I'm from out of town and every time I make it to Orlando, I always hit up bonefish for their big bang Shrimp Appetizer which is creamy, Tangy and savory all at the same time. I try their Seabass for the first time and again was very impressed with how delicious everything turned out. The green beans were crunchy and the Seabass Fell apart with every bite. Atmosphere is always great with a low light ambience. Prices is mid range which is not cheap nor super expensive. Service is always great every time I go. read more

I'm a bread fanatic, but I left half the loaf on the tray. The calamari was mediocre. The sauce was good, but the pieces were quite small and just average. The cod was pretty good though it was pretty firm/tough. The stuffed part was quite tasty. My two sides were broccoli and Cole slaw. The broccoli was fine, steamed, tasty. It was broccoli. The cole slaw was excellent. It was vinegary with a good ginger overtone. I've never had cole slaw like it, and I really enjoyed it. In fact, I'd say it was the best part of the meal. We went here last night and it was terrible. I go to Bonefish regularly but this location was different. They serve instant mashed potatoes (that are supposed to be Garlic mashed). We ordered our salmon medium and it's like they forgot about on the grill. It was so hard you couldn't chew it. They realized they screwed up and made us another one. This took an hour and a half. My daughter had long completed eating her meal. While the manager who served it asked us to check the second one we still confirmed it definitely still was not medium. Overcooked again! The fish was stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and topped off with a lemon caper sauce. A choice of two signatures sides comes with the entree. I choose the AuGratin potatoes and the Seasonal Vegetables. The potatoes were excellent and cheesy. The green beans were better than the usual restaurant string beans because they were cooked thoroughly. The entree was superb! Absolutely outstanding! The grandson ordered the Blackened Baja Fish Tacos. They were spicy and didn't have much taste according to him but then he is not a connoisseur of fancier cooking. The granddaughter had her usual chicken strips from the kids menu. They satisfied her. I found the lemonade to be watered down and not tart at all. We opted to skip dessert. It was a little unappetizing that our waiter was so incredibly sweaty that he was constantly wiping his face. He was drenched. We ordered the Ahi tuna sashimi -- it is actually seared tuna and was quite good. The flavor was good and we enjoyed it. We thought we were off to a good start. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass with broccoli and asparagus. The veggies were good but the Sea Bass was not. This is a fish restaurant, but they served me rubbery, overcooked fish. I was disappointed in the fish but I was hungry and ate it. I don't send back food unless it is inedible, typically. I hate wasting my time sending back and waiting for new food. The restaurant is very nice, clean and laid out well with plenty of parking. Service is always good at a Bonefish location and this one was no exception. The brunch offerings are a bit larger than expected with some creative seafood inspired takes on brunch classics. That being said, what we tried wasn't very good. The California omelette was tiny, watery and flavorless. The bacon was completely soggy and the toast was dry with nothing provided to put on it. The French toast tasted like slightly sugary bread with almost no flavor and even more soggy bacon. Another great dining experience at a long list of Bonefish establishments I've visited. My first time at this particular location on Central Florida Parkway was very satisfying. Started with a couple happy hour offerings priced at $5-$6. Artichoke fritti was nice. Lightly fried with capers and a nice aioli. The fried cod sliders were excellent as well, lightly battered served on small brioche buns. Happy hour drink specials were pleasing as well priced at $6. Tom collins and a Titos raspberry collins are worth a try. Excellent variety on the main menu including beef, chicken, seafood, soups and salads. I really like the fact they keep it fresh with seasonal rotating menu options. We opted for signature Bang Bang shrimp tacos and the house salad. Easily shareable for two people. My wife and I decided to try Bonefish Grill for the first time. It was early enough and we were in Orlando so what could go wrong. The restaurant was clean and well staffed, we were seated quickly and offered water and bread before ordering. Drinks were slow to come out even though the place was empty. The food was not good. Ordered calamari that was greasy from the too much deep fryer oil. The mahi mahi was overcooked with shiny mashed potatoes and mushy broccoli. The scallop and shrimp scampi pasta had 3 shrimp and a few tiny bay scallops. Pasta was slimy and not completely drained. We did speak to the manager on duty who comped the pasta dish and offered a free dessert (we did not ask for either). I appreciate the offer (reason for 2 stars) but did not accept it. I go the Spicy Albacore Tuna Bowl which was tasty and filling. My wife got the Pineapple Glazed Shrimp with Coconut Risotto which was also fantastic. No sure if that is the correct name. Our server (i believe) is named "Marius" and he felt very "show-offy" and when he asked us if we wanted a water refill, he passes by us FORGETTING that he asked us if we wanted waters. In addition, the food was very mid. I ordered the chicken + shrimp with the bacon mac n cheese and caesar salad as a side. The caesar salad was okay, and the mac and cheese felt pretty "soupy."
