly.

Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last six months to a year. The portions have gradually gotten smaller, and the sauces taste noticeably different. When we asked about it once, we were told it depends on who's cooking that day, which is understandable, but the inconsistency became hard to ignore. The smaller portions, however, have been quite consistent. Toward the end of our visits there, it felt like we were getting mostly sauce with very little meat, which is disappointing for a place we used to rave about. We're now on the search for a new Indian restaurant to take the spot of what was once one of our absolute favorites.

We've eaten here 3x now, and it's always great tasting food. But the service was really slow, while only just two tables had diners. ( us and another couple) then a few to go orders while we waited . Yes, it's Christmas Day holiday so I can be forgiving with being slow. I get that, but ... The thing that rubbed me wrong the most was the waitress only wanted to bring one togo container for all 4 four plates of food . Like we were just going to slap it all together like pig slop. We had to specifically ask for four seperate containers. They also brought one foil wrap for the leftover Naan for two couples . So we mixed ours with our daughter and her boyfriend . Needless to say we didn't get any of it . I'd go back, but they surly need to train the waitress better. Maybe, it's a tradition in India to not have ice with a water, but is a little off-putting especially when the drink menu is so limited . It's a small place only for accommodating small parties. The dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired.

The employees were so friendly and helpful. I'm not a big hot/spicy fan so they comforted me and said all the food could be made more in a mild flavor. We chose the garlic Naan bread and tomato Shorba for appetizers. The soup was extremely hot so we had to let it cool but the first taste was spectacular! I loved it. Not too spicy and had a little creamy texture that was very tasty. The Naan bread was a HUGE plate and we ended up taking 1/2 of it home. It was hot, fresh and really good flavors! Some of the best I've experienced. For our entrees I had the Indo Chinese Hakka with chicken and it was AMAZING! I loved every bite. The noodles are thin and the spices were perfect. They give very healthy portions here too. My wife had the Tikka Masala and she loved hers. The rice was cooked perfectly and the sauce/chicken was so good. I took several bites. Once again a large portion and she took 1/2 home. I wanted to try the desserts but I just couldn't since I was so full. For a non-Indian eater this will be on my list to visit again and try another dish!

The food is always hot and constantly being made. The flavors are amazing and they have veggie options as well. They have a salad section as well as a dessert station as well. I never seen it be busy, it has good customer service and is very clean. That rice is so fluffy I would eat that everyday, my favorite dish after that is probably the chicken tikka masala. Then the tandori chicken is finger-licking good paired with some of their nan bread. The spice level is not crazy like other places so I think why so many people come here as well, because its a nice balance on flavor and spice. Like I mentioned before, I only been here for the buffet but I am sure their regular dinner services by the plate are just as delicious. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area to try it out.
