The food was amazing. Seriously. But the service was the worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant. We arrived at around 745. They brought us our food, forgot one plate of rice, didn't check on us after bringing us our food, we ask for rice, wait about 20 minutes, then ask again. We finished all of our food, waited for another 25 mins, no one checked on us. We didn't have drinks on our table for most of the time we were there, no one seemed to care. I got up, walked to the bar, and asked for the check. They brought the check a few minutes later, I asked for a box, we waited another 20 minutes passed, they bring the box, then they forget the foil to wrap the naan. We ended up having to get up again, to ask for the foil. Servers & hostesses were just talking and would not even look in our general direction. I would suggest take out, not dining in. It's 945pm and my boyfriend and I are just now walking out. $70 later. I hate to go there, but it almost felt like we were being treated differently because we were white/hispanic. Everyone else in the restaurant was of Indian descent, and seemed like they would get checked on constantly, even had their food packed up for them and placed in a paper bag. From the moment we walked in no one greeted us. There were several people who came to our table and didn't even say hello. It was a very awkward introduction. Server was rude and when I told them the food was too spicy instead of replacing it they just argued. Horrible service! read more

Love this place !!! It's the closest to any Indian food I have tasted after I came into the US, the ambience is good and their butter chicken and paneer butter masala with Garlic naan is out of the world ! Went to spend New Year's Eve. Disappointed with the food as it was under cooked. When we tried to explain to the owner he turned his back on us and walked away. When we followed him we were surrounded by severs, manager and kitchen staff so had to leave the place as we were with family. Beautiful new space and look, with a much more upscale feel than its recent home near FAU. Service, unfortunately was quite lacking. Out of 7 banquette tables and close to 20 tables in the dining room, ours was one of a total of five tables ( all two tops ) at an early dinner hour and it was impossible to get anyone's attention, repeatedly, throughout our meal. Good News! So happy this new Indian restaurant opened just two days ago close to me. Tried the Baingan Bharta as a take away, this is my always try dish on the first visit. I made a 40 minute drive to this place after speaking to an employee over the phone twice about an item on the menu to make sure it was still available and authentic- she assured me it was. Once I got there, I ordered the item along with another item. Both of them turned out to be cheap knockoffs of the popular Indian street foods. Not only were certain basic ingredients missing from the dishes, but the vegetables were chopped horribly even the seasoning was bad. When I brought it up to the manager, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He told me that they are not allowed to be honest to customers on the phone about the authenticity of the food and they don't serve authentic Indian food there. I was shocked at his behavior. He then proceeded to justify saying no one makes authentic food in this country. I came for good food and not a bad lecture from a dishonest manager. With this kind of mentality and lack of business skills and integrity, he's going to be polishing glasses for the rest of his life just like was when he was justifying his food. Thankfully I googled and found an amazing Indian restaurant nearby called Tanjore which not only had authentic food, but also their service was outstanding and made me feel welcomed there. You need to work on making sure your food is so good that you don't have to cheat or lie to your customers to get business- just like this other place, and many other places. read more

4 senior citizens arriving for dinner after a movie around 7:30. Were seated promptly and crackers and condiments placed quickly on our table. Server never came back to get our order. Flagged him down and he took our order, sort of. He could not answer questions about the items, wrote down word for word what we said, never took our menus away or cleared away the appetizer plates, both of which we placed on a neighboring table where they remained for the next 90 minutes. Another server came to inquire about what we had ordered to drink and brought them. After waiting an hour, a middle aged man, likely the owner, said there were problems in the kitchen but that our order was being worked on and would be ready shortly. But one of the chicken orders we had place could not be made only with white meat because it was pre-prepared. A half an hour later, after we had been there for 90 minutes, we walked out. People who came in after us were served before us. Why anyone would subject themselves to this kind of treatment is beyond me. We had been there once before, Valentine's Day in a previous year, and we thought the slow service was due to the holiday. Obviously they just have lousy service. Can't comment on the food. Food is good. Service completely fails every time. This was my 3rd attempt at this place and each time I have come there are maybe 3 or 4 other parties. Today we walk in behind a guy who came in to see if they could accommodate 11. They tell him yes and he leaves the restaurant to go tell his party. The entire staff leave my husband and I standing at the hostess booth to move tables around for the party that is not even in the restaurant yet. Finally the hostess came assuming we were with the party and I told her it's just us 2, she then points at a booth and we go and sit . We get water and then nothing...we are literally watching all the people that came after us get their drink and complimentary baskets and still nobody even acknowledged us. We had a conversation about going someplace else if no one shows up in the next few minutes and.......we left. The past 2 visits we put up with it but I think I'm done with this place.
