I've come back a few times and the service has definitely gotten better. I haven't seen that waiter that was rude to me since the first time I came. Food comes out in 15 min or less and is delicious! The soy garlic drumsticks is always the way to go. There was only one time the food took maybe 30 min or so to come out, but that's because there was an event going on, which the waitress apologized for. Food is okay, definitely has lost some quality and quantity over the last few years. New owners seem very cheap and skimp heavily on the to go orders for kimchi. $3 for barely half a container of kimchi? Not to mention playing slow Vietnamese music in a KOREAN franchise. Servers look bored and unfriendly. There are only two waitresses that are ever good to me. Sad to say but this place is not what it used to be. The last two times that I e been here during lunch time has been a ghost town. Edit 11/11/21 The day I ordered the food, I opened the kimchi container and got a spoiled smell and had to throw it away. Called the restaurant to explain my experience and was told to drive back the 20minutes for a $3 refund or replacement. Was also told that the kimchi that was given to me was from a different brand and that it's not what they usually order. I came and gave this place a try after hearing great things about bonchon chicken. Ordered a few items and the first thing that comes out is the fried chicken and it was cold. This was very disappointing. We told them and I'm pretty sure they just dropped it back into the frier Bc it came out extra dry. The noodles weren't bad because that came out steaming hot. The tacos and the buns. Ehhh. The pork in the buns were a bit salty and there is definitely more bun than meat and vegetables. I probably will not be coming here again. This was just an overall disappointment. I gave two stars for their service. There is definitely room for improvement. Also, their music. I get that people like to listen to hip music but they played music with a lot of curse words. This review is based on the quality of their food and service. I've been coming here since this location opened and always give the benefit of the doubt thinking they'll possibly get it right the next time. I went in on 9/28 for a pickup order and requested my wings double glazed as always and every time the wings are dry af. I enjoyed coming here because of the vibe but the wings always looked like us was prepared half ass. On this specific occasion I paid for dry as hell burnt wings. So I called the very next business day (9/29) and spoke with an associate name Ni and told her I receive an order of wings that are burnt. She proceeds to ask for my information to look up my order and informed me the wings are made like that! I told her it's bitter and even the parts that aren't burnt are bitter. She then asks me if I would like to replace the order the very same day I spoke with her and I told her I will call another day for the replacement order and she said okay. There was a language barrier, so I repeated to her that all I have to do is call and place a replacement order for the burnt wings correct? And she said yes and I had a feeling there might be an issue due to the language barrier so I repeated to her again. I called today 10/10/23 to place my replacement order and spoke with 2 associates and the first girl I spoke with really couldn't do anything. She literally told me "I don't know what to do". So I asked to speak with a manager and she then tells me there's no manager there right now, but she'll try to get someone else to help. So someone else comes on the phone and I explained the same thing all over and she looked my info up and says the only thing noted was a discount of 15% off and that's the only notes she sees in there system and proceeds to ask if I want to place an order with the discount after explaining to her so I just wasted my money on burnt wings and threw them away! I declined and hung up. The service of remedying this situation is horrible and surprising since I have always received great customer service at this location. It sucks that the quality of service is no longer there and the quality of the food has also gone down since opening at this location. They are under staffed and the waitress/waiters look like chickens with their heads cut off because they are trying to attend to multiple tables at once. I've been there 3 times. I have only ordered online from this specific Bonchon. I usually get a medium combo of Korean Fried Chicken (Half & Half Soy Garlic and Spicy). In terms of the actual food, I consistently find that my wings are a bit soggy by the time it gets to me. In terms of the actual flavor, it wasn't anything mind blowing. It is just the typical soy garlic and spicy Korean fried chicken. Based off of the food alone, I think Bonchon is an okay choice if you are craving fried chicken, as my chicken is usually soggy and I find myself not craving them in general. read more

We also did half spicy and half soy garlic. The wings come out hot, good size, good crunch, and tasty. I preferred the spicy only bc the soy garlic seemed to lack some flavor. We also had a side of fries which were good and decent ranch to go along with it. All in all it was a good experience. Service was nice and the prices were fair for what you got. The poor waitress had to apologize several times for the wait because she noticed us looking over at other customers who got their food before we did. First time here. Walked in and saw a sign for a Salmon Avocado ball, with no description. I should have asked what it was because after I got it home and took a large bite I realized there was crab or imitation crab. I am allergic to shellfish and some fishes, including the fish that is used for imitation crab. Thankfully it just gives me hives so I am uncomfortable for a few hours. But they need to put that this has more crab than salmon. Next time I order off menu, I will ask for ingredients. I also got the wrap with chicken and it was delicious. This is a very new location so I don't want to bash on them too much. Unfortunately, we did wait about 45 minutes-1 hour for just our appetizers to come out. And by the time my friend got his Bimbimbop, my boyfriend and I were halfway through with our wings. Not to mention the fact that my friends bimbimbop had melted plastic inside of the bowl from the small container of ketchup touching the stone pot for too long. After he made this known to one of the waiters, all the waiter asked was "well what do you want me to do about it?" My friend let him know he wanted the food remade but after about 20 minutes of his food still not at our table, he just canceled his entire order. Note that he did not receive his pot sticker appetizer this whole time either. Nor did my boyfriend and I get our french fries until we asked them to just take it off our tab since we were starting to run out of time. Also, the chicken is normally served with pickled daikon which they ran out of and failed to notify us about until we had to ask why our dish has coleslaw and not daikon. On the bright side, the waiter accommodated us with free kimchi for the inconvenience. In the end, they still gave us our fries and took it off our tab as well as giving a sincere apology about my friend not even getting his food the whole 2 hours we were there. I understand this is a new place and people are still learning but it would have been really nice if they just made it known that the kitchen is backed up and gave us at least a heads up on when our food will be arriving. Other than problems with the customer service, Takoyaki was very tasty and had the perfect crunchy outside and creamy inside. The chicken tacos had quite an interesting taste to them but a nice little kick with the hot sauce. Drum sticks were cooked well with a very crispy and not so oily skin and moist meat. As for the wings, I normally expect most spots to have very dry wings but I was very surprised and pleased with how juicy they came out to be. For the second time I ordered the XL Family Meal which is usually what I order for my family. I like to upgrade the fried rice to seafood fried rice. The soy garlic chicken was very good. It also taste great as left overs. The fries, coleslaw was good. The only problem I had was the white square radish side dish was not fresh. The water was gone and it smelled rotten.
