On a crazy busy Sunday brunch with two nearby university parent weekends our group of four chose First Watch. The jump in line on the app has been in the past extremely reliable. We arrived in the time frame and reported to the hostess station. We were told 10 more minutes, but ended up only being 5. The friendly host sat us at a great table away from the crowds which helped noise volume. He set our table up with menus and tableware. The restaurant was packed! Every table occupied and staff hustling harmoniously. It was noisy as could be expected. Our super enthusiastic waitress brought a water craft and got additional drink orders. In short order she was back to take food orders. We put in an app of Million Dollar Bacon. However, the table required more time for mains. Within 5 minutes she was back. The app arrived in minutes and so good! If you've never got this it's a must! I ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs. My wife the traditional and son pancakes and bacon. Our fourth French toast. Food hit the table in under 15 minutes...wow! That impressed me. But moreover everything was hot and accurate. No complaints from anyone. My dish is always reliable when coming to First Watch. An overall above average experience that was made better by strong service. The performance of the staff stood out and elevated my rating. Checkout was smooth and I utilized a coupon promotion for buy one get one. I never have a coupon when eating out, so this was awesome to get $20 knocked off. So I flipped it back to the server for a larger tip. I think this is my first 5 star review for the breakfast and brunch chain and so well deserved. Went on Father's Day and had a great experience. Joined the online waitlist and got seated immediately when we arrived. Our server was great and very attentive and answered all of our questions. The menu had lots of options with reasonable prices. The biscuit and preserves were very tasty. The iced coffee was good but did slightly taste like it had alcohol in it. We were concerned at first but I think that's just how it tastes which was good to us. Would come back and enjoy a nice brunch. Great location for me and close to some shopping spots. read more

My friend and I went here for breakfast and had a great time! We both tried the new Barbacoa Breakfast tacos and we loved them! I also upgraded my side of potatoes to the "loaded" option and they were AMAZING!!! We also had the normal iced coffee with some chocolate sauce lining the glass. First Watch is literally the best and most consistent breakfast place!!! No one can change my mind. I love to try new things on their menu which usually isn't like me. At most places, I always go with what I know but everything I try is so freakin good. The last time I was in, I tried their Tri Athlete Omelet and I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend ordered one of their specials and was raving about it. (He also tries new things each time too) I love how the specials are always changing and leave you wanting more after each visit. I must add the service is always spectacular. Last time we were in, we were given complimentary donut holes since the wait on my boyfriend's entree was longer than expected. We didn't even notice or have this complaint either! Also, on his birthday months ago the server gave him a cute dessert with a candle on it. I dropped by this FW location for breakfast on this snowy Saturday. It had a wait time of 20 mins so I sat at the bar area. I ordered a yogurt bowl w/ fresh fruit top and 2 scrambled gas on the side with coffee. I was expecting a long wait from the lines but was happy to get my food in about 5 minutes. The server knew me and that I drink coffee only because I like half&half and brown sugar. So I got the carafe of coffee right away and was good to go when the food arrived. The eggs were great and that may seem strange to say, but they were hot, shiny (moist) but fully cooked. Great!! The yogurt parfait was delicious. This is only the 2nd time I got a FW yogurt bowl and it was better than the first. Fully covered with fresh sliced strawberries along with a few fresh pineapple chunks and plenty of granola. This was a better menu item than the same thing at Hatch'd. Coffee was good and as I indicated the server knew me and brought out a full cup of half and half. Came on a Sunday morning for brunch. Service was great, our server checked in a bunch and told us we could stay as long as we'd like. The only thing service-wise is that when we went to pay, they struggled to split the bill down the middle, which doesn't seem too hard to do, so we ended up paying for a plate each. While they serve mimosa and sangria, I went for the non alcoholic beverage purple haze. My grandmother ordered the sunset i believe which is also non alcoholic. Both really tasty. The service was good. I felt our server was attentive and our food came out at a decent time despite the brunch rush. The food was delicious!! So good, fresh fruit and just good all around. Only thing I didn't like was how small the tables are and how close you are seated next to people. Next time I'll put in a request while waiting. Came with delish multi grain toast and cheesy grits, which were surprisingly good tor someone who's used to that dish prepared in the south. I had the Hacienda Hash -- potatoes, chorizo, cheese, and eggs -- and it was very much as expected...if a little heavy on the spuds. I typically always order from the special seasonal menu over their regular menu. Today, I ordered the, Cinnamon Chip Pancake Breakfast. OMG! The pancake was huge and cinnamon flavor mixed with the butter and maple syrup was delicious. It came with two eggs which I had scrambled and two slices of bacon. It was a very large and filling breakfast. I also enjoyed their coffee which is served in your own little pot, which makes refills quick and easy. From their juice bar, I chilled out with a Cranberry Crush. The cold drink was a refreshing mix of; Cranberry, Fuji Apple and Lemon juice with cane sugar and cinnamon. It was just the right amount of cane sugar. I was afraid it would be too sweet, but it was just right. I should have had them add a shot of vodka. I had to order a gluten and dairy free meal and I'm always nervous that it will actually come out correctly, but it did so that was exciting! I wanted to order an iced latte, but they told me it was pre-mixed so there was no way to get it with a different milk. That seemed pretty odd to me and I wasn't offered any alternative. Everyone else liked their drinks and food too! Paying was a bit of a hassle as we got up at the same time as some other big parties so we were awkwardly waiting in a long line and people were trying to get around us. We love a good visit to First Watch! The staff is always so quick to serve without compromising quality in service. We've taken several of our friends and family here, and you honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favorites are always the seasonal iced coffees they have. My only complaint is with First Watch as a whole--although they have gluten friendly options, they are not labeled clearly on the menu and are also really hard to find online. I always have to ask to be reminded of which items can be made gluten free. With how prevalent food intolerances and allergies are, this information should be way easier to find, especially online. It would be helpful if First Watch could make a separate PDF or blog post with the options that are considered gluten friendly or can be made so. read more
