Had such a good experience here. The food was great (Bang Bang Shrimp never misses), but what honestly stood out most was the service. Our server was incredible -- super attentive, patient, and genuinely friendly in a way that made the whole meal feel elevated. I wish I remembered his name because he deserved recognition. Arrived on a Saturday at 12 to try their brunch. Restaurant is large with a separate bar area. Plenty of parking. This was a pre planned brunch event serving three entrees accompanied by a different cocktail. We started with two deviled eggs served with a bloody Mary. The drink was delicious, but too spicy. We have always gone to the Brandon location but when it was booked we started going to the Tampa location. Michael is the host at this location and he does a wonderful job of explaining everything and going from table to table to ensure everyone is enjoying the experience. The staff are always lovely and work very hard to make sure you have a good time. I got the lychee martini (7/10) which was delicious but a tad too sweet for me and the cucumber watermelon martini which was excellent (10/10) and is served with a frozen watermelon cube. Decided to place an order for pickup one Saturday night and was pleased with the quality of food and seamless pick up experience. When picking food up and bringing it home, I always keep in mind that it won't be as fresh as it being served immediately. However, I was surprised how well it carried and the presentation was slightly affected but this was in part to the container used. I did have to reheat the food a bit, but this didn't affect the food. The highlight of the night was definitely the bourbon glazed salmon and complimentary bread + oil. Food: The Makers mark bourbon glazed salmon was phenomenal! Cooked perfectly and the glaze was fantastic. Wish there was more of it! I upgraded to the side Parmesan risotto which was slightly too thick and could've used some more salt. The seasonal veggie (green beans) had a nice crunch to them and weren't overcooked. The corn and lump crab chowder was good... nothing to write home about. The anglers sirloin was cooked as specified and a nice cut of meat. I actually tried going back about three weeks ago, and today, I'm glad I did -- Daphne truly made all the difference. Her gentle approach, warm smile, and professional demeanor stood out. I love bonefish grill as a whole and enjoyed my experience this evening except for one issue... (Update: I reached out weeks ago to the customer service email provided and heard nothing back) I ordered a caesar side salad as one of my sides and as I was 1/4 into eating it, I noticed a weird texture in my mouth and pulled out a piece of clear plastic off my tongue. It looked like a corner of the packaging for one of the salad components, like you would find in the kind of bagged salad that comes from the supermarket. After that I really did not have an appetite for more salad. I politely brought it to the attention of our server who was surprised and apologetic and insisted on bringing a replacement salad. A manager brought the replacement side salad over after we were midway through our entrees and told us she would take the salad off our bill (less than $5) before quickly leaving. From a customer service perspective, I don't think enough was done to remedy a foreign object found inside food that ended up in my mouth. It seemed like the manager and the server wanted to brush over it to minimize the impact, because I really wasn't given an opportunity to share that I pulled it out of my mouth nor asked how they can make it right. I picked at the replacement salad, but as I said, really lost my appetite for salad after finding the plastic in my mouth. Hope at the very least the kitchen is more careful in the future and that customer service remedies would be more proportionate to the issues that inevitably occur. read more

Everything was a bit salty or over seasoned. The main problem today came with the service and the menu. The waiter was nice and pleasant, but confused us which ended up affecting the final bill. We were planning on keeping the meal light. The waiter asked if we wanted the entree or appetizer. We pointed to what we wanted on the menu. He said the appetizer and entree were the same price and the entree included two sides. We were a bit confused but continued and we got asked what sides we wanted with our entree. We then saw at the end the entree was the price on the menu but then we were charged for fully for each side (basically mashed potatoes which were a standard size and a Caesar salad which we knew would be a small up charge). We wouldn't have gotten two sides if we were going to be charged extra for both given we thought they were included. This was a huge confusing scenario and the menu didn't make it clear what "making something an entree" included or didn't or what the cost was and the server didn't make the situation any less confusing. We left things as is but realized we should've complained or asked for an updated bill but we were just confused. The menu needs to specify what "making something an entree" is and that sides aren't included but additional/ala carte. It brought down what was an okay 3/5 to a 2/5 because of the confusion, additional cost, and just what was lack of proper service and understanding of the menu. read more

I have been to this location and the menus are the same across the board, so here are some of my favorites that I'd reorder! MUSSELS (4/5): Lemon & garlic sauce although 717 South prob. has our heart with the most succulent mussels! They have quite a variety of main dishes to choose from including fish, chicken, pork, and beef dishes. It was easy to choose the family friendly chicken marsala which is a newer addition to this menu offering. Why I love it this takeout option: ordering online is quick and easy. Parking for takeout orders is right next to the takeout entrance which makes it super easy to grab and go! The tall, young man who helped ring up our order was so kind and efficient. He was fabulous! I think his name is Adam. Anyhow, the chicken marsala includes a side of yummy sauce so each person can decide how much to put on their piece of chicken or you can leave it off for those picky eaters.
