Stopped in at the Bonefish Grill at Northrown Mall today for lunch. Man was it awesome. 22 oz bone in ribeye was a perfect medium rare and the applewood bacon Mac & Cheese was delicious and creamy. I highly recommended stopping in if you haven't. read more

Date day. 2pm Saturday afternoon. Empty restaurant. A hostess who "hates fish". Edamame on the menu but not in the building. Cold wagyu beef postickers. The bang bang shrimp, is shrimp coated in Outback steakhouse blooming onion batter, fried, and coated with blooming onion sauce- not terrible, not great. Blackened fish tacos were not blackened at all, very underseasoned. The drinks were great. Pomegranate martini and blueberry lemondrop martini: the best things on the menu. Not going back. Too many other better restaurants for the money spent. read more

We just stopped for drinks and dessert before a movie. Very good drink selection, and the Patròn Perfect Cucumber Margarita was great. Also the Key Lime Pie was one of the best I have ever had. This place was bad from the time we sat down. We had a large party of 7 and only one plate of bread. Not to mention that first plate of bread was spilled all over the table and our phone and staff was in no hurry to clean it up with only a simple sorry was said. Then the manager confirmed us about a food allergy but when the waitress came back she did not know anything about it. So she was going back to confirm with the cook and came back and again said she wasn't aware of the allergy. When they were bringing us the food, they AGAIN forgot about the food allergy. The manager then came to inform us (after all the food was served) that they "forgot" about the allergy and would recook her food. The birthday girl ordered fries instead of mashed potatoes and was served mashed potatoes, had to ask again for the fries. Wagyu burger was ordered with lettuce and cheese only and couldn't even get lettuce on it and it was burnt to a crisp! Didn't receive any kind of compensation. Went for lunch with my wife and received great service. The restaurant was nice and clean and had good decor/ambiance etc. The Bang Bang shrimp is their signature dish and it is tasty but far overpriced at $12. We went on Wednesday when it is priced at $7 and it is a great value. My wife had the fish tacos and I had the fish sandwich. Both were made with fresh ingredients but the there wasn't a lot of flavor to either. It was quite bland. The corn chowder with crab meat was quite bland as well. The side dish that had really good flavor was the coleslaw. It was quite tasty. TLDR: Nice restaurant with good service but the food was Meh! read more

This was my first time going to this restaurant and it was really good. A friend of mine and I had lunch there today. I had a buy one get on free entree card that we used. We had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, it was so good and portion size was great for two. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great. I had the shrimp and. Scallops and she had the lobster tail, both were cooked perfectly. At the end of our meal the manager came by and said they apply the coupon to our ticket and then gave it back to me to use again. We went in just for a Happy Hour glass of wine and a couple of snacks. We took a seat in the bar & were served water & told by the girl that served us that she wasn't our waitress & said our waitress would be with us. We waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to take our order while 2 girls sat nearby wrapping silverware talking. There was not even a bartender at the bar to order a drink from. Stopped for lunch expecting decent meal since we had heard good reviews on appetizers and drinks. Craving fish n chips and headed to O'Dohertys. Changed mind at last moment to give Bonefish a try. The service was slow but pleasant. The fish n chips I was expecting to enjoy since seafood is a "specialty". It arrived and surprised to find 3 moderately portioned pieces. The cod was low quality and the Panko breading was bland and flavorless. The fries were frozen not fresh cut. I have had better fish at Long John Silvers. Big surprise was the check. $52 for terrible fish, two cokes and one shot of rum. $17.50 for each of those fish n chips meal was terrible!! Never go there again. read more

Truly awful service! We were seated promptly at our reserved time and that's where the good experience ended. Sat at the table with only menus and no water or offer of drinks for 15 minutes. When we finally did get our food & drinks ordered, my husband never did receive his beer (he asked for it twice AND was charged for it)! We received our salads and asked for place settings...the server said he would send some over and never did...the list goes on. The food was adequate - nothing special. read more

We had eaten at Bonefish in Boise several times and just loved it so we're so excited to see one pop up in Spokane. Sadly, our experience was very disappointing. We went for lunch and there were only 3 tables seated when we arrived yet our service was SO slow it was over 2 hours before we left. And we're talking lunch. I had the house salad with grilled salmon. The salad was very overdressed and soggy with the citrus vinaigrette being way too sweet. And the salmon was as dry as a bone. But we were hungry by then so just ate and left. Thank goodness for the Bang Bang Shrimp which is always good. read more

The drinks were the best part by far. But it took over 20 minutes just to get them... and then 30 minutes to order. My $15 salad was sad, the lettuce was soggy and not crunchy.. not impressed for how much I paid for it. Not to mention when they dropped the food off they just walked away.. Atmosphere of restaurant was excellent. The staff was friendly. Service was below par. When I'm charged $3.25 for a cup of coffee I expect the wait person to come around another time or two and ask if I want a refill. That did not happen. The service was unusually slow for a restaurant that had very little customers in it. The food was good, but not out of this world tasty (for the high price). Two of my companions ordered a drink mid-meal and it seemed to take forever to get there. They were very disappointed they had to keep asking "what's happened." Spokane has a high number of restaurants for a city this size and competition is keen. I probably would not recommend this restaurant because of the less than adequate service. read more

First visit here. I ordered the bang bang shrimp and they gave me chicken. Actually worked because they brought me shrimp also. Way more food than I expected on an appetizer plate. The food was fresh and elegantly presented. We have a child with a severe allergy. The staff was very respectful to our needs. The Bang Bang shrimp was cooked to perfection. This is our family's favorite restaurant. We have been coming here for about 2 years. The service is always exceptional and so is the food. The menu has a wide selection of choices and all the food is prepared perfectly. There are lots of wonderful seasonal options in entrees and cocktails. They have been heavily promoting a Saturday & Sunday brunch that includes a few benedicts and bottomless mimosas... Welp, that is not even close to true! When we confronted the Manager about it he claimed it was a corporate thing, but we even looked up the specific Spokane menu and it was on their website? Such great food! I just had the halibut, so nothing too special, but WOW! The broccoli that came with it was steamed to perfection as well as the rice. The atmosphere was very upscale and the live music was a nice touch. Personally I don't think that it will stay in its current location long because the price of the menu and being on the north side. So my advice to you, hit this place while you can! read more

Great place to eat! I really enjoyed my Blackened Baja Fish Tacos. The have a great selection of fish and seafood, as well as a few "land" options like steak and chicken, which sounded pretty good! Service was also on par. Had to give it four stars because I felt like it took a while for our food to come out.(another party who came in much later than us got their orders in and food before us) All that aside, it's a fun new place and I hope to try them again soon! read more

There is room for improvement. The first thing I noticed? My sautéed spinach tasted like fish and had to much salt. The Mahi Mahi, flounder, sweet potatoes, and asparagus were floating in butter. Since everything is cooked over an open wood fire I can only surmise the butter was ladled on afterwards. The cost averaged out to 35$ per person. I will give them time to adjust their menu before giving them another try. Perhaps the cook on shift that day loves butter. I will not be going back anytime soon. Met a few friends here, not being a fish eater I didn't know quite what to expect. If you have the same likings this place is not for you. Very few "other" choices and the prices seemed a little high. On the plus side the people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was very pleasing. read more

Appetizer sampling today, had the Ahi sashimi EXCELLENT!! Also the coconut shrimp, crab cakes oyesters Rockefeller and bacon wrapped scallops EXCELLENT as well.
