Best server ever when we ate there last night!!! All the food was superb with one exception. One person in our party ordered the scallops which were served on Mexican corn. Not a great pairing to start with but this stuff was a holy f ing mess! Corn mixed with cream cheese and thick. I was debating between lobster and the scallops and I'm so glad I chose the lobster. We all had a taste of the concoction and was terrible. I would suggest the white rice or a rice pilaf be served with those delicious scallops. Stay away from that crap if you are at all doubtful!!! They also have a happy hour daily during which many drinks (including the martinis) are half off. The drinks are usually pretty strong and worth the money. I would definitely recommend this place. The big size portion of Chilean bass ($32.90 + taxes) came with two complementary sides. The Chilean bass was fresh, buttery with a lovely texture made out of big flakes. I chose the perfectly cooked green beans and the delightful coleslaw. The coleslaw was very flavorful and not overly drenched in mayonnaise. The mango sauce was a perfect pairing. This has been consistently my favorite entree at Bonefish grill. I tried the $14.70 crab cake appetizer with the red remoulade. The red remoulade is a spicy creamy sauce. This dish was average. It was overcooked, which made the texture of the crab meat mushy. There was a high amount of crab meat. Nevertheless, I was expecting visible flakes of crab meat versus a conglomerate of dust of crab meat. The pretty waitress Tiffany H. was efficient and friendly. They don't have a permanent manager and have a series of rotating managers from what I understand but whoever is there now seems to have things under control. This was by far the best scallops I have eaten in the Augusta area in 25 years. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. The shrimp was also cooked well and tasted great. Sides were also great. Sat here for 15 minutes with no one asking us what we will be having to drink and the place didn't look busy at all. After our server came along everything went by pretty smooth! We got hot tea and they had a variety of flavors to pick from, which was pretty awesome! The place started to slowly fill up but that didn't prolong our wait. The attire of the servers has got to be the best thing ever, in a chef like white jacket that lets you know that you're being served by cleanliness. Let's get to the food!! To start my shameless review of a chain restaurant I'll say what has probably been said a thousand times by other closeted chain restaurant lovers...order the bang bang shrimp. These sweet & spicy crispy bits of heaven are what dreams are made of. Put them on anything and I'll eat it (well...maybe). The dish that has most recently won over my heart is their shrimp and grits. How in the world can a dish have two things that I despise and taste SO good?! Goat cheese and olives are what make this dish incredibly hard to pass up at brunch. And the bottomless mimosas help me to forget the five pounds of bang bang shrimp I ate prior to my main dish. read more

This location was actually very nice The staff was very timely and professional. They brought out a loaf of bread with dipping oil and spices. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai which was surprisingly delish! Another person ordered the Shrimp Baja Tacos and they had the best assortment of goodies on top of them. Very nice service for the last Fish Friday of Lent. Absolutely had a great bday celebration. The 2 hiccups that day was we thought we were coming for brunch sat...but they hadn't updated the website so..we still enjoyed. Our server was Lauren I believe such an amazing person in general. The food was exceptional except the other hiccup which was undercooked mussles. They cooked a new set & they were perfect. If Aaron wasn't my middle name, it would be Local. I strive to eat, drink, shop, and promote local businesses and organizations as much as I can. So when it comes to "big name" restaurants I usually don't frequent, but meetings with a food fan of theirs has brought me to this location a few times in the last month. And here is what I discovered. They have some great food on the menu. There are still the classics; the bang-bang shrimp, the pesto and olive oil with bread. And then there are the new additions. A bourbon and bacon jam glazed pork chop with pineapple and chile, fresh asparagus cooked properly (has the crunch) with light butter. I have to admit, I was impressed. The team here each time were top notch and super helpful with suggestions (as I found everything on the menu inviting). I will mention that if you come with high expectations for bourbon (raising my hand now), you may have to compromise. I ordered some Booker's and we hit the bottom of the bottle. They only keep one bottle of the high shelf stuff. There are still plenty of options (i.e. Blanton's, Woodford) so your heart won't be broken for long. And if you somehow find room for dessert, their apple strudel with ice cream was phenomenal. And don't forget that Happy Hour starts daily at 4 pm. I need to stop in more often. read more

This place is open with a little bit of outdoor seating. When I first walked in a few minutes after 11 it was empty. The bartender was great although he passed on a shot at being creative. I did not order a meal but appetizers. I typically love Bonefish but the crabcakea Don't do it. I really hate when restaurants attempt this dish with no real knowledge of how it should turn out. The crabcakes held no form as you can see from the panko pancake in the back. Really wet was the best way I can describe it. Waited 20 minutes after scheduled pickup time, then received text saying food was ready and it would be brought right out. After another wait, finally went inside to retrieve the food. We are Dine Reward members and have been eating at Bone Fish Grill for well over ten years and we eat there several times per month. I usually get the Chicken Cobb Salad and have eaten this salad several times per month for a long time now and loved it until last nights visit to the Bone Fish Grill in Augusta GA. Our Chicken Cobb Salad and my husbands Salmon Cobb Salad was brought to our table and we both said 'the dish was much smaller than before and the portion size was greatly reduced from what we were seeing over the last several years and several times per month at this Bone Fish location. We asked the Server 'when was the dish size and portion sized reduced'? He said he was not sure and would find out. He returned stating he asked the manager and she said "the portion size and dish has NOT been reduced". Well, that is not true at all because the dish size and portion size HAS been reduced. I do not appreciate being told completely false information when my husband and I both immediately realized when the salads were put in front of us in a much smaller and shallow dish and portion size was greatly reduced as well. After many years of being loyal customers and dine reward members we will not be returning as much as we used to. We loved the way the Cobb salads were before, now they are much smaller and NOT worth the $18.00 price. read more
