I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that. It was delicious There are several items on the menu that I have to try. I took a few pictures of the Spring menu and I've added them below. The gulf shrimp is on my radar and I need to try the venison burger. I just need to get past the gyro lamb burger with tzatziki. It's just so good.

Our waiter had 4 tables and struggled to keep up. These tables were at various stages of eating/ordering/waiting for food and checking out. He seemed to struggle with excellent customer service. Perhaps it was running up and down the stairs . One table came after we got our food, and he was down to 3, and after sitting for 10 minutes they left. We will be back. Hoping for better customer service. We even cleared our own table and got our take out containers.

While Isabella's is a mainstay for Soaring Eagle Resortists, I was somewhat disappointed during my…read morelast visit. First off their menu was close to if not exactly the same as a year ago. In years past Isabella's has been a fairly nice break from the standard resort/casino bar and buffets reaching up to 4-5 stars. There calamari was previously very good whereas during this last visit it seemed really pedestrian. The rings were deep fried alongside whole pickled cherry peppers filled what I'd guess to be mascarpone. The bruschetta was so so as was the service. The prices are however very fair! For my entree I ordered the NY strip and their garlic smashed. The steak was cooked properly and the mashed potatoes were garlicky but could've used a touch of cream. They were a little too pasty and translucent. My dad had ordered the risotto of the day along with the salmon. He liked his salmon and we both tried the risotto which was more of a kitchen sink risotto offering sausage, mushrooms and a host of other ingredients (honestly, our server just kept adding things to the list that I'm guessing the chef needed to use up). It missed the mark. That aside, whenever we're at SEC we always eat at Isabella's at least one night so I'll return to see what has changed on the menu on my next visit.

He was friendly and personable and took a genuine interest in our experience. I enjoyed the shrimp and pasta as well as the delicious focus bread made there daily. My only suggestion for improvement is some the wines by the glass elections were unavailable with no replacements. Therefore the selection was limited.

They had a nice diverse menu with plenty of options. I highly recommend as soon as you sit down to get an order of Parker House rolls for the table. It's a great way to start and get some food in your belly! I started with the shrimp cocktail which was great. These weren't giant colossal shrimp, but there were plenty of fresh, peeled cold shrimp with a decent cocktail sauce for dipping. The greens on top had a horseradish flavor which was interesting to say the least. The Onion Soup was also quite delicious with a rich, brown broth loaded with onions, a soggy crouton and plenty of cheese. It was piping hot and hit the spot after freezing all day in the conference center areas of the hotel. Finally, I had the steak sandwich with fries. Man, that was a delicious sandwich with lots of thinly slices ribeye. It was moist, flavorful and the bread was good too. Those fries were also great. They were crispy with the right amount of salt! Yum! I was full from the other items so I could not finish it, but man I wanted to. Others at the table enjoyed the Parker house rolls as well as the Fish and Chips and Salmon dinner. None of us had room for dessert but that tall ass piece of chocolate cake was calling my name! Our server (Liz) was amazing. Very attentive even after working a double. I think we may have been her last table. She was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. I recommend making a reservation to be sure you can eat at a time you want. Otherwise, you may need to wait a bit or get shut out completely.

App. Spinach dip. Just ok. Similar to what you would get at Applebees. Strip steak, medium. Came out gray looking and rare. Covered in a sweetish gravy‍. Not good. If you want a well seasoned grilled strip steak, this is not it. Sides were just ok. Pesto Pasta papperdelle with shrimp. A bit dry. Good taste but too many pistachios on top. Shrimp was good quality. Dessert. Chocolate cake. Ok. Overall the meal was underwhelming and not worth the pricey final bill.
