Went to the bar while waiting for my table to be ready. The bartender asked me and my gf for our ids. I am 30, my gf is 23. My license is horizontal, hers is cortical. The bartender asked me if I had any other form of identification. I politely said I did not, to which she got very defensive and almost accusatory of me being "not calm". She went to her manager with my credit card for "further investigation". I got my drinks but will not go back to this bonefish. Not quite sure what that whole ordeal was about but it almost spoiled the night. The food was great and our waitress was even better. read more

I normally start positive then deduct stars as I go but this time I'll deduct the stars first to get my outcome. You just don't know how many actual stars you want to give until the end I think anyway. Came here for a weekly Sunday brunch. Our first time at bonefish for brunch and the first at this location. My husband made a reservation that morning for 1pm. Our friends were running a little late so when we got there I walked in and they had no problem changing it to 1:30 for us. My husband did tell them during the reservation process that we would need a high chair also but somehow that was lost. 1 star deduction We did get seated pretty promptly. They put us in a large booth and gave my 14mo a booster seat. Clipped him in and we all slid into the booth. Then I noticed that my son kept slipping forward. I do admit this was my first time using this kind of seat so I figured out that I didn't clip the middle part up. AH, the purpose?... so he won't slip out. But it's broken. So I unclip him and ask for another seat. That one is broken too so I walk it up to the front. EVERY SINGLE SEAT was BROKEN!! And both the hostess had no clue on how to use them or what they should look like when properly working or not having clips completely broken off. Suggests what if I just use the straps around the side? I replied bc he slides down in it, that's what made me realize this was broken. I told them that they all needed to be tossed and in the garbage, a serious safety hazard. He nodded his head but his face still said he didn't understand. Not to mention these seats couldn't be used at a regular chair bc they don't have straps at the bottom to wrap around the seat of a chair. The whole family friendly aspect needs a little work when you don't have proper seating for the little ones. Meanwhile my husband is proactive so he had taken the liberty of grabbing a regular high chair and moved our table to one right beside the booth we were at. This one worked properly. 2nd star deduction We all pretty much order the brunch special. Bottomless mimosas/Bellini and a entree for $19. Can't beat that. My husband got the bang bang shrimp (said it was very good. His egg was cooked runny and perfect) one of my friends got fish and she said it was good too. My other friend and I got the burger with fries. I asked for mine well done but it wasn't. Wasn't bleeding either so I was ok with it until it was pointed out that I didn't have an egg on mine like it was supposed to. When I got my order fixed the egg was well done. My friend said his was too. We had fried eggs on our burger. So the cooks just could t get the burgers right I guess. And I swear there were maybe 20 pieces of fries on our plate. So little that my husband asked our friend if he even got fries, yeah he did, just so little they were gone in a snap. Our waitress was Megan, she was nice and of course the food being cooked wrong wasn't her fault so we left her a 20% tip. The bartender was slow though, they should've had at least 2 during brunch cuz everyone is there to drink cheap mimosas. Duh! So it took a little long to get our drink refills. Bathroom was clean. We really liked the menu and pricing so next weekend we'll try another location. Hopefully it's better and they have working booster seats. read more

This used to be my favorite chain restaurant when I wanted quality food close to home for a reasonable price. It's been a while since I came but tonight was incredibly disappointing. Signature dependable dishes like their bang bang shrimp and wonderful house salad with feta was awful. I was taking a dear friend out for her birthday to lunch and a movie. We were going to the Cinemark Paradise 24 Theatre in Weston so we decided to come here first for the Endless Bubbles Brunch before continuing on to the  theatre.  This was our first time ever eating at a Bonefish Grill and we were both looking forward to a new dining experience and catching up on what had been going on in our lives over the past year.   We both chose the Endless Bubbles Brunch with Eggs Benedict and endless Mimosas.  The food was delicious and we never felt rushed as we casually enjoyed our numerous Mimosas after a delicious meal.  Service was ok but could have been better.  We didn't get silverware until a few minutes after our food had arrived and even then we had to summon the waiter to get his attention.   This is a very pretty restaurant with a fish theme, obviously.  The décor is most attractive and the seats are most comfortable.  Overall this was a very enjoyable afternoon. read more

I want to start by saying that I love the Bonefish Grill have been to several locations but my favorite by far is the Weston location. I must say It was a bit disappointing this past Saturday night, I went with my husband and ordered for appetizer the Bang Bang shrimp which we love but the shrimp appetizer very beautifully presented was missing the best thing and it was the BANG!!! I ordered something new I had not seen in the menu before and it was and 18 oz. Bone-in Rib Eye (my favorite) it was beautiful, medium rare cooked to perfection, but it was disappointing that when I started to eat it it was about 14 oz of fat and 4 oz of meat. I would have given it a 5 but because NO Bang in my shrimp and the amount of fat in my rib eye I have to give it a 3. read more

Went back to Bonefish Grill last night (5/26/2019) with the wife. We were greeted appropriately and showed to our table. Our server, Steffen W., got to our table about eight minutes late with water and informed us that bread would be brought out shortly. He took our order and left. Ten minutes later the appetizer was brought out. Forty minutes after, the main courses were brought out. Don't know why it took 40 minutes to prepare fish and chips, and corn chowder & lump crab. And yes, we still did not have bread. The manager, Timothy Roper, then got involved and apologized saying that he would address the issue with the server. What happened? Why did it happen? Was it because it was getting close to quitting time? Was it because of lack of training? Was it a case complacency on the server's part? Saucy shrimp appetizer is a must-have (party in your mouth) that will excite your tastebuds and fill your mouth with a burst of different flavors. They have perfected its recipe. This place would get 6 stars if possible! This is me and my families favorite place to dine. We love everything about the restaurant. The menu has a grand seafood selection of different fishes. They offer to prepare them anyway you like! I love the seabass the the chimichurri. Also, the mango salsa is great (they offer different dressings for the fish). Another favorite is the bang bang shrimp appetizer (that is a must when you go!). On Wednesday's they're $5! They always offer wonderful and affordable prices. Everything from the vegetables to the fish is so fresh. They also have a pleasant drink menu. Last, the servers are so sweet and attentive. Table was not ready...so they pushed two together, passed us the paper, and didn't put down linens..:( Nobody cared... we were filling seats. Waiter was aggressive! Also made us feel he was doing us a favor, Next he took orders for alcoholic drinks. Then came back for non alcoholic. Service was terrible- food was blah and served barely warm. This is the second time here and I am under impressed and will not go back. First time wasn't great either but I hoped it had been an off day- I guess not. Management needs to train the hostesses and the waiters for customer service. Cooks need some training on food prep and presentation. Flavor needs to be worked on - the butterfish entree wasn't great, even potatoes had a weird taste. Too bad overall as Weston needs this type of restaurant. I went to this restaurant 5/4/18 for a birthday celebration with family. It was the worst experience, total waste of $$.We were seated right away, we sat for about 10 minutes looking at menu before waiter came by. Gave drink orders waited again for our drinks. Another 5-10 mins later he took our order, he never checked back with us to see if everything was fine. Another waiter had to help us with boxes for left overs. Six of us walked in around 6, and left at 7 and that included eating desert. That is DAMN good service! The place was nice, a little on the cool side, which was great for me since I like the cold. The food was delicious , we started with a popcorn shrimp appetizer which was wonderful, a touch of spiciness, and came out nice and hot. I got a Kobe Burger, and it was perfectly cooked, and the home made chips were great. I am not sure which fish dishes were ordered, but the 4 on our table were all very tasty. My sister's chicken, spinach and goat cheese thing was very good too. To finish it off I got a brownie Sunday, and that was one of the best brownies I have ever had at a restaurant. Yummy! I didn't end up at Red Lobster after all! I mean when I'm in the suburbs and leave NYC, I typically eat at chain steakhouses because there isn't much else to chose from but thank goodness, my mom's girlfriend who lives in Weston took us here for dinner and I loved it. I was basking in chain restaurant heaven. We started off with the Singapore calamari and the Cajun chicken egg rolls. I had their signature house salad which was quite nice topped with pine nuts and black olives. My main course was the Scampi topped sirloin steak which came with a side of sauteed zucchini and garlic mashed potatoes. This was cooked just to my liking and I couldn't even finish it. No room for dessert. I didn't get any but they also have an extensive wine list and cocktail list which are extremely reasonably priced. Our waitress was attentive and courteous and checked on us often. We were not rushed out and nobody had to send anything back. Now, that's a miracle when I'm dining out with my parents. Bonefish has locations all over Florida so I'll be sure to hit them up again next time I'm in town. I'd recommend if you are looking for a great steak and seafood restaurant with reasonable prices and decent ambiance. Not bad for a chain! read more

Went there Tuesday night, not busy, got right in, which is not the case on weekends. Had a nice booth, but a very disinterested waiter. Love the bread and the olive oil. Quick service, salad was fair, nothing exciting, and I had the salmon with veggies and my friend had the ahi tuna. Both good and tasty. No complaints. If we had a friendlier waiter in would have been five stars. This is usually my go-to place when I want a decent piece of fish, with nice ambience and consistent quality. My favorite is the bang bang shrimp, but I was trying to watch my waistline (I usually watch it expand!). The meal was not super expensive which made the entire experience extremely positive. I went to dinner here last night (Sunday night) with my family. We had never been to a Bonefish Grill before so the whole thing was a new experience. Our waitress, Elizabeth M. was fantastic! She brought us our drinks right away. Bartender made a fantastic amaretto sour and White Russian. We order the trout, tilapia, the mixed (sirloin steak/scallops/shrimp) and the Chilean bass. We tried each others dishes and they were all phenomenal. My personal favorite was the tilapia, the seasoning was just right. I was warned about ordering my steak well done and was surprised to find it juicy and tender -- not at all dry or burnt. For dessert we had cappuccinos and the coconut pie. AMAZING! I definitely recommend everyone try it. We even brought some home for later. read more

My girlfriend and I came here on a Thursday evening around 5:30pm, just before the dinner rush and were seated immediately. I say that because when we left at around 7pm, we overheard that the wait was at least an hour. We had managed to make in in before this place was packed! I've heard mixed reviews of Bonefish Grill but after deciding to give it a try for ourselves, we ended up being super pleased with our experience. After being seated our waiter was quick to introduce himself and explain the menu to us. I ordered a Sam Adams Seasonal, but unfortunately they were out due to popular demand. I readily opted for a Blue Moon instead. My girlfriend had "The Mule", one of their specialty drinks featuring vodka and ginger. I had a sip of it and it was very sweet and the alcohol was not overbearing. I actually wish that I had gotten that instead because it tasted so good! She was not willing to share anymore of it... For my meal I ordered an 8oz filet mignon with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. I also specified that I'd like blue cheese and mushrooms on my steak. After receiving my order from a different server, I noticed that my steak was rather plain, due to the lack of the added items I requested. My original server came by moments later, noticed (without me telling him) that my steak was missing the items, and returned promptly with the items. All in all this was not a problem because the mistake was fixed quickly and without incident. The steak was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I was able to cut through it like butter. Originally it was just a plain steak, but the addition of the blue cheese and sautéed mushrooms made a great steak absolutely exceptional. I'd recommend this option if you decide on the steak, it is worth it! The green beans were well cooked and the potatoes were delicious. Needless to say I finished the whole meal. For dessert we split a Key Lime Pie, and while my girlfriend found it a bit to bitter for her taste, I found it to be quite delightful. The pecan crust tasted like cookies, and really sweetened the deal. Overall we had an amazing experience. The food and drinks were great and our server was delightful. First of all, let me say that this was the first time that we visited Bonefish, so I reviewing this with a fresh palate. We visited on a Sunday. It appears that depending what you order it can be hit or miss! I am giving this place 3 stars for the following favorable & unfavorable reasons listed below: The Mussels Josephine- good portion, but the sauce practically had no flavor. The sauce was very bland. The wine, garlic and basil flavor was non-existent. I have made better at home. The sashimi- not fresh, had to send it back. The color was also a bit off. Our server was great though ! The house salad had a tasty dressing, Very light. The only regret is that the greens were slightly wilted and the salad appeared to have been sitting in a refrigerator for a while prior to service. The kobe beef burger was delicious. Melt in your mouth kind of a thing- I will go back to the restaurant for this ! Kate's Wild North Atlantic Haddock was scrumptious. What I really like here is that even though it's an upscale restaurant you don't feel uncomfortable if you're just coming to to order an app and a dessert. Our sever Julia was great!!! We came in on bang bang Wednesday and ordered a bang bang for $6 and a dessert and that's it, and our service was still impeccable and Julia treated us as if our tab was $100. Was my first time at Bonefish grill last night with a date. We were seated lromptly and I had made reservations because the line at this location can get very long. Ambience and decor are nice, amd it feels good to sit in a nice restaurant. Our table for two was placed poorly. I know the empahasis is for larger grou ps, or groups of four, but honestly for a date night its a little weird being right up against one of the potted plant columns. Service was good in that she was prompt, however wine was slow to come, both first glass, and second. Bread showed up right before our appetizer, which kind of nullifies the need for the bread. And I've been a server so I won't dock points for her not smiling and being friendly. She did a good job, just without any emotion. Food was mediocre for the raving about this place. We had the BFG imperial dip for an appetizer. Scallops, shrimp and cheese, with a top layer of toasted bread crumbs. This was good. I'm not sure about the crackers that come with it. Perhaps it would have gone better on thin hard fancy toast. Crackers are flimsy and bring horrible texture. My date had the Lily's Chicken, which she enjoyed. I had the rainbow trout, which was okay to me. It was cooked well and had a good flaky texture but I wish the spicing was better. They relied on The sauces of which you have 4 choices. Pan asian(my pick), lemon butter, uhhh I forget the rest. Anyway nothing wowed me. The wine was nice. Kaikan Malbec. read more
