The first and only time I have eaten at Bonefish previously was more than a decade ago when this was the height of fine dining for my high school self. I was curious what Bonefish would be like now for my adult self, and have to say - I was happily impressed and satisfied!! The service was great, and the food came out very quickly! We started our meal with the bang bang shrimp, and just the other reviewers said, it is the bomb and a must order. The bread also came soft and warm, and was delicious in the olive oil dip. For entrees, we ordered the Chilean sea bass and the crab crusted cod. Everything was tasty! My only critique is that the serving size of the fish is small for the price. Avoid this place!!! Bad news! I was served raw green beans. They were so hard you couldn't cut them with a knife or fork. The mahi mahi and the shrimp were so overcooked, they had no flavor and were hard and dry. I requested Splenda for my tea and after requesting it a second time, the bartender brought me a glass of sugar packets. I did speak with the manager (PJ) who basically picked up my plate and went to the kitchen. He did not apologize or offer any reason for the problem. I cannot say enough how much I LOVE Bonefish Grill! My husband and I super picky when it comes to food, and we typically try to avoid chain restaurants--but we always make an exception for Bonefish! The bang-bang shrimp and potstickers are our go-to apps. For entrees, we love the filet and salmon. Their crab cakes are some of the best I've ever had! If you're a fan of an old fashioned, you've got to try their smoked old fashion. Not only does it taste amazing, but it's also a production just to see it brought to the table. If the amazing food weren't enough, their staff and management team are top of the line. From our very first trip to the Little Rock location, it was evident that they care about their guests and their guests' experience. The wait staff is always attentive, and the manager often comes around to make sure his guests are happy with their food and their experience. My daughter and I took our family to Bonefish for a lovely Sunday meal. Unfortunately, the restaurant is completely lacking. The drinks were bad, from the lemonade to the bloody mary. The lemonade was watered down, and the bloody mary was overpoured with cheap vodka. As we looked over the menu, my sister asked why every dish was covered in cheese. I wondered why as well. I've never had fish with cheese on it. It all seemed strange. It took almost an hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the steak and crab cake with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was tough and overcooked. The crab cake was mushy. The potatoes were underseasoned. It doesn't actually hurt to add a little salt. My brother-in-law ordered a cheeseburger, which came out raw. My sister ordered the fish tacos. The fish was overcooked and tasteless. My daughter, who is a chef, ordered the steak and crab cake. She took one bite of each item and stopped eating. She refused to eat any of it. We asked our server for the manager, who was calm and soft spoken. WHen we explained our experience and the problems with the food, he understood and took everything off our bill except the drinks. He is pretty much the only reason I would go back and give the restaurant another chance. read more

I go on to choose two more items from the menu, I soon after get news that those items are out of stock...to avoid anything further I choose what the rest of my table has chosen for an appetizer (crab cakes). Our waitress brings out our bread in ample time, all is well until the food comes around. We went nearly 10 minutes with our food in front of us without receiving any silverware (understandable but the restaurant wasn't busy) after we flagged her down and requested silverware she asked us "plastic or silver silverware"...what restaurant do you know that serves plastic silverware for quality meals? Bad sign when the appetizer plates and rolled napkins were sitting on the benches of of the booth. No one wants someone else's butt germs on their table. We were actually in no-server land, as we had to ask a passing server after 15 minutes who our designate was. We gave our drink, water, order and received it timely, though had to ask again for lemons. We ordered an appetizer and our meals, and the appetizer came relatively quickly, too. Unfortunately the total wait time for the main course was about 40 minutes. The place was about 60% full. We received some bread m, good but either have larger plates for the oil mixture or leave some oil on the table. We were offered more bread and asked for it will h our food. When the food came we had to ask again for bread. After the meal, the check took about 10 minutes and then another 10 minutes to receive it back. Had plenty of time to go to the restroom (some if this is the people using the restroom), where the trash was over flowing, just like at the host station. We were on site a total of 1:45. OH MY GOODNESS! I just enjoyed the most wonderful piece of Halibut! It was grilled but it was juicy, not dry, and ohhh so tasty! The broccoli I ordered was the ideal consistency and seasoned just right! And ohhh the bread! It wasn't hard on the outside but just the right crispness and then tender on the inside. Bang Bang Shrimp was very good! The Calamari however could have been skipped. Lots of breading, hardly any meat. We both got an entree off of the special menu. My filet was ordered med-rare however came out more on the rare side. It still tasted great and the waitress did make sure it was okay before she left the table. The Brussel sprouts were a tad burnt but still had a good taste. My fiancé got the butter fish, it was very light and flavorful. First time at this location. Been in Atlanta several times. The service was mediocre. Muscles taste fishy, broth too sweet. bread and olive oil tasty and tougher than what I prefer. Mahi-Mahi came dry so we had to reorder. The crab legs were slightly overcooked. They were had to break and get a full piece of meat. Sometimes, you can judge a situation immediately, upon seeing it, without knowing any of the personalities involved. This was such a situation. My husband made a reservation for us to have dinner here last night, in celebration of my birthday. I KNEW when I checked in at the Hostess station 15 minutes before my reservation time that I was NOT going to get a table that night. I knew THEN that my reservation would not be honored. I could tell by the Hostess' attitude and demeanor. I wonder how that happens? Don't they know that a bad rep in reservation-keeping is pretty damaging? None of the managers were even on-site last night, or one of them would have come out and done something about the situation. This Bonefish location has declined since the pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, I visited this location at least twice per week. I have visited a few times since 2020, and the food is not the same. On my recent visit, the steak and jasmine rice didn't hardly have any flavor like it used to. The portion sizes were very small and did not match the $52 bill paid for 2 dishes. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:00 pm Saturday night. The bar was empty with the exception of one single loud, drunk, obnoxious customer. Cursing and berating the bartender for not showing her enough attention. In all fairness the customer was face timing her boyfriend when we walked in. I've always had a great experience at bonefish until last night. The obnoxious customer was just the beginning. All the tables in the bar were dirty. After no waiter for long enough, we asked the bartender if the bar area was still open. When the waiter came to the table to take our drink order, we had to ask if they would clean our table as they didn't notice and didn't volunteer. My wife went to the bathroom and noticed food on the floor in several spots that hadn't been picked up. The bathroom had garbage receptacles overflowing with used paper towels on the floor. The soap dispenser was not working. When our bang bang shrimp arrived, most of the breading was not attached to the shrimp. The waiter offered to take it back which I reluctantly agreed. When it cam back, the sauce was not bang bang. Instead, it was mayonnaise with no sweet chili sauce and no Sriracha sauce. I didn't complain as I believe a second send back would have caused my order to be molested. After this horrible overall experience, I wanted to let you know, we will not ever go back to bonefish. I'm not looking for any apologies, free meal or any contact. I simply hope these issues being pointed out will help you correct your issues with this establishment. read more

servers and host were amazing and the place was clean that's all that was good Now the food I ordered their special grouper with a tomato roasted sauce on top on a bed of risotto Parmesan flavored and I ordered a side of roasted salted and olive oil asparagus. The fish was OK just meh but the risotto was in a bowl. It was so hard we had to cut it with a fork. It wouldn't come out of the bowl that's not creamy at all and there was so much garlic in it. sick I told them they asked if I wanted another side I asked if they could remake the risotto and make it creamy. I was informed by the server they could not do that because it is premade $27 a plate for premade crap I said sure bring me the brussels sprouts because my husband loves those. He can have that they were like we'll redo the asparagus. I was like OK perfect the manager asked if I wanted garlic potatoes with it. very much said there was so much garlic and that risotto I don't want anything with garlic in it. They brought me garlic mashed potatoes anyways. $27 a plate. I got one piece of fish and finally some asparagus that I could eat. I put it in a box and took it home and I am making my own Parmesan risotto from scratch because I can actually cook. My husband ordered their special fillet to which they said they didn't have not sure what a special if they don't have it, but whatever he said fine, give me the fillet with chimichurri on it he was like I can do that they brought him a filet no chimichurri sauce, and when I tell you, there were ribbons of fat and a filet mignon unheard of it was, he didn't eat like four bites of it because it was just fat We asked for our ticket and just be done with it. They were like well we took off the risotto great you save me four dollars my husband's military retired. He gets a 10% discount. We had a gift card to use what they did was use the gift card to lower the bill and then gave him the 10% discount off the lowered amount that's fine it's a business you're trying to make money, but knowing that their food tasted like it did, we will not be back Also, three other people around us sent their food back and we're told because of Covid. They have sourced some of their food out and they are getting cheaper cuts of things to offset but they're charging more money. read more

Good luck even getting the attention of a server. The wait time for ordering is ridiculous! What's nice about this Bonefish location that it is rarely crowded. As long as you don't go after work during happy hour I would be surprised if you did not get seated immediately. The service is always excellent. This is one of my favorite places to go in Little Rock for those reasons. read more

Tony D was our server and he was great, very attentive and prompt with all our needs. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. I was impressed with how many shrimp we received! Definitely enough for 2. The shrimp were well cooked and seasoned right, spicy, as expected, but not too much spice. Tony kept us well supplied with the warm bread loaf and pesto olive oil for dipping. Delicious! I had the Chilean Sea Bass with Jasmine rice and Steamed broccoli and my wife had the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp with Jasmine rice and Steamed broccoli. Both our entrees were served hot and well prepared. Both portions of fish were large, at least 6-8 ounces each. More than adequate for any appetite. Prices were on point for the amount of food received. We sat in the bar area due to our casual attire, dining area looked more upscale (but no one said anything)just a heads up. I love ceviche, they have it, ordered it as appetizer. I was not impressed with this type of Ceviche, no cucumber, no juice, dry, hard to eat. Moving to the rest of the meal. Everything else was phenomenal!! I ordered snapper and shrimp, PERFECT!! Others ordered Steak and shrimp and it was cooked exactly as ordered. We shared coconut and key lime pies which were exceptional, also. Food was ok, very BAD service. We were there late 5pm. Restaurant was not busy, tables mostly empty. After taking the order, the waiter was no longer available for us. There was no water served on our table, you couldn't get his attention to bring us glasses of water. When the steaks were served (someone else just dropped them on our table, didn't wait to see if our steaks were ok), the steaks were too rare, bloody, we couldn't get his attention to come and bring the steak back to cook more, and still no water on the table. After 5-10 minutes eating most of my vegetable without water, I finally got up to the next room to tell him I need water and the steaks were too rare, he said "I'll be there in a minutes", Still didn't see him coming to help us (saw him going to other new customers' table to take order, also to the table right behind us many times, just could not get his attention because he wouldn't look at our direction). Another person came to pick up the steak, STILL no Water. 5-10 minutes later, someone from the kitchen brought back the steak, I told him that we really need some water, he was friendly, brought 2 glasses of water. After cooked again, my steak was fine, while my husband, couldn't find the server, didn't want to wait, ate the bloody steak, and he is a "well done steak" person. While we were not enjoying ourselves sitting in the restaurant, we had to wait for a while for our bill. He dropped the bill and left (didn't ask if we wanted any deserts as if he thinks we couldn't afford it), again the long wait for him to come back. Finally, we took our bill to the front door where we thought there might be a cashier who could help us, then I saw him walked to our table, like he was waiting for us to leave to come to the table. It was really ODD that the waiter seemed "did not like us, did not want to serve or even near us". For the first time in my life, I felt "discriminated". Was it because we are "old people" or I am "not Caucasian" or what? I have never been treated this bad by any restaurants in my whole life. After Christmas, my husband and I wanted to enjoy an evening out, to have a relaxing evening, and all we got was frustration, humiliation.
