Decided on a late lunch at 2:30 in the afternoon. Greeted with no hello or smile. Host unwelcoming and businesslike. Very dark but noticed a presentation of some sort going on in the corner. Estate planning, cremation burial? Hmm. Unfortunately no music to drown out the statistics of being killed in a car accident. Near empty restaurant which questioned my decision to choose Bonefish Grill. Seated and greeted by server who also doesn't care to smile. Questions regarding the menu were answered by server with distain. Sorry my father is hearing impaired and you had to repeat yourself! Asked if there was a lunch menu. One menu, all day was the response. Ok. Ordered the shaved Brussel sprout salad with Salmon. I had a hard time finding the Brussel sprouts. Mostly mixed greens swimming in dressing with the bottom of my salmon charred. Wouldn't order again. Husband enjoyed the blackened ahi tuna. Father thought his bourbon salmon was just ok. Check presented and collected without a thank you. Won't be returning.

Let's start with the rolls. It is on a whole nether level. The way you bite in to them and the salt coats your lips gives it a great punch of flavor when you lick your lips. I got the chicken pesto sandwich and that was also amazing. The bun was soft but had a nice crunch when you bit down into it. It also had the most perfectly cooked bacon I've ever had a restaurant. The ranch also tasted great with their fried which also had a great crunch to them. Also our waitress was amazing and so thoughtful bringing us to-go waters cause it was crazy hot out.

Still good after all these years. Real fresh whipped cream is gone, however, as is the excellent desserts they once had. Now, the desserts are bland and you can tell they are mass produced by Sysco or whichever large food distributor this company uses. A total shame. They have a supplemental menu of specials with a Brussels sprouts appetizer on it. It's beyond delicious and I added rice to it to make it the perfect vegan meal. Bonefish should really add more vegetarian meal options, especially now that animal Products are tainted everywhere, and the Brussels sprouts appetizer is a good start. It's the Villages so expect to wait during snowbird season. Other than that, it's easy to sit at the bar. It's a shame they took away the Wednesday special they used to have, which drew crowds.

Was hesitate to eat at a chain for our day after Christmas dinner but our family was insistent. I made our reservation online for 7pm for a party of 5. We got there right on time and were quickly seated. The restaurant was packed. Since I'm celiac I do research restaurants beforehand to make sure they are gluten friendly options. There was a separate gluten free menu with many options. This made ordering so much easier and convenient for me and the party. I ordered the mussels Josephine without bread for my appetizer. No prices were printed on the gluten free menu. For my entree I got Mahi mahi , assorted vegetables ( ended up being broccoli) and mashed potatoes. I ordered the macadamia nut brownie for my dessert. Everything was delicious except for the broccoli which tasted raw and unseasoned. The family enjoyed the dinner and our service was really good. Some family members didn't like their meals for various reasons but I enjoyed mine and 5 stars for the separate menu. Would definitely recommend for celiacs.

Stepping down into dinning&Bar area but looking through the back Windows is an outdoor patio&yard area on beautiful Florida day for lunch who is sitting inside. not me! They told us to pick our seat outside since we were the first to arrive that day for lunch. Adorable space they created outside and even a deck and dock on the canal to choose to sit for lunch. Soft music playing and we had it all to ourselves for about 20 mins and then it filled up. The gentleman was happy, cheerful and kind. Great selection of seafood on the menu. We chose the redfish sandwich, slaw&fries. He did tell us everything is homemade even the sauces. The redfish was moist, flavorful with a good amount of fish, the redfish was not fishy at all. Very good. slaw was delicious little sweet had no carrots but that was ok did not miss them. Tartar&cocktail was fresh and you could taste that it was homemade. French fries looked like they just peeled the potatoes cut and lightly fried them perfectly. A little crunch on the outside and soft in the inside. The story of this little gem of place. old owners had it for 36yrs. Retired that in it self is a special thing. Then sold it to another guy who kept everything the same and restored the buildings and spruced up the place a bit along with getting a full liquor license. Don't fix a menu that is not broken just add to it. He will have it for another 36yrs. Glad the beat goes on and I got to experience a little of hometown Inverness. A Happy Place!

But when I first visited Harry and the Natives about 6 months ago I realized this place was different. Now, I can honestly say it's a place 'I look forward to' vs. a lot of The Villages food options which are 'places i settle for'. Pricing is fair for the quality you get. The drinks are Tiki inspired and delicious (I highly recommend the Village Dodo) and you can tell they pride themselves of freshness and quality. They have some of the best crab cakes I've ever had, a bit pricey but they are almost 100% crab (almost not binder/filler) and if you know the price of crab these days you'd understand the pricing. For me, a Village Dodo drink, Filet Mignon medium rare 'surf and turf' style with a crab cake, and creamed spinach side served outside with the tiki torches blaring is near perfection in a meal.

Lighthouse is both a full seafood market and restaurant, giving you that fresh off the boat quality seafood cooked exactly how you like and served right to your table. I had the Blackened Grouper with broccoli and parsley red potatoes. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, super juicy and incredibly fresh. The sides were just as good paired with the fish perfectly. I also had a tasty little side Caesar salad. The house Caesar dressing was great, lightly dressed so it didn't drown the romaine like some places do, and finished with grated parmesan and crunchy croutons. Overall, this was a great meal. The service was great, the food was excellent, and I would highly recommend checking them out.

My sister started with the clam chowder, which she thought was a little spicy but good. I had a small Caesars salad. For the entree my sister ordered one snow crab cluster which I know for a fact their market price was high, also they don't offer them in any kind of seasoning. Putting Old Bay on them just makes the shell spicy. I ordered the 15 reds, which are peel and eat shrimp. They were great, cooked perfectly. We ordered the hush puppies 3 count, now this was a problem because first they should never be that big and on the oily side to me. Problems I noticed, some of the wait staff is not that friendly also most of the staff serving food without gloves. A young man brought a bowl of food to a customer with his thumb on the rim, gross. This is my major complaint and take away that confirms I won't be back. There are two prices listed on the menu, one if you pay in cash and a higher price if you use a card. That is unacceptable, because some places will state that there will be a percentage up charge , not for every item. The place was somewhat busy when we arrived, but it was a constant flow of traffic, because they also have a seafood market inside to buy your own. I wasn't noisy at all when we went, not sure what it's like later in the evening. My personal takeaway is it's a nice enjoyable place for the locals, but if you're looking flavorful seafood, look further.

She checked in on us often and made sure we were comfortable until we were finally seated. Once we sat down, she immediately put in the kids' orders, which we really appreciated. For appetizers, we ordered oysters and Boom Boom shrimp both were AMAZING. It was my first time ever trying oysters, and I loved them dressed with lemon, hot sauce, and horseradish on a cracker, while others had them plain and loved them just as much. The Boom Boom shrimp was cooked perfectly (not overdone at all), and the sauce was delicious. hands down my favorite appetizer back home so I have high expectations. For the main course, several of us ordered the all-you-can-eat crab legs and were not disappointed. The initial portion was generous, and the refills were just as big and came out quickly.
