3.75 Not entirely impressed. When you walk in it's a bit unclear whether you seat yourself, wait to be seated, or order then sit... I initially said "delightful" because as you walk in you are greeted with cases of beautiful pastries, baked goods and a salad bar. We placed our order and sat down. My husband ordered the Caesar sandwich wich came with a small salad. I ordered a cup of potato cream soup, Caesar salad and croissant. Our food came out one at a time (with about 5 min or so in between ), first my soup, then his salad, then my salad, then his sandwich and finally my croissant. I had to send the soup back as there was an empty wrapper/sugar packet in the soup. As we sat I couldn't help but notice the waitress wandering aimlessly through the dining area with food plates in her hands trying to figure out where the food went. When she got to the table the food was auctioned off. I don't like that. Know your orders and where, and to whom they go to. What a delicious surprise! Tucked away in a strip mall across from NASA you will find homemade, yummy croissants!! Flaky, delicious perfection! My husband said his omelet was very good. I didn't give five stars because I haven't tried multiple items offered on the menu, but other patrons appeared quite satisfied! Service was very good. read more

I've always had take out but this is a clean cozy place. The breakfast croissant is large and good but I thought the hash browns cooked like a muffin to be bland. The tuna salad sandwich was extremely bland. I had one on toast. The tuna salad is wet but not in a good way. I think in an attempt to be healthy very little if any mayo is used and it lacks seasonings such as salt pepper or pickles. There was no mayo on the bread making it even more tasteless . The side green salad was a cup full of cut up romaine and that's it. I like romaine and considered that the best part of the meal. Since this place is new and not far from where I live I will giving it several more opportunities to improve. I would love a local cafe to make it read more

You just lost one loyal customer! I've been ordering fruit berry waffle all the time, and they used to give me a big bowl of fruits and berries. This time this new girl I think she's a little older. Gave me fruits in a 4-5oz condiment cup! And said the other girls and guy in the kitchen over portioned the other times! What?! I'm paying 8.xx for a waffle with just a tiny bit of fruits and berries, you're really cheap! Had breakfast this morning and the sweetest girl behind the register helped us. Then came a crazy lady who walked behind the counter to get someone's attention. -who does that? My husband and I wanted to bless the girl working so we bought a muffin and tipped generously. First of all, that was THE BEST blueberry muffin I've ever had. Hot, saturated with blueberries. Then my breakfast came and- I don't live anywhere CLOSE to this place but- I'll be back for those hash browns. This place really has some potential. We came here at about 1pm on a Saturday to get a late brunch. I ordered the Bon Appetite breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The hash browns were the best I've ever had, and the portion was plentiful. For $6, you can't beat that. My husband had the turkey croissant sandwich with tomato soup and he said his was tasty as well. They also have an assortment of French style bakery pastries and coffee that might be worth coming over for one afternoon. Service wasn't stellar but good enough for me considering everything else. This is called "a hidden gem" by my wife, after we ate breakfast there one Saturday. We were so pleased, we came back the next day to have breakfast there again. Their croissants are fresh, coffee is fresh & good. Other customers enjoyed their pancakes & waffles while we were there. I had eggs cooked to order (new item off the menu, not yet on written menu)- on blackboard as one enters is Huevos Rancheros, well done with frijoles & your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Counter service, but they will bring your order to the table. Busiest day we have seen was Saturday brunch, well-attended by locals. Sunday AM was surprisingly not too busy, but quick service. The booths are comfy if a little worn, and tables and chairs seem serviceable. A small side room is a community favorite, both for groups and weekend AM brunch lounging. This is a great, reasonably priced place to get your morning nibble. Their croissants and hash browns are fresh and excellent, and their americano is a lovely way to begin your day! And the bacon is perfectly crispy. You could definitely get a couple of things and eat by the gorgeous carved wood fireplace (that I haven't seen on yet), or get a little cafe table with your girlfriends or family. read more

Came in for the first time today. I didn't realize this is not your typical sit down and order. I ordered a few things at the counter then I sat down, I got my food but no drinks. Come to find out I had to get my own water and they were making my other drinks. That's fine but they need to maybe ask people who don't look familiar if they have been there before or not. Once we received our drinks, one of which was for a kid, and heated incredibly hot. And my drink was full of espresso grounds. This place could be good but it wasn't really that great. Tried Bon Appetit Cafe a couple of weeks ago for breakfast. It was scrumptious with very generous portions. I ordered the original breakfast with the waffle. It was probably one of the best waffles I've ever eaten. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The ambience is a little lacking, to me it had the feel of a cafeteria. I returned yesterday for lunch and had a most unpleasant experience. My friend ordered a salad and I ordered tomato basil soup with a chicken caesar sandwich. They immediately served my soup and my friends spinach salad. By the time they had served my sandwich, my friend had completely eaten her entree item. The soup was flavorless, I thought I was eating a flour paste. When the sandwich arrived it was very disappointing as well. It was deli cut chicken with a slab of Swiss cheese on top with a meager amount of salad on a decent hoagie bun. Trust me if you want a really good chicken Caesar salad sandwich, tomato basil soup and spinach salad run, don't walk, to La Madeline's. We choose this place because we wanted breakfast and they serve it all day. When arriving, the outside was a little run down and grungy. The inside had a small town feel, warm and quiant, like grandma's kitchen. You order at the register and the cashier was warm and inviting. Prices were great! Food came out very fast and was excellent! I had the Omelette Luxe which had egg whites, mushrooms, spinach, and chicken, served with a baguette, delish!! My husband had the breakfast with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and a huge waffle. Everything was yummy especially the waffle that was cooked to perfection! Nope. I will never eat here again. I almost walked out the moment we walked in due to the stagnant water smell that radiated the restaurant. The whole place just seemed dirty and poorly put together. But we were pressed for time and needed breakfast. The idea of this place is original but the food is terrible. I've been to France. This is not a French breakfast. This isn't even American. I can scramble real eggs at home. The food is terrible. Coffee was terrible. The croissants were decent however I question that they were store bought. Croissants are very difficult to make, eggs aren't. I feel like the eggs were from a powder substance and they added water. The sausage was frozen, no name patties and they were disgusting. I'd rather eat McDonald's breakfast. Please don't waste your time stopping in here you will be very disappointed. read more

First time here this morning and I will say it was very very good! I'm not a big fan of waffles but they had the best waffles I've ever had, you do not even need to put syrup on them. I had the Bon Apatite Omelet, it had flavor and mass which made it very filling. My wife had the Croissant ham and cheese sandwich and it was a large sandwich, she said it was almost too much. The biscuits and gravy are not the typical country style but we're very tasty. We liked the fact that it wasn't greasy like a lot of other places and your order came out quick and everyone that worked there were very polite and helpful. Went here for breakfast because of positive reviews on Yelp. Mistake. While the staff was friendly, you have to order at a cash register. The menu is very limited. The only way they prepare eggs is scrambled which I'm pretty sure were just spooned out of warming tray. Breakfast sausage was dry and over cooked. No gluten free options. No table service.
