What happened to this place?…read more As recent as 3 years ago, Great Wall was among the best take out in the white plains area. Now, many of their dishes feel mediocre at best. Examples: General Tso's and Sesame Chicken are two different dishes, but they are virtually the same when prepared here. What's worse is that neither of them are tasty anymore. The chicken itself is tough, small and chewy, and the flavor is blah. The last time I ordered either of these, I just couldn't finish it due to the (lack of) quality. The sweet and sour pork is balls of battered bread with tiny hard-as-rocks meat inside. Even their pork fried rice has gone downhill - dry, no egg, and flavorless. On the positive side, there are still several dishes that are very tasty and well done, and the serving size on the combos is very good. Additionally, the service is always great - the staff is very nice and always has a smile even when it's busy. They make a point to remember repeat customer's orders, too. For the record: Don't go here to eat-in. It's tiny with 3 tables. It's really more of a take-out place. I still plan on dining with Great Wall, but I wish they'd get back to their former glory!

Whether you pick--up or need delivery, they are fast and efficient. I am glad to have found New China, since there was nothing comparable around. With their excellent attention to detail, incredible food and efficient service, we will always order our Chinese food from here. We also tell our friends and neighbors about this awesome food.
