As far as the tri-cities goes I think this place is pretty awesome. Very nice setting, good service, and I love LOVE the happy hour specials. The drinks never disappoint and the calamari is fabulous. I generally get so full on drinks and appetizers that I very rarely order a meal, but I do try to save room for the absolutely glorious rum glazed coconut pie. It is heaven on a plate. I had not been to BF for a couple years, noticing the last time I went that the quality seemed poor. However, my mother gave my husband and me a gift certificate for Christmas, so we gave it another try. We made reservations for Saturday evening, 8:00p. We ordered: Crab Cakes, 2- Salmon Cedar Plank Specials, Macademia Nut Brownie, Pilsner, and Berry Blast Cooler. After tip, we paid a total of $105.00. Yes. We were SHOCKED too. Here's what we experienced... Atmosphere: Very nice lighting, appropriately warm, good seating. Very comfortable for conversation. Hostesses: One was wearing faded, acid-wash jeans and a frown, the other was pleasant, but when she served us our water (which did not have any ice!) we noticed she had green marker ink all over her fingers! Yuck. Waiter: Repeatedly went to the wrong table, including ours. Did not tell us the specials. Did not ask us if we wanted to hear them. Just asked us "are you ready to order?" Seemed disinterested and tired, and did not smile. Food: The crab cakes looked as if they had been scooped with an ice cream scoop and then pressed on a stove. They were cool on the inside and lacked good flavor. They also seemed "fishy". The salmon was the biggest disappointment! It was barely a pale pink, and flavorless, like it had been defrosted. It was clearly NOT fresh, and certainly not worth $25 per plate! The sides were extremely mediocre, including asparagus, which was over-cooked, limp, and unseasoned. The brownie was actually very good, the best part of the meal, and worth it, at $7. Overall: WE ARE SO ANGRY THAT WE PAID THAT MUCH FOR FOOD THAT WAS THIS BAD!! My husband and I both swore we would never come to BF again and called my mother to ask her not to give us gift certificates to it. We will NEVER go back! read more

I was hoping 3rd time would be the charm but fail again. On Monday's they have the bison blue burger for their special and the first time I didn't get my food until 50 minutes later and it was overcooked/dry (asked for medium rare). The second time I almost sent it back because it was overcooked again but I was with my 2 y/o and we didn't have time to sit around waiting for a re-order. This last Monday after another wait time of 45 minutes or so watching everyone else get their food I walked out. 2 stars just for their bread with pesto and oil. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Tri-Cities. It is a real gem, and the funny thing is, I have only ever tried one entree. I practically live off of the appetizers as they are affordable, filling and most importantly, delicious! Staple for me are the bang-bang shrimp and the bang-bang tacos. Then I'll get a third appetizer which is usually something I haven't tried before. Also, their customer service is excellent. I can't recall a time when I've come here where I didn't feel like I had a very attentive server. One of these days I'm going to have to try their entrees... but their appetizers are so darn good, it's hard to not just order 3-6 appetizers and call it a meal. :) read more

I have waited a very long time to write this review. We visited for my birthday dinner, and it was such a disappointing experience all around. I chose Bonefish Grill because I had enjoyed our previous meals here. This time was a huge disappointment. We had a reservation, which seemed to be a good thing, as the place was packed. We had to wait, but not for long after our reservation time. Our family of four was seated at a four-top, which was really quite small and in the middle (it seemed) of the traffic pattern of the servers. We ordered drinks, which took a very long time to arrive. They were fine. We ordered the potstickers as an appetizer. When they were finally delivered, they were stone cold. By then everyone was really hungry, so we ate them anyway. I wish we had sent them back. Next were the salads and soups. My husband ordered soup, which was also cold. We did send that back, and when the server brought it back to the table, she informed us that they had "nuked" it and hoped that it was hot enough. It was. Because it was SO busy, I think they had broken up tables, so the traffic flow was awkward. We were bumped into repeatedly, and a server actually spilled ice water down my daughter's back. The server didn't seem to notice, and my daughter was too polite to cause a scene. When the entrees were served, my daughter, who had ordered the filet medium was served a pretty well-done piece of meat. Again, she didn't want to create a scene, so she ate it as served. My dinner, Chilean sea bass, was delivered stone-cold to the table. Not only was the fish cold, the potatoes and squash sides were stone-cold as well. I actually stuck my finger into the potatoes, and they were totally cold. Because I couldn't draw the attention of any staff in the restaurant, I asked my family to please eat while their food was (hopefully) hot. I finally got the attention of our server and asked that my meal be re-done, as it was completely cold. She removed it with a sigh and an eye roll. Once the rest of my family had pretty much finished their meals, a manager (I think) plopped a plate in front of me and said "there you go". I didn't have silverware, as that had been taken with the plate I sent back. Since things had slowed down by then (probably two hours later), I was able to steal a place setting from a nearby table. My dinner was hot and well-cooked, but by then the experience was a complete disappointment. Our daughters ordered chocolate creme brulee, which they enjoyed while I ate my dinner. I emailed the restaurant that night and received a response from the general manager a few days later, saying he would like to make it right. Although I provided contact information, I have never heard from him again. I doubt I will ever visit Bonefish Grill again. Not only was the food and service subpar, it was a special occasion, and upon contacting management, nothing was done to make it right. We spent approximately $250 for this dinner. read more

Wen went in a few minutes before 11:00pm to get some food. They close at 11:30pm on Fridays and there was a lot of people in the bar. But, the server made it very clear that the kitchen was not cooking anything else. We could get drinks if we wanted. We went here for an office party, so we had a big group. I was impressed with the speed and service that we received, especially with the large group. I enjoyed a couple microbrews and the beet salad with a side of steamed broccoli. The ingredients were very fresh and the broccoli was steamed perfectly, maintaining a dark green color (so many restaurants ruin veggies and over cook them until their color fades). The server was so nice and came back frequently to ensure our food was great and our glasses were never dry :) It was very busy, even on a Wednesday, so I would suggest reservations. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they didn't have any vegetarian entrees. There were two salads (classic and beet/goat cheese) as well as a few sides, but I was surprised that I didn't see any veggie entree options like a portabello burger or pasta primavera. Went with a couple of friends to enjoy a meal and drinks. I'm a foodie and very picky about my food, had just had a horrible experience the night before with bland, overcooked food from Cedars. While the staff was friendly, I felt like our waiter was a bit on the slow side. He'd say he'd be right back 10 - 15 minutes later I was wondering where he was. We were one of 4 other occupied tables in their dining area. This is where I took away one star. The food was delicious! We'd ordered coconut shrimp and were impressed with it. We all ordered steaks, different kinds and enjoyed them very much! My fliet mignon was cooked to medium as I'd requested, a delicious gorganzola butter sauce on top with appropriately seasoned asparagas and the potatoes au gratin. One of the people I'd gone with enjoy his smaller cut of filet mignon and his crab cake. He was so impressed with his crab cake, he shared. I was not impressed at all, my boyfriend and I received a gift card and went out last night for the first time. It was a very slow night for them hardly anyone there. The waitress was rude and really uncomfortably sarcastic. I tried the pecan crusted trout and that was okay. The bang bang shrimp was good, but alot like Tony Romas. We will never go there again based mainly on the service we received. A warm welcoming smile and some simple nice answers to our questions would have been better then the waitress's stuck up sarcastic responses. I've work in the service industry for many years and I know how to treat a customer, if they would like some tips please let me know. Thank you! Worst lunch ever!!! Sorry but it was grose. First we had the start with stale bread heated up in the oven to " make it better". Didn't help. Was stale!! Bang bang shrimp, our appetizer, wasn't awesome as I remembered. Seemed sloppy, wasn't battered or evenly coated in their sauce. Disappointed for sure. Next my main dish, northwest crab cakes. Sounds yummy, it wasn't. "Crab cakes" were blend, not even sure it was crab, pretty sure it was fish. Mixed spring greens with what ever dressing, no good. My remoulade sauce started to get a skin on top of it. And was way to spicy for crab cakes. To expect 16.40$ for that. Just don't get it. My mother in law got fish and chips. Seafood restaurant, safe bet, right? Sooo wrong. She had it worse than I. Half of the fish wasn't cooked right. And I mean half wasn't or didn't seem to be fried at all. French fries weren't seasoned and cold and not cooked all the way thru. Plus for some extra fun, the fish wasn't cleaned proper. And yes we found blood veins. Yummy!! I know it seems I'm making it up. But something changed there. And I haven't talked about service yet. Very slow and it seemed understaffed. My mother in law asked for some hot tea. Which she got, however her second cup was hot water and she reused the same bag of green tea she used for the first cup. Since it didn't come was a new bag. Place is probably full and locally popular by default, since Kennewick does not have a whole lot of choices of non-fast food eateries in the first place. Restaurant is pretty consistent in having lousy service for lunch. Maybe they are understaffed? But on THREE separate occasions over a spread of 4 months (Oct 2013-Jan 2014), we have either been ignored 1) while waiting to be seated or 2) once we were seated. No apologies offered. And in the setting of a half-empty restaurant. We've eaten in the finest , snootiest restaurants in the world; some restaurants have earned the "privilege" to be snooty given the stellar gastronomic experience that follows; the food here is mediocre at best and hit-or-miss the majority of the time, and simply not worth the attitude. read more

My friends and my husband and I went out for dinner tonight at this place. It's way to overprice for the portions you get on your plate. Service was just awful, very slow ,very under staff, only one waiter for all those tables. He waiter himself was amazing he was nice and very attentive he gets on star for that. The other star is for the bread, the only good thing I ate today. I had the lobster roll ,the meat was good but the bread was very soggy, no mayo, the fries that came with it was just awful undercooked, and soggy. This was suppose to be my husband's and mine goodbye dinner before we head back to Chicago, but these place didn't made it memorable at all, I'm glad my friends were there to make it fun. Hoping it was just an "off" day. Had lunch and was disappointed from the time we were seated. Had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer, although they were good, they were not great. Admittedly it has been a few years since dining here, I remember them as being much better. Did they change the sauce that the shrimp is coated with? Had the battered cod for lunch, truthfully, I've had better from Costco. It was definitely a frozen product that lacked any flavor other than an oily after taste. To their credit, when asked by the waitress if our meal was delicious, I told her it wasn't what I had expected... She offered something different, I declined and said it was fine. I like this place, hence the three stars, the food is exactly what you would expect, the service is just fine and the ambiance is great especially on a weekend night. My only qualm is the price for top shelf liquor. I hate to put a review on one establishment that probably doesn't have any say in the pricing of their product but hopefully somebody higher up gets a clue. After spending a fun Saturday night at the bar hanging with friends I decided a good glass of scotch would be the right night cap, and was sorely disappointed. 30$ for a single shot of scotch (Balvenie 21) is just too overpriced in my opinion, especially when any other restaurant that offers the same is almost nearly half that price. If you want to have a fun night on the weekend and are looking for a good spot for a couple drinks before going out, bonefish is great, just stick to the mid range bar items and you'll be just fine. read more

Ok, I've been to bonefish at least 30 times, I've had mostly good experiences or obviously I wouldn't go back so much. The lump crab chowder is my favorite soup of all time. The servers are great except one male server who is either rude, oblivious, or takes too many smoke breaks. My favorite desert is the bananas foster but they never have it :( read more

Last night we were expecting 12 girls for a fun girls night out. We decided we wanted to sit in the bar as we knew we would be there a while and didn't want to inconvenience the restaurant. We told the hostess our plans and she sat us at a table that sat 10 but only had 6 seats open. She gave us 6 menus to save the spots for our guests. She said as the 2 other couples left we could save those for our friends. We spoke with the couples and asked if we could have their seats when they leave and they said yes. We also made sure to tell our bar server our plans and she agreed that sitting in the bar was better. When a couple started to leave I began to place menus at the seats and a very rude older man sat down, I politely told him we were saving those seats for friends who were on their way and he rudely told us that the seat was his and he reserved it 2 hours ago but the lady gave away HIS table and he had friends coming too. He refused to get up and was being very rude to us. A booth opened up behind us and we again politely asked if he wouldn't mind moving to that booth since his 4 friends were standing and our 4 friends were sitting at the booth but could have very easily switched spots if he would have just agreed and not been so rude. He proceeded to call the manager over and tell the manager that we had a problem with him sitting at the table. The manager did absolutely nothing and asked us why we couldn't go into the restaurant. I again told him we didn't want to inconvenience the staff in the restaurant as we would not be eating dinner and were planning to stay a while. We then asked if reservations were allowed in the bar and he said no. The older man then proceeded to tell us he is a regular and comes every week and we only come once a year so we don't have seniority. I am very upset as to how the manager showed favoritism to the "regular" customer. I come here a lot and have never been treated like this. I surely will be telling everyone as will my friends. read more

My wife and I usually dine there at happy hour each Monday evening. We can't say enough about the great food and service we have. Our server, Kurt, is usually there and is the best young man we have met in any dinning place. He is very well versed in knowledge of menu and recommendations. Very happy with his job, because it shows in the way Kurt treats his customers. Food is always right on and severed always at the right time. Amazing food! Such a class act. We came in late w our small child. Had a party of 20 slow down the cooks, plus a server call in. We said nothing when the food took awhile but the staff was very attentive as well as the manager. They comped our entire meal. It was merited and w this kind of service, we'll be back! My brother, his wife and I went there May 13, 2015 and we all had the filet mignon. It was one of the most disappointing filets I have ever had. It was SO thin and not prepared well at all. But it was just so 'average' that for the price, we were all left feeling cheated. I could have been at the Sizzler and had something similar. And for the price? We all were unhappy with it. The table setting was nicely done but the service was slow and they seemed rather confused at times with getting things to us that we had requested. The last 2 times we have gone in on a Monday after work arriving by 9-9:15 knowing they close at 10:30 with no plans to keep them late we walk in and the male bartender is so rude letting us know they are about to close. Giving this Bonefish a two-star review for lack of service. The service started off fantastic... But dwindled quickly. One waiter introduced himself and got our drink order and appetizer. Another quickly came and got our dinner order. Appetizer came out quickly. Asked for chopsticks - came after we had eaten appetizer. I ordered a cup of soup and a house salad with shrimp as my main dinner (was going lite tonight). The salad came out before the soup with no shrimp. I sent it back for the shrimp. In the meantime - my associates fish came out along with my cup of soup. We asked about the salad at that point - the waiter said he'd check. About 10 minutes later and after my associate had finished his dinner the manager came out with my salad with 4 grilled shrimp and said sorry. Once we were finished with everything, it then took 15-20 to get the bill settled up. Been to Bonefish Grilles all over the country and the service has never been this slow. The restaurant was not very busy at all either, maybe 6 other tables total. The food was good as usual and the hostess was very friendly. read more

I think I might be too generous giving even 1 star here. The service was absolutely horrible. We were a party of six celebrating a birthday. The server did nothing to enhance our dining experience. In fact, the server never even asked what brought us in. Good servers would be all over that. Our beverages came to the table at a slow staggered pace. It then took a very long time for the server to come back and take our dinner order. The wait for the food was also very long. Thankfully, the conversation of our table kept us occupied. Then the food came but once again in a staggered manner. Two people ordered steaks - and neither of them came as ordered. One was supposed to be 'medium' and it looked very rare. Another dish was lukewarm at best. We would have mentioned this to the server but he never came back to our table to see how things were. Plates we cleared here and there as people staggeringly finished their meals. I was asked if I wanted another glass of wine and replied, 'yes'. The wine never arrived. By this time we were so fed up we just asked for our checks. And this was also a lengthy process. There was no manager overseeing anything that we could observe. We arrived hoping for a nice meal and left feeling very disappointed especially given the menu prices. A huge 'pit' in our day of 'peaches'! read more
