We drive 30 minutes just to come here it is that good. I love that you can cook your own food at the table & there are already cooked foods & don't forget your amazing sides. The wait staff is always nice & on top of things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a ton of seating, all with cooking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They always end your meal with iced cinnamon water, it is so refreshing.

Awesome variety of sides and meats. Pretty good price for the dinner special. And the service is pretty good as well. Probably my go to spot when I don't want to travel too far.

Bon KBBQ is located on Cooper st in Arlington serving the community with and all inclusive serve your self style Korean BBQ experience! We came by on a Saturday morning right after 11am when they opened. We were greeted by the hostess and properly seated in a comfy booth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside this fine establishment the ambiance was set high in a fashionable modern setting. The tone was nice and dim with light and soft music playing in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The layout was extremely put together well with full bars of uncooked meat, marinated meat and a bar with buffet already prepared items[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. They also had a cold bar station that serves cold dishes as well such as seaweed salad, kim cheese, and mac salad. The prepared items consisted of plenty of dishes such as chicken wings, fried rice, and fried noodles and many many more to choose from! The meat station was well put together serving your typical pork belly, marinated bulgogi, and many seafood options like squid, shrimp, and mussels. There was also a soup bar that had seaweed soup with chunks of beef bone inside, miso soup, pumpkin soup, and a clear soup along with finely chopped onions for garnish. When we sat down we were also given menus with more cuts of meat! These meats were your typical beef belly, brisket, short ribs. We were told when we simply need service to switch the lamp on and server will be on their way for service. Everything went well and the service provided was superb! The prices were fair and average and the food quality was unbeatable for the prices. I will definitely come back again and try some different cuts of meat along with different dishes. The serve yourself style was great along from ordering off a menu. The meat was well marinated and seasoned and hot foods were kept hot while cold foods stayed cold pertaining to the guidelines of foodservice.

Oh, when it was named another name was my favorite and first Korean barbecue. Under the other name, however it began to degrade, but it was sold and The new owner has made it revive and flourish. I enjoyed all my favorites at the meat bar. There's a large selection of meats that you can get immediately or select meets and select cuts that you can ask for to be delivered to your table. There is far more salads and veg than other Korean barbecue places I've been to. There's also hot and ready food for To Go if you'd like... The wait staff is friendly and helpful and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant is pretty and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend.

Excellent KBBQ spot for all your meaty needs. Came for lunch which is probably the best time to come since their menu offers all the meat options that you would want at 18.99$ to satisfy your cravings. They also have a very nice buffet line with various marinated meats, fried chicken, rice, noodles and bonchon dishes. I love it here and is the only place I go to for KBBQ.

The food is delicious and flavorful! The pasta options are wonderful and there are meat options for everyone. It is a fun place for a date. I don't recommend going with people who do not know how to cook or people who wash their meats Service is nice but basic. I recommend learning Korean before you go. Bathrooms need some cleaning.

Horrible grill condition. Peeling and crusting off and getting on the meat

Ask the Community - Bon KBBQ

What is the price for kids under 3?

Free! My 2 year old wasn't charged when we went!

Do they take reservations online? Or only via phone calls?

I believe you can call them in. I don't know about online. Check their website and see.

    Is it byob?

    Nope.

    Are there any vegetarian options?

Yes. The soup and the ban chan are vegetarian. But everything that goes on the grill is pretty much meat

Does this place do ayce kbbq for one person or do I need 2 people?

You can for sure do the AYCE with just one person.

Is it good for a family bday party ...about 12 people?

So long as people enjoy meat and Korean food, yes.

Should you make a reservation when going on a Friday night around 7:30?

I'd only recommend it if you are a party of 3 or more. Weekend night do seem pretty busy but not crazy.

    Lunch price on the weekend?

How much is it for the buffet?

For lunch the other day it was about 15 bucks.

What is the price on Sunday?

I believe its the same as dinner prices of $19.99.

I would say they need to be on tables to wipe them down before the next people sit down, maybe figure some fly control & clean up/ touch up paint the walls in that front room. Rating: 6.5/10 Date Last Visited: 7/12/2026…read more I ordered Brisket ($35/lb), Pork Ribs ($29/lb), the Texas Twinkie ($6), and a quart of Hatch Chili Mac N Cheese ($15). The brisket and pork ribs were decent, but honestly pretty dry and lacking in flavor when compared to some other BBQ places in DFW. For the price, it's pretty similar to other BBQ in the area. The Texas Twinkie is a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and brisket and wrapped in bacon. It was my favorite item as the cream cheese and bacon balanced out the spiciness of the jalapeño. The mac n cheese was also delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The service was great too as they made a mistake on my order and quickly corrected it. I like that this place is open daily and for dinner too. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for some BBQ, but if you're a huge fan of BBQ then I recommend going to the other top BBQ places.

This place is AMAZING, it's the best BBQ I've had in my life (I lived in Texas for 20+ years). All the meats were amazing. The pork rib was the best thing, so tender and juicy. The pork belly was a huge surprise - it's so good too. The turkey was one of the most moist turkey I've ever had my entire life. The sausage was cheesy and juicy, one of the best ones I've had. The brisket was solid too, but surprisingly my least favorite of all the meat I ordered. The desserts were decent, but I don't think I would order that again. Would 100% come back and it's definitely worth the 2-3 hour wait. I would recommend coming early at 8 or 9 AM to wait in line and avoid the food selling out (which happens as the day goes on - pretty much everything is sold out by 1 PM).

If you like a stronger black pepper taste in your bbq then I think you'll like it. I do think their subtle asian twists on bbq is cool and unique. Ordered: - Brisket - They give alternate half and half lean vs moist. It was good I liked it. - Beef Ribs - Mom was interested in trying it so we got it. I'm just a pork rib girl more than a beef rib girl. - Pork Ribs - Unfortunately, it wasn't as "fall of the bone" as other places. It may have just been the piece we got, but the one we had was 70% bark and 30% meat (if that make sense, I prefer more of a true 50/50 split) - Lamb Ribs - Not something you see at every bbq so we got some to try. I liked it. Can't decide which one I like more between pork vs lamb ribs. - Lao Sausage - Their sausage is kinda big. I felt like 1 sausage is the size of 2 sausages at other bbq joints. It's serves with sticky rice and honestly it works really well. - Mac & Cheese - A bit heavy on the pepper. It was alright not my favorite mac and cheese. - South Carolina Pork Hash - a unique side that is special to them. Pork Gravy over jasmine rice. Too mushy for me. - Lemon Kale Slaw - It was alright. Not my favorite slaw. - Banana Pudding - Yummy. I really like their banana pudding. It had a slight cinnamon and almost graham cracker taste to it. - House made bread - Yummy. Almost like a sweet roll meets white bread. We went on a rainy Friday morning. Arrived at 9:30 ish, got our food and seated by 12:30 ish. Asked the dude first in line what time he got there and he said 7:30ish. People abandon their lawn chairs so they had a decent amount near the entrance of the store that people just borrow while they're waiting. When the rain got bad, they let customers wait in the covered area where they store the smokers which was nice.
