    Shrimp toast

Some the best chain restaurant seafood in the market. Came for a happy hour (3-6:30pm) and had a great tasting of a few amazing food and drinks. Our server Kyle was the best so ask for him if you want a top tier experience. The restaurant does get crowded so make a reservation or come before the weekend rush. When this place gets packed, it gets loud quickly. If you make it for happy hour, try the shrimp toast (caution it is a tad spicy) as it is only on the happy hour menu. The drink of spring has to be the blueberry lemon drop or the strawberry mocktail. One of the best sweet drinks is the mango bourbon sour! If you are hungry try the bang bang shrimp and lobster ravioli! You will be too full to try dessert! A tip for the venue is to make the accessible door - AUTOMATIC. Luckily my guest helped me navigate the revolving door that is extremely too heavy. With the host stand away from the entrance, they cannot see if a guest needs assistance and the bartenders have to yell at a server or host to help.

Stopped by Bonefish Grill for a solo lunch and was surprised to see how busy it was for a Monday at 2 PM. Apparently, the $5 margaritas draw a crowd, which makes sense. The welcome wasn't the best. I stood at the front for a couple of minutes before being acknowledged, and I almost left because it didn't feel very inviting. Once seated though, my server was great, clearly overworked, but he hustled and did his best to keep up with a busy section (only two servers on the floor). I Started with the bread and pesto, tasty but a little salty (coming from a person who loves salt). I ordered the fish and chips with the Bonefish side salad, and that salad was SO good! Definitely not your average side salad. The fish was hot and delicious, fries were fresh but very salty. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and left full. I'll definitely be back, but management should consider staffing up, especially when running specials. The wait between service steps was noticeable.

Mock dragonflies mojito. Good, kind of reminded me of a Shirley Temple with a little tang. Very refreshing.

We had a very relaxing dinner. Service was timely. You had the opportunity to enjoy your dish before the next course. We ordered the Asian Butterfish and the Cod imperial. Both very flavorful, but my hubby said his cod was a little over cooked for his liking. Corn chowder with lump crab, very good. Little spicy for my taste but, but still good, and our seared ahi sashimi was very good. Also ordered their blueberry creme brulee. Also very good, if you like blueberries. Overall a very satisfying dinner.

Enjoyed some good eats and drinks at happy hour. Like the table spacing inside; separate tables but arranged in a communal way. Service for us started out well, but waned a bit before we got checks. All in all, a good happy hour.

Bonefish doesn't have the best tasting entrees so I don't go for food. I go on Mondays for $5 Martini Monday and Bang Bang Wednesdays ($7 bang bang shrimp). My favorite martinis are the Crushed Pineapple and the Heatwave. Pictured below are the Strawberry Rose Sidecar and the 1901 Dirty Martini. I liked the dirty martini! The sidecar wasn't balanced. I always have great service and the atmosphere is very lively, so if you're going for a quiet date night, choose another place.

I arrived a little after 4pm on a Thursday afternoon with my sons. (Visiting STL from out of state). We were promptly seated. CJ, our waiter, came over a couple mins later with waters and complimentary bread. At 4:15pm, I ordered bang bang shrimp appetizer and it came at 4:23pm. It was fresh and delicious! We ordered food at same time appetizer came. Order included: kids popcorn chicken, bourbon glazed salmon (with asparagus and potatoes), and the blackened Baja fish tacos (with fries). Entrees came at 4:53pm. The food was AMAZING!! My asparagus was soft tasty vs it being stringy; potatoes seasoned nicely, and salmon cooked perfectly. My sons enjoyed their food as well. CJ's attentiveness was on par for the occasion. No complaints!

Jovanna was our server. She was attentive and friendly. We did an online reservation for 11:15a , building was spacious, sultry and romantic. Hubby and I decided to try brunch and I was hoping for more variety of a menu and bottomless mimosas. Menu was very basic and not appealing in my opinion. Hubby picked shrimp and grits and he was happy, I opted on the salmon entree with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both orders cooked fresh . Drinks we decided on the pitcher of sangria. Good but overpriced.

Driven past this place my whole life, finally decided to stop in and try for dinner. It was empty! No wait, we were seated right away and had the option for bar or dining room. We chose dining room and looking back, I'd sit at the bar for more immediate service. We were kind of tucked away, it was probably easy to forget about us. Our waitress was nice enough, but she wasn't super familiar with the menu so she didn't have many recommendations outside of popular dishes. The atmosphere was nice, it's a little older and very quiet. For food, we got pot sticker appetizer which was lovely. A little disappointed with the Brussels sprouts but the steak frites and shrimp were good! Of course had to try the espresso martini, which was also a little disappointing. Overall though, it was a nice meal.

Came with a large group, which in many cases doesn't turn out that well. BUT, when you've got the right restaurant, and the right SERVER, the experience can be totally different. Everything about our evening was great! The cocktails were delicious and the food was tasty. It was loud, as it is in most restaurants anymore. But the service we received made up for the loudness. And even though we were a large group, we didn't get an automatic tip tacked on. I always reeeeally appreciate that, and in some cases (like here), tip even higher than the normal rate. Not sure if this is the restaurant's policy or that particular server's, but either way, I SO appreciate it. Well deserved kudos. Looking forward to coming back for Happy Hour....

I am already a regular here, and each time it's just as good! This restaurant really impressed me! The seafood was some of the freshest I've had in a long time -- the fried calamari was light and crispy, and the Parmesan-crusted rainbow trout was outstanding. We also tried the truffle fries, burger, and pork chop, and every dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and served in generous portions. On top of the great food, they offer $5 Martini Mondays, which is such a nice perk for a spot with this level of quality. Service was top-tier -- attentive, fast, and professional without ever feeling rushed. Overall, it's the perfect balance of upscale dining with a relaxed feel. Definitely a place I'd come back to for both special occasions and casual nights out.

Nice lunch vibes, cool bartender, my first time having mahi mahi, I would definitely try again. The appetizer- Crab cakes were good.

Tried the Bourbon Four-Course Meal at Bonefish Grill and was really impressed. Each course was well thought out, and the bourbon pairings actually elevated the meal -- not just thrown in as an afterthought. The pacing was smooth, the service was on point, and the portions were just right. Everything had great flavor without being overdone. It felt like a complete experience, not just dinner. If you enjoy bourbon and well-prepared food, this is definitely worth checking out.

Came here last night to celebrate me and my mother's birthday. We had reservations we made in advance and an attentive waiter. The dragonfruit margarita was so delicious that I plan to make it at home too! The bang bang shrimp and its saucy lettuce underneath is always a treat. The bourbon glazed salmon was perfect - slightly smokey and so savory and sweet.

It's the rare occasion when I get to visit a restaurant that was featured on the TV show "Diners,…read moreDrive-ins and Dives," and it's a true privilege. I don't take it lightly. I spent a lot of time preparing. My mom even made me a special outfit. Remember, in the movie Goodfellas, when Joe Pesci thought he was about to become a made guy? It was kind of like that. Fortunately, I wasn't led into an empty room where I was promptly shot in the back of the head. (Whew!) I was conscious of the potential for violence at Hwy 61 Roadhouse, because its name--and the overall vibe--calls to mind the classic Patrick Swayze movie from the 1980s, which was in fact set in Missouri. I was ready to punch my way out of there, if necessary. The crowd here skews older, and it occurred to me that I may have been able to take out quite a few of them on my own. There was live music, and the band called to mind something you might see in a circa-'97 Christopher Guest movie, or Marty and Bobbi Culp. It gets loud, to the point where you can't hear what the person across the table from you is saying. You might consider bringing a date here, if you'd prefer not having a conversation. A guy from my running group loves this place and spoke highly of the BBQ Spaghetti. Normally, I wouldn't eat anything like that, but this guy seems like he might know ball when it comes to delicious restaurant meals, if you catch my drift. Turns out, he wasn't wrong. It wasn't just good, this might be the way to eat pulled pork. I'd make it at home, except that store-bought barbecue sauce is disgustingly sweet and processed-tasting, and it wouldn't be worth trying to make my own. I toyed with the idea of getting a burger, which is a safe go-to in restaurants in areas where the spice level is often inquired about, but I've eaten so many of them lately. Then I saw that they carry a Shrimp Po Boy. It seemed like the perfect choice. Shrimp Po Boys are never not good, even the one they used to carry at Popeyes during Lent back in the pre-chicken sandwich era, and this place supposedly specializes in Cajun food. It didn't disappoint... for the most part. It was a bit bread-forward for my liking. Some places hollow out the bread a little bit, to make room for the fillings. Hwy 61 doesn't, and they use a weirdly large roll. I love bread, so this wouldn't necessarily be an issue, but there was nothing particularly special about this bread. They load you up on shrimp, which are fried hard, like chicken wings from a hood Chinese place. It makes for a satisfying crunch. The lettuce and tomatoes provided a fresh, healthy-seeming contrast, and the remoulade is just spicy enough to keep things interesting. I'm definitely curious to try some of the other menu items, including some of the more authentic Cajun selections--the etouffees, gumbos and what have you. If only I could get them to bring me a sampling of everything, "on the arm." I'd show up in backwards sunglasses and tell them I'm there filming a TV show, but alas, they've already been featured on a TV show, and I wouldn't want to run the risk of having to actually fight someone.
